Much appreciated. My daughter's Prius had a hybrid system issue. The car would not start. Rapid Towing came out on a stormy Memorial Day weekend evening to a remote dirt road. First the driver tried two different ways to jumpstart the car, and then he even read through the manual to try a couple more secret methods for starting a hybrid. When none of them worked, he hooked up the towing chains on his back on a muddy road and towed the car without issue back to the Toyota dealership in Rapid City. Our pickup broke down in Keystone while on vacation. After waiting over 2.5 hours for a competitor to tow us and being told it would be yet another hour before they could get to us, Ford called Rapid. Jimmy, the driver, called us and let us know he would be there in 35 minutes (per his GPS). He was spot on time wise. He was friendly and professional and brought us to our hotel from the car dealer. If you have trouble in the Black Hills don't even bother calling the "other guys", go directly with Rapid. read more

I'd trust a drunk with big truck and a chain before trusting this company again. Summary: motorcycle had a flat so I had it towed to a servicer. After driver left, service guys said he dropped my bike: damaged muffler, broken muffler mount, various other scratches. The tow company manager Jameson said he wanted to see it, and after he looked it over, agreed to cover the damages after I provided him an estimate. I sent an estimate on the letterhead provided by the servicer, and the manager decided he'd only pay half. read more

RAPID TOEING IS THE BEST Wife and I were at Mount Rushmore this past Weekend of 7/5/17. Encountered motorcycle issue and needed tow to Rapid City, SD The tow service was there within one hour loaded my bike and off we were on our way. J.D. the wrecker driver was very professional in loading and strapping my bike as it was his own.. J.D. was very polite and operated and drove the wrecker to Rapid City as good as anyone could provide. My hats off to this company for A1 service. I would recommend Rapid Towing above all others . Dont ever go there! My car was stolen and found on the 4th no pne called to tell me i could go get it and then yesterday i get a letter from rapid towing tell me how much i owe. I now owe $400 and its $35 everyday it sits there. A call would jave been nice! But oh no lets wait to rack up more money then tell them they have 30 days and after that 30 days I will file a abandoned title and sell your already stolen car.i used to think this place was cool but not anymore! The WORST customer service I have ever dealt with! We called because we accidentally locked the keys inside our vehicle. So my husband is talking to the worker coming out, and before he can provide all his information, the guy just HANGS UP on him. The guy gets here, and as soon as I answer the door, he tells me to get the registration and my license in the most disrespectful & snappy attitude. Before he starts , he asks about payment & I tell him that my husband was suppose to provide his card info to charge over the phone(or he would have got the info had he not hung up!) Thats when the guy's attitude turned from bad to worse. He raises his voice and saying he better be paid before he opens the car, that my husband should have been here, & that he's leaving until he gets here. The guy signed the receipt with the signature E.L so I dont know his name. Overall, this is the worse customer service in my life. If these are the people that this company employs, then they don't deserve the business they get. My husband had an okay experience with him, so maybe the worker is sexist and doesn't like doing business with a woman. I have never been talked down to that much in my life, horrible service, just avoid this place like the PLAGUE!!! read more
