A couple of years ago this place was easily 5 stars but now it's 2-3 stars depending on who does them. I get a regular mani pedi so nothing fancy/technical and pretty hard to mess up. The issue is they seem to rush through it even if they aren't busy. Very little attention to detail and minimal effort which is disappointing given that it's $55 for the most basic service. The decline has been gradual so I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt but this was my last visit today. Using old polish that is thick and results in a splotchy paint job plus the rushing made it look like I painted my own nails. I thought she was going to try to fix it but she left it that way. The services have gotten really expensive for what you get. The nail techs don't do that great of job. See pictures. The lady in the picture is usually laying in a chair when you get there, doesn't want to work, does a terrible job, her massages are fast and not relaxing. read more

Just went for my 2nd time last week after moving to HSB. Had an appointment for a pedicure, then sat with my feet in the water for 20 minutes. The gal that did my pedicure was completely non-engaged. She pushed my foot from the pedestal into the water (usually they tap your foot or some other way to let you know to do that). She was in a daze as she massaged lotion onto my legs and stopped periodically - 15-30 seconds at a time. My "not too short" request was apparently not heard as my nails have probably never been cut shorter. Think I'll head on down the street for my next pedicure in 2 weeks. read more

Wife and I called a few hours ahead. Scheduling was no problem. Location is very clean and welcoming. Staff was friendly and attentive. We both got pedicures and were very happy with the results and experience. We'll absolutely visit their shop the next time we're in HSB. read more

I liked this place my mom and I came 05/14/21. My mom and I also got the same pedicure and the lady that did my feet was super kind and accommodated to my top coat. After I was walking to the feet fan thing another man hit my foot didn't to anything about it didn't apologize and damaged my nail polish. The lady kindly redid it and told me to stay in the pedicure seat for it to dry. However, the pedicure we got included a hot towel and a dead skin removal. While I got all this Jeniffer the lady that did my moms feet not only had a bad attitude but also didn't do any of the things that i got which was rude considering the fact that we got the same pedicure. So Jennifer if your reading this please be nice to your customers so they will feel more Inclined to go back. read more

The nails were really pretty and exactly what I wanted but only after a week or so they started to crack and break very easily break. I would not come back here because the tips obviously aren't good enough quality. It's very painful when a nail breaks and it's very heartbreaking when you pay $70 for nails just for them to crack and break. Wish I could get my money back. read more

Appointment was scheduled for 2pm and didn't start my nails until 2:30. The guy who started my nails didn't seem like he knew what he was doing, trouble putting tips on, would glue tip and tip would fall off and needed to be glued again and this happened several times on different nails. Acrylic nails are not put on correctly bumpy and not smooth, polish chipping and nails were put on yesterday afternoon, the owner who painted design did a poor job. Took 2.5 hours because she kept leaving and doing all everyone else's nails. Very rude owner. Owner quoted me $50 dollars and charged me $75 I was short $7.00 and I gave her a second card and she had charged $70 and when I brought it up to her attention she threw a book at me and said write your number down and I will take care of it! I'm busy! Horrible service and would give negative 5,000 stars. Don't go here, save time and your money. read more

I read reviews and tried a few in Marble Falls that were fine, but PK Nails is much closer to my home, AND it is as good, if not better than my previous salon. Absolute WORST pedicure and customer service/experience I have ever received at a salon. This was the second time I had been to this salon since I recently moved to Horseshoe Bay. The first time was here, was just a so/so experience. I thought I'd give it another try since it's so close to my home. Where do I begin: - I arrived 5 min early for my 4:30 appt on 2/23/2021. - 3 of the 5 women (6, including myself) had a glass of wine. I was never offered anything to drink at all. I finally asked. - I was never asked what pedicure package I wanted. The nail tech just started working on my toes. - 17 minutes in, and she was about to start putting polish on my toes. - No paraffin wax offered (I asked right before she started painting my toes). The nail tech put the paraffin bags on my feet and walked off while they set. No leg message while the paraffin was setting. The 2 ladies next to me were messaged while the paraffin set. - No hot stone message offered - No salt scrub offered - No hot towel wrap (she used 1 hot towel to quickly wipe the lotion off of my toes and legs) - She spent less than 4 min messaging each leg - Total pedicure time (from the time I sat down to the time I was moved to a dryer) was 28 minutes. - The 2 ladies next to me, arrived at the salon before my arrival and were already soaking by the time I was seated. Both of these ladies were just getting their hot towel wraps when I was moved to the dryer. The only half-way positive out of this experience was that the nail tech did a decent job polishing my toes. I only did a solid color, so I guess that's not saying much. Hopefully my experience was an isolated incident but unfortunately, I won't be back to this salon. read more

I have gone here for SNS nails for a few years. Kallie did a beautiful job, I always got complements on my nails, very clean and friendly facility. But as she has gotten busier I haven't been as happy with the results. My appointment has seemed rushed especially with the manicure part of the process. read more

I went into the salon to get a full set of nails. I had on glue on nails and I told them that I needed to soak them off. The man proceeded to take a fake nail and try to rip off the nail and instead went under my real nail and ripped my skin from my nail. He did put some stuff on it but then put it directly in acetone which I was not sure about. Then on top of that he's doing my nails and he knicked some cuticles and on one of them really cut me pretty good with the drill. Acted like he didn't notice. The other lady that was there said she could do a design so I picked a simple design and from the pictures that you can see that I'm gonna post it was a very simple line with a heart. She was rushing and like pushing me out. I was not offered anything at all nothing to drink no real apologies no compensation or hey I can give you A free nail design or something you know or something for the next visit. I was very disappointed in my visit today and this has been had a highly recommended place by someone that's been going there for many many years.
