A quiet little shop right on the main town square. Definitely worth the stop for a lite bite. The place is obviously small business but it has such a great charm. The sandwiches look amazing. We split a Reuben because we didn't want to be too full. Super tasty. The bread was toasted perfectly. The meat/ sauerkraut ratio was great. Overall a nice little stop. This place is fine, but way overpriced for what you are getting. I expected sourdough bread would be fresh baked bread, and not sliced grocery store bread since I ordered a " fancy " sandwich. Location is convenient, but sulphur springs has much better to offer and I'd recommend checking out one of the many other dining establishments. read more

Every time I come to Sulphur Springs I always stop here and get the Fancy Chicken Salad sandwich, pasta salad, and 2 iced sugar cookies. For me, this is always heavenly! The chicken salad always tastes fresh and the crisp lettuce and juicy tomato is perfect between the toasted bread. It is a small sandwich, a small container of pasta and small cookies. I paid close to $18 for this lunch combo and 2 cookies. OVERPRICED but they're in the square and it's expected I guess. The price is the only thing that stopped a 5 star review. The interior is old and boring, but it's an elderly hot spot so who cares. I like what I get and haven't been disappointed yet (other than in price). Boyfriends review- Well the pricing is pretty outrageous for being the size and quality of what it was. Not to be mean. Trying to give a true honest review. The sandwich wasn't the worst. But it was small. The bowl I got was most definitely a salad with some bell peppers and chicken. If you are in town, have no other options to eat a sandwich and don't mind paying twice as much for something pretty small. Shoot for it. My review: I bought the special club sandwich and the chicken bowl. The sizes were pretty small and the food was decent. Definitely not worth $10 for a small "specialty" club sandwich and $8 for a bowl that looked and tasted like a side salad. They also forgot the cheese on my sandwich. A little disappointed. I'll have to stop and get more food somewhere else because this did not fill me up for $20. read more

First time to try the place during the 2012 Heritage Square Car Show. The southwest Chicken Wrap and tortillas/salsa were so good!!! Also the 3-layer chocolate cake was really decadent! It's one of the down town Artsy Fartsi places, more hype than what they deliver.. Their sandwiches will stack up to our local Subways, but the choices aren't as many and the price is almost twice as much, the biggest draw back is they are located down town and the parking is almost non existence... The main source of customers are the people working down town & if they went some where to eat they would have to drive and risk losing their parking spot.. Pretty good sandwich places that can deliver. I know some of my friends who work nearby this place deliver the sandwiches to them. They have lots of different sandwich choices including healthy kinds- if you get lost with their menu they are good Bout recommending a certain kinds of sammies according to your palate preferences. I remember when I first walked into this place in the morning, I asked the sandwich artist if she can make something healthy and she made this gorgeous turkey veggie wrap with spinach tortilla. It had some onions, lettuce and tomatoes, generous amount of deli turkey drizzled with south west chipotle sauce which I really liked. They have other regular sandwiches available which I have tasted when I tried their party platter-all tasted like how moms would make to their kids which I find it very pleasing. Good amount of meats, nicely spread with mayo and mustards and other sauces, and some veggies to freshen up the taste. Although the price may be a bit on the higher side(all the sandwich shops tend to be on the steeper side with price) the quality and service match with it so I don't mind it. That was good for us as it forced us by 2 places that were closed and right into this little gem. Chicken fried chicken salad was good. I like a true leaf lettuce. This little shop has good service and great lunch options. They can get busy at times but they take call in orders. My favorites: red pepper and Gouda soup, salad plate - pimento cheese and fancy chicken salad, and the yummy cake. Other great options include the tortilla soup and the roast beef sandwich.
