It gets the job done for an Internet cafe. There is a good variety of games on the computers but it needs better service. Most of the chairs are old and broken or ripped. Cheap prices for game time but not all of the computers work. There is a lot of glare from the outside; needs better lighting. read more

Good place, good music for gaming, shaved ice is really good (they have a really good selection of shaved ice). Could be a little more user friendly on letting people know how much time they have left (ie. go to their website and it will tell you how much time is left on your ip or however they track it) but aside from that this place is pretty cool. Prices are reasonable. Parking lot in back. EDIT: I used their computers for gaming. Got some lag but the time was displayed. I should add in that when you're using your laptop the time you have remaining is not displayed so unless you're personally keeping track its hard to know how much time you have left. read more

I spent $120 for my iPhone 7+ screen to get fixed On December 16. I've noticed the guy that fixed my phone did a really quick job and told me it would take 2 weeks for the screen/phone to adjust. When I tried to make a phone call, I couldn't talk with the phone up to my ear. So, I had to talk on speaker with everybody that called me. I contacted them and they were not willing to fix my phone at all and said I had to go to the Apple store. After I've explained to them, the manager got involved and the situation didn't get solved. He explained to me that they only fix the screen and it has nothing to do with the audio. Also said, iPhone 7s and 6s always have these audio glitches. I had no issues like that before I got the screen replaced. When they replaced the screen, they took the phone all apart, but not responsible for the audio. These people just want money and have poor customer service. I warn y'all these people are scammers! Don't go here to get your device fixed. read more

Since 2002 when PlaNet Cyber opened their new location I have been a client and associate for this company and the owners. I'm not being biased when I say that they are some of the most wonderful people I have had the pleasure of knowing and doing business with throughout the years! They pride themselves on maintaining the highest level of service so all customers and clients are truly happy and satisfied with their overall experience. I have personally witnessed them going above and beyond for their clients and jobs sometimes working well into the wee hours of the morning just to get things completed correctly and on time. I also know first hand how hard Jobin works and how much of a pride and joy his business is, how much he strives for it to be the very BEST -all aspects that I appreciate about the establishment and his crew are due to his diligence and tenacity to be, do, have, the most excellent experience one can possible have at PlaNet Cyber. There are a couple of areas that could be improved mainly having to do with being fully staffed at all times; the challenge being to find competent, dedicated and loyal employees who STAY. This is being focused on currently, along with implementing a stream-lined, consistent, customer service system. I highly recommend this business if you are in need of computer wizardry (they perform in tip top magic wand fashion!) or if you're in the area and need to draft or check email, utilize the desktop, they have every program you can think of and if they don't have what you're looking for -ask and they will make it happen for you; -it's just the way they are! This review is for the LAN center ONLY! Besides the fact that they sell a quite interesting (overpriced) menu of goodies, the actual LAN center itself is pretty entertaining! First off, lets be honest, it's probably the closest LAN center around the San Fernando Valley nowadays and having one around is the amazing part. I went in as a new comer with a friend and signed up for their membership, where it was 20$ for 9 hours and every hour after that is 3$/hour instead of 4$/hour for a non-member. Sounded good enough for the both of us! Membership sign-up was simple and the log-in process is straight forward. The computers itself is above average, but it is definitely not the best setup in the world. Their headsets are pretty cheap and flimsy, but I don't even use the thing anyways since I am next to my buddy. The atmosphere is very friendly and laid-back, as you can imagine it is the typical setting for college students who loves smoking weed and playing games lol. The area is ideal for sucking you into the munchies trap after a couple hours of gaming. There are so many delicious joints to choose from! (In-N-Out, Panda Express, Taco bell, etc.) Now, every time my friends want to game, we usually try to head over to Planet Cyber. Thanks a lot guys! read more

I went in here to get my cracked screen fixed April 10. Jecsan (Jex) took over an hour to fix my phone. Due to this he gave me a free screen protector. Still took way too long. Yesterday while out with my family for Mother's Day my entire screen fell out of my phone. No cracks or scratches it just fell out. My phone screen is completely black and detached from my phone. I called yesterday to speak with a manager and I was told to call back today since no manager was available. So instead I drove up to the store and spoke with Jex, he told me he couldn't help me unless I paid again because the ribbon was ripped. I told him no and he informed me I would need to come back up there and get approval from a manager to get it fixed free. I wait an hour and go back up to Planet Cyber and speak with Sid. He was extremely rude from the beginning as soon as I starts to explain the situation. He told me he could give me a discount but nothing else. Why on earth would I spend more money on an issue caused by your employer. Stand behind your produc! I asked to speak with the owner and they said they couldn't give me his information they just told me his name was David and they will have him call me. No one has called to rectify this situation. Bottom line DO NOT go her to get your phone fixed unless you want to deal with a faulty phone after and they will cause bigger issues with your phone so you can keep spending $$. THEY ARE SCAMMERS and their phone tech has no idea what he is doing. I literally had my phone for 4 weeks before the screen popped out. I even went to Apple Store and they told me I received a faulty screen replacement. These people will scam you out of money to "fix your phone" but trust me you'll have bigger issues after. My laptop running windows 10 was so corrupt when I tried to boot up it would boot to the hp logo and then stopped dead in it's tracks I would then power off and then power back on. I could go but all I wanted to say these folks know their stuff. They got my system back up after wiping the hard drive and then loaded all the drivers I needed this is a time saver for me This is the second time I've used them. And I'm a happy camper. Yes, I understand why some of the reviews might be negative, but I can see how these reviews can be easily turned positive: customer service. I brought my laptop here because the hard drive crashed and later was shown the reason why it crashed... a broken palm rest. The guys at Planet Cyber stated that the new Palm Rest would be ready in a weeks time and everything would be good.... After the week past I called and asked where my computer was... they stated that because of a shipping issue they had to reship the rest and it would be ready in a couple more days... okay... Now another week past and I need a laptop for school work. I become impatient and this is where the regret sets in. This is where the 1 star review begins, but all this changed when my sister called the Planet Cyber and my computer was fixed by the manager the next day. The manager (I don't remember his name 'cause this was about 3-4 months ago) was a very nice guy who was human. You have to understand that this is a small business and that these people are human-beings. He fixed my old palmrest and now I am typing off of my laptop which has no problems at all. He gave me a good deal and the customer service was great at that point. Yes, it took a while, but overall they did their job... the computer was fixed... Will I go back... I don't know, but they did there job and were nice about it. I like the small business feel of the place instead of the corporate feeling of places like BestBuy. Time to be honest about this place. Any 5 star review you see under Canoga park iPhone repair or Planet Cyber is a lie. If you leave a good review you can get 3 hours free which is the only thing you should do. Also the default manager picture for canoga park iphone repair is a catfish. Don't buy the membership it's a scam you get 6 hours for $20 to start membership but you can just pay $20 and get 8 hours and a water instead. Which is also a scam lol if you come here ONLY buy the day pass $19 and you get 15 hours for the day. This is a good cheap hotel option for those who are smart but it's disgusting to be real. The keyboards still have stains from last year most of the computers have problems because they don't routinely update them and check equipment. At one point the whole place smelled of poo, I can really go on for days never the less I no longer need this place as a hotel and will never return so if you do just be smart and keep your space from these people. My b/f called and he was like "well, bring your computer in again, and I'll fix it". If I could give zero stars I would. I originally brought my laptop in to be repaired. Weeks later they tell me it is finally ready. It didn't even last 30 days. Brought it back and they tell me it needs a new motherboard. I decide to pay more money and replace the motherboard. Not even 8 months later the computer no longer works. I do not believe they replaced the motherboard, only charged me for it. They never call you back when they say they will and the repair guy is never there when you need to talk to him. They are very SHADY and I would NOT recommend paying for any type of repair there. Computer Repair seems to be the new method of scamming people. Be careful where you go! Long story short, I was physically assaulted by a worker there at the Studio City Planet Cyber. I paid to have a hard drive transfer and they didn't do it successfully. I tried to leave with my things after ALREADY PAYING and he tried to make me sign some release form. I refused and he grabbed my things - some fell to the ground - he was physically trying to keep me from leaving the store, followed me to my car, then tried to keep me from leaving the parking lot. I filed a report with BBB and my CC company. After my CC company refunded my money, I received a call from the guy that assaulted me and he said "Don't f*** with me, I know your address, come to the store, sign the form and give me my money back or you are going to be sorry." I took my laptop in, because the track pad was acting erratic and I thought I had a virus. They said it was water damage and first tried removing the water damage, but ended up replacing the hard drive. After complications and 4 weeks, it cost me over $300 and the problem wasn't fixed! How do you return a product to a customer when the problem is still there? I took it to the Apple store and they replaced the track pad for free in a day which fixed the problem. Update: The HTC Vive experience was an intense amount of fun. We're definitely going back. We had some technical difficulties, but it is a new system, so I'm not trippin hard on that. Expect some wait time while the guys set up, but it's worth it. They're super cool and they made sure that we got the time we paid for, taking note of the downtime between some glitches. They knew that we were up for all the stops so they also made sure that we experienced as many of the games as possible. I really can't wait until my next go round. read more

This place is a big rip off. Took my computer in because it would not turn on. The problem was a power port, they also said the battery that kept track of the time and date was bad and they wanted another 50 to replace it. The battery was fine when I brought it in. And now that I have my computer back it runs a lot slower than before and the system battery is bad. The system battery was working fine before I gave it to them. read more

I took my HP laptop to them to get it fixed in Oct and when i left it with them i was told it would take 5 days to fix and 7 days if parts needed to be ordered. 17 days later and many phone calls later and $350.00 later i got my PC back.If i new it was going to take that long i would have bought a new one! 16 days later my laptop shut down and will not work...I called them and was told the warranty was for 15 days and there was nothing they could do for me.
