Best leg massage in town! Seriously. I found their prices to be pretty reasonable, and the ambiance was fairly typical in here. The one downside is there is a bit of a communication barrier. I was having a hard time expressing that I just wanted white nailpolish on the tips of my toes. Just nail polish. I ended up getting a much more expensive shellac, and wasn't very pleased when I got my bill. So I'm not sure what to do about that. Maybe I should have clarified price before we began, instead of assuming we were on the same page. The young woman helping me was kind and lovely, and again, best leg massage in town. My feet felt and looked great, though the white tips were slightly thicker than I'd prefer. The main "con" was the price tag, but I'll be smarter about this next time. read more

Fair warning. I had my eyebrows tattooed at PL and it has been an incredibly traumatic and costly experience. I ended up with 2 completely different eyebrows. 2 different Color's 2 different shapes, 2 different sizes, and one was lower than the other. I spent several hundred dollars. The owner was completely unprofessional and flatly refused to give my money back. She did offer to fix it, but these would have to be removed first. (Another costly and months long procedure) at my cost. She did the exact opposite of what we had discussed prior to the appointment. I wanted a natural look (hair strokes) and was very clear that I did not want the "makeup look" . After the procedure had healed and I went back to show her this nightmare, she told me there was no such thing as hair strokes and that she could fix it?? Obviously I have been not been able to go in public without covering them. I still have several more months b4 I will be able to uncover. And will be spending several hundred to fix This nightmare. Love this nail place only nail place I'll go to. Very clean , quite polite workers. They give extra long leg massages when they are doing your pedicures aswell ( my fav part ) . Just an overall great experiance. They do a great job on the nails and prices are Nothing over charged. I just had a really shitty day and came to get my pedicure and I'm leaving feeling very relaxed now. Love that place!! read more

I will start by saying, I have been here many times. and maybe it was the girl I got as I have been here for pedicures and they weren't bad, but recently I went in for a shellac manicure. First, she used the machine to drill down my nails, which is not necessary (just needs a light buffing) and it destroys your nails. So didn't like that, secondly, the shellac was pretty messy. to much fluid around my cuticle and now it looks messy, lastly, she cut me. She used a file and even after me pulling back and going "ouch" she kept going and actually broke skin along my one nail. I was bleeding everywhere. all I got was a light "sorry" and thats it. Now I have a gross looking shellac and a huge cut on my one finger. I am just saying, there are lots of places you can go to get a simple shellac manicure, I would go elsewhere. read more

Yes ladies I just put 1 star for this place. I can't get over the situation I got into with the owner of PL Nails. I decided to visit this place on 24 March, 2019 for my pedicure and manicure as the first time I was happy from the service. So on Saturday I came to have my nails done as a refill and thought that I will get gel and shellac, but I wasn't instructed of which way should or shouldn't go. The owner told me that they do the best job in Edmonton and in rushing way (the other girl was doing my pedicure and at this same time the owner was putting the colour on my nails)-but I did say nothing. Day after (Sunday 25) I noticed that polish nail on my left hand started pilling of and on Monday on right hand all of them started pilling of too. I came back on Monday just to hear that they do not guarantee that this situation will not happen. I was shock to hear from THE OWNER of this business such statement. In arrogant and nasty tone she informed me that they will redo with gel but I have to pay additional $20. When I asked for money back because I wanted to go to the other place she refused saying that it's not fair from my side and they would redo. YES LADIES I PAYED $15 FOR CRAPY JOB because there was no way that they would understand how to keep customer happy -who may bring more business to them. This place lacks professionalism and care for their customers. My nails (french tip acrylic) were applied crooked and my nail beds (yes, ALL) were raw and bleeding by the time she was finished. She did my nails thoughtlessly as she answered phone calls, talked and entertained other customers and co-workers and she wasn't paying attention half the time. Overall horrible experience - would not go back, and I do not recommend it. read more

I would highly recommend not going here to get your nails done. They use MMA rather than monomer. MMA is quite scary, it is an industrial acrylic. Not meant to be put on the nails. I had my nails done here and it was awful. I don't believe the woman doing my nails had any training whatsoever in nails. Very scary experience. Be careful! read more

This place was ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. The lady that did my nails was very rough and rude. This lady cut my cuticles with the electric filer and when she saw that they were bleeding and I told her all she did was rub off some of the blood and continued to use the electric filer dispite the fact that I asked her not to go that close. Yet she continued to do that for all my nails. Right now 1 Day after my nails and the skin around my nails hurts and are bruised on the sides. The lady also user her sharp nails to push my skin down every time she filed; THIS WAS VERY VERY PAINFUL. I have bruises on the sides of my fingers . I told her that her nails hurt and she responded with a rude joke that her nails are just strong. After this AWFUL AND PAINFUL experience she still charged me the full $55. Even after me asking her politely to stop going harsh on my nails mad fingers she comtinued to hurt me knowing that it was painful. DO NOT GO HERE. IT IS AWFUL. read more

I went to this place after i saw the reviews,hoping it be good . All i can say great customer service but they arent the best in manicures i can do a better job at home even the sheallac was with one little light they need more equipment an more choice in colors price is afforable but edmonton needs better nail places like in toronto, i really was guding the lady in to giving a better manicure she was so fragile even after i insited so i went home with the same amount of cutles on my hand form what i came with long stoey short dont go for manicures unless u dont care for ur cuticules ! read more
