Came here as soon as we got out the airport. This was maybe 10 mins from MSY. The location is good, it seems like a pretty quiet area. We walked in and it was a very cute establishment. The decor was just right for a coffee house. Seemed pretty clean. Service was great, the employees behind the counter were helpful and told us what was pretty popular. We had the breakfast sandwiches brought to our table so that was pretty nice. I got the crème Brûlée iced coffee, it was pretty sweet, just how I like it. The breakfast sandwich was good too. We got the sausage and egg croissant, the egg was very fluffy, and the croissant was buttery. Definitely need to visit the French Press again to try the other items on the menu! read more

Pesto chicken salad was amazing - definitely my new favorite salad. (I'm very picky!) Southern pecan latte was great! Went back and tried the crème brûlée latte - also great! The best part of our order was the bacon, egg, and cheese croissant. The croissant melted in your mouth!!! Very authentic tasting. It was so good that we went back in and got 2 more. Knocking off one star because they made us repeat the order at the drive through window as though the original person at the speaker didn't enter any of it in the computer system. Exactly what you would expect from a coffeeshop chain. No complaints at all. It was fairly quiet inside (Sunday, early afternoon). I sat and chatted with a friend for a few hours comfortably. I got the Almond Joy flavored frozen latte, which was delicious! Let's face it though, that's more of a dessert than a coffee, and I'm not a coffee snob, so take it with a grain of salt! One great thing I noticed about my drink though: it was very smooth. The ice crystals had been blended to perfection! A lot of the time, at other coffeeshops, I've noticed the ice being a little too large and almost grainy for my tastes. read more

I've only frequented this place via drive-thru. The coffee, itself, is a 7/10. It's pretty good! I enjoy the hot Southern Pecan. It lives up to its name. Has a nice pecan undertone that seems like a good fall drink. Their croissants are amazingly flaky and buttery. They appear freshly made, which is a plus. The service is a bit slow. I'm not sure why the drive-thru moves much slower than most other drive-thru coffee joints, but there you have it. Overall, decent coffee spot! read more

So far this place is my go to place now! They have my boba ready. The employees are super nice versus when they first opened. It's a clean location. A bit harder to get to but worth it on my way to the park. I love having a stamp card and since I have a few different cards, they let me combine. All of the ladies and the few guys that work in this place are freaking awesome! A deceased ex partner of mine had introduced me to this gem. It's the service industry and these ladies HANDLE IT during the busy times. Anna, is a stellar manager. She responds quickly to issues IF they arise (they usually don't, but this isn't a perfect life) and is always is laid back while keeping it professional. The team they have in place gets the job done and they do it well for early mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Coffee makes people other people easier to deal with and they help the transition. I can only review from a drive-thru experience but it was an average experience. I ordered a large mocha iced coffee, which tasted great and was at a reasonable price. Probably my only complaint is that there was nobody in front of me in the drive-thru, nobody in line inside, yet it took 8 minutes for my coffee to be made. Which might not seem bad but I was on my way to work and if I would have saw a line, I wouldn't have stopped but I figured since nobody was in line it would be quick enough to stop by for a coffee. I'd recommend giving this location a try, just make sure you have extra time because it seems like they take longer than most places. read more

Is there such a thing as a bad French Press location? I don't think so, but I do think this is one of the better ones. It's certainly one of the newer ones, and the design is very chic and modern. The people who work here are also super friendly and knowledgeable about the drinks. They seem like they enjoy working with one another, which I think is important. Also, they are teenagers, so cut them some slack people. At least they are working and learning to be productive members of society. Today, I got a petit coconut bubble tea, which is really closer to a snowball in sugar content than a normal bubble tea. The guy at the register did let me know that they don't add sugar to the mix, but I legitimately do not want to know how many grams of sugar are in this thing. Anyway, it tastes amazing, and will probably give me an immense sugar high. read more

tried french press for the first time today and i have a few issues but a few compliments. for starters, it took about five minutes for the barista to acknowledge me when i walked up to order. i ordered a mocha la freeze that i got immediately and it tasted mediocre. my friend ordered the coffee la freeze though and said it was really good. i had also ordered a cheesecake but they forgot about it and i had to wait 10 minutes and walk up to the counter and ask about it. when i finally got my cheesecake though it was the chips ahoy flavor and it was really yummy. read more

The croissant was big and flaky and warm. The eggs where cooked perfect and were fluffy( I can never get eggs to get fluffy) Bacon was nice and crispy( I love crispy bacon) and didn't even ask for crispy which I usually do. Nice inside. It's my first time here and I'm honestly impressed with the environment of the location. It's a clean and chic area that's well lit. The atmosphere provides a great studying place that's not noisy but also not too quiet. There's also a drive through so that's convenient for people on the go. The staff is also incredibly nice. I ordered the wedding cake la freeze and it's pretty good although it's nothing special. It might be a bit too sweet for my taste but I still enjoyed it. (Just a note, the whipped cream is sweet too) I'm interested in trying other items on the menu because there's a whole variety of drinks. I do wish there were more food items on the menu but I get that this is just a coffee house. A French Press closer to the park! Woohoo! Take a coffee and walk the short minute to Lafreniere Park! The menu offers a variety of drinks and it even has a small selection of deli sandwiches. This is the third French Press location within the Metairie/Kenner area and I love it. The decor is brand new and nice. Lighting inside is perfect for studying compared to the dimness of Starbucks. For being a brand new business, I came in at 9 pm and there were a few tables full. The only downside - making it four stars instead of five - there are only outlets on the high bar in the middle of the seating area. None of the tables have outlet plugs. This location differs from the other locations in that they're aren't many booths. There is only one wall of booth seating opposite to standard chairs, which is fine. Overall, I will be coming back. read more

The inside of this building is nice. The location is easy to get to. The people working here always tend to forget orders and give them to the wrong people. I was the only person inside ordering two breakfast sandwiches and I waited inside. My cappuccino took 15 minutes to make and the breakfast 30 minutes. Absolutely horrible location.. I have been going to French press for years, and I absolutely love their coffee, but I will never return to this location. The line is slow even when there is only ONE person in front of me. I waited for 20 minutes for someone to take my order, nobody did! I just left. I have been to this location a few times and every time I went, I would be in the drive thru for 30 mins, or they get my order completely wrong. They are so incredibly rude here. There's two plus-sized girls, a brunette (who gives EVERY customer attitude) and a blonde (who talks like she's in a DJ Khalid video). I'm literally standing in here right now and they were both insanely rude to two nice women who did nothing to them. Y'all are bout to start hemorrhaging business. Y'all used to have great staff - I know bc I'd come here everyday. I also used to work 10 years in restaurants and would always tip generously. I would rather go to the Williams blvd location as i have never had any issues with employees making me feel unwelcomed. Every time I go to the one on david drive or Williams I'm reminded of why I don't go back! It used to be a really good spot. But now I know myself and a few others who just refuse to go back because of the long waits/poor service. For example, a guy worker critiquing a girl worker as the windows open and trying to serve me. I came here to tutor a student and it was a fine place to study! They have flavored black coffee which hit the spot for me. The flavor at the time when I went was red velvet. I frequently stopped here while living nearby to get either iced coffee or a coffee lafreeze with added boba. I love that they have boba here and it is perfect! They also have a variety of snacks and food but I mainly went for the coffee. The drive thru line moves quickly and the employees are always very friendly. French Press isn't the closest coffee shop to my house, but I'll gladly drive the extra 5 minutes any day for this place. They have a drink for whatever mood you're in: bubble tea, frozen coffee drinks (coffee la freeze is the bomb), regular tea and coffee, you name it. And the pastries never disappoint. A blueberry scone can literally turn my day around. I especially love the service at this location. When I go in at night, there's usually a group of high school age girls working, and I love watching them interact with each other. It reminds me of my friends and I in high school. I love French press and usually don't have a problem but I stopped there the other day and ordered my usual, iced coffee with 1/2 the amount of caramel. First there were a few people in line, took me 15 minutes to get my first drink. I stuck my straw in it before I drove away and tasted it and it was way too sweet. I handed it back to the guy and told him I asked for only 1/2 the caramel. About 5 minutes later I was given this milky disaster shown in the pic. Limited food choices and despite there being no one in the store the food was slow to come out and instead of bringing the food to the table, which they should do when they are not that busy, they shout it's ready at the counter.
