When presented with the bill, they told me they had to add an additional half quart to my Mercury auto which usually takes 5 quarts. Their charge was an additional $4.48 for the half quart. Total bill for oil change for my car was $60.42. I am 75 and have had multiple oil changes in my lifetime, but have never paid over $50+tax. Cannot recommend and will never use their service again.

The waiting room was dirty and there were dead flies all over the floor and furniture. The chairs were very uncomfortable. The mechanic was very rude. The other person there, I assume he was the owner, was friendly. The worst part of all was we were overcharged for a simple water pump repair and two belts. The water pump cost just over $130 and the two belts $30 and $28. However, the repair bill came to $503, so was charged over $250 in labor costs for less than 40 minutes work. I do not count the 20 minutes of waiting for parts as labor, and we should not have been charged this outrageous amount for their work. Unfortunately, I do live nearby, however I will avoid doing business with the Shop in the future. I certainly would not recommend this place to anyone.
