Giving one star is being too generous. I got married 7/25/15 and couldn't be more disappointed in this company. I am not even sure where to begin. When I first met with Tony from PJs Flowers I was so excited and felt like everything was going to be perfect. Well let me tell you don't be fooled by his whole spiel of how the flowers will be imported from Holland and how he does all of these big events at major hotels. This company is the biggest set of scam artists. I paid for the works when it came to came to my wedding ceremony and reception only to be let down miserably. They charge a significant amount for set up and delivery, well all of my flowers were thrown at the door step of my wedding venue because they had other obligations even though they knew well in advance about my wedding. I paid for a medium bumper of rose petals to line the ceremony aisle and nothing was given from PJs flowers, lucky my wedding venue was amazing and they were able to scram and get everything done to where it looked perfect. I wanted a deep color red for my roses.. the bridesmaids bouquets were the color I was promised I would get, however all of my table center pieces were a different color red, the typically red rose you would see at Safeway. The old lady who works there is completely rude and hung up on me the day i called to make sure everything was finalized for the wedding that coming weekend. I have never been treated in such a horrific manner.I was so disappointed with this company and I urge EVERYONE to look into other florists, going with PJs Flowers would be a huge mistake. I am writing this in hopes that I can save other brides to be and anyone in general in need of a florists the disappoint and heartache that came along from deciding to use this company. Please do your research and don't be fooled from this over priced under delivered company. This probably should have been the second 5-star review for PJs for our two excellent experiences. In fact, we're from Oakland, California, and my folks live in Arizona. So for both Mothers' Day and my mom's Birthday, we enlisted help from PJs to create corsages and arrangements for the occasions. From the first phone call to the delivery and pickup of the flowers, PJs has been fantastic. Delivery was on time, making my partner much at ease. They're a small business, not some major corporation, and that's where proper customer service comes into play. Of course, the arrangements themselves were lovely and the flowers were indeed healthy. Call me old school, but if things weren't up to snuff, I would work it out with the HUMANS at the counter, rather than run off to a website for arbitration. Sometimes I get frustrated with my generation in this respect... At any rate, PJs is an excellent florist with a traditional small business approach: make customers happy with high quality product, delivered with high caliber service. If you want to get your mom something Carnation-Cheap at the last second, there are plenty of Safeway supermarkets around. For something more special, there's PJs. We should also name-drop Tony and Jodi, since you're likely to meet them at the counter. There's one more dude who also helps to make the arrangements, but he was busy in the back much like a Japanese Zen master so I never did meet him properly. I was dissappointed. They delivered wonderfully, but I specifically asked for Vibrant bright colors and spent $80. I asked for hot pink roses and got PALE pink roses...they did not have contrast I had clearly asked for. Orange, yellow and purple. When I called Jodi just said we we didn't have them. I said I wish you would of communicated that with me and she I'm sorry you're dissappointed. Dissappointing to not get what you asked for ...and feel like there was an attitude that they just didn't have them..it's how you talk to someone and emphathize. A dear friend of mine is in the hospital in the Phoenix area and i am in Calif. So I Googled florists & found PJ's among others. I chose them from their reviews & also because my name is also PJ. Long story short, their service has been great, Tony even called me the next day to offer me either additional flowers or a discount that I had missed. They credited my card immediately with the discount after my card had already been billed. The flowers were delivered that day & I was notified by e-mail. Excellent service. I was driving home from work and decided to google map the closest flower shop too surprise my girlfriend with some flowers! I found PJ's flowers and at First I thought they only Catered flowers for events, but after talking with Toni and I believe it was abby or amber?? i told em I wanted an assortment of colored flowers and they asked what my price range was, and just Got to work! in less than 10 minutes they made a beautiful bundle. definitely gonna be back! read more

Tony and his staff are amazing! I've used them for birthdays, anniversaries, mothers day, parties and funerals. I've purchased flowers and plants but they also have gift baskets! Everything they deliver or set up is one of kind, you won't see a duplicate else where. PJ's unique touch is perfect for weddings too! Your guests will be blown away. I hosted an event with centerpieces on the tables and larger arrangements for the buffet and Tony made it a priority to work with me and select the perfect flowers.
