Why is the White River Club gym Anderson, IN so dirty? The locker room, shower, and sauna are all incredibly filthy. It looks like they've never been renovated, and it's just a breeding ground for germs and bacteria. But in 2005 it was very different. read more

This place is horrible. They are extremely rude. The facility is disgusting. The appliances are old and I don't think they are ever cleaned. I specifically went there because they offered child care but the child care was a cleaning lady. My daughter was upset every time she was with her and each time I picked her up the lady said a rude comment to me about my daughter. When I called and offered to buy out of my contract because I was unhappy with their service they said I made a commitment and I need to stick with it. They also told me I can just have it go to collections which makes me believe that the other negative comment on here about these people being crooks is very true!! I'm warning you.. don't get stuck in this trap like I did. read more

These people are criminals. They will tell you that you're signing up for month-to-month, that you can cancel any time, then when you try to cancel they'll claim you're on contract and send you to a collection agency where you'll get sued and garnished. Don't trust these people, they stay open by selling contracts to collection agencies. read more

Being new(er) to the area I searched around quite a bit before choosing which gym was right for me and my husband. We ended up with White River Club and couldn't be happier with our choice! To start the staff is friendly and always accommodating. The equipment is kept clean and typically in good working order. The other gym members are pretty friendly as well which is a bonus. Changing rooms seem to be in nice condition every time I use them and the pool is clean. I've worked with a personal trainer (Dave) for a few months and he's great. Kicks my behind into gear and very helpful in learning the equipment to use, and what I should be doing. read more

My grandaughter had her 7th birthday party at White River Club and we had use of the swmming pool. The chlorine was so bad that almost every child at the party was in the bathroom with cold compresses on their eyes due to the burning.The chlorine was so bad my grandaugher was in tears. It is one day later and my eyes are still burning. I called the manager (Mike) to inform him of this amd he said that the person that was supposed to work had called in sick. When I mentioned how bad the chlorine was, he said that maybe the maintenance man put extra chlorine in the water before the party. I would not recommend this facility to anyone thinking of having a party. The conditions were dangerous to all and the lack of responsiveness from the staff was unprofessional and uncaring. read more

I attended a birthday party for my niece here, and I was impressed! They had part of a basketball court blocked off for us, and we had the pool for our party too! Apparently on Sundays they do this (I am not sure about other days). Everything was clean, and the kids had lots of fun. The only drawbacks were some elderly people who did not heed the "party" signs and continued to use the hot tub while the kids were in the pool area. Yes, the sign says the hot tub is not for kids their age, but of course they are going to get in(it was the older kids of the party, and none were in for very long). These ever-so-pleasant folks told the kids to get out. Okay. How about you get out of the pool area when there is a party? The kids took to jumping in the pool trying to splash the grumpy folks in the hot tub, and honestly, the adults/parents found it pretty funny. Yes, it was a party and apparently we were all acting like children. They cleaned up from the party for us! I was trying to help and get rid of the multiple open water bottles and beverages, which led to a trip through the locker room. It was also nice and clean! I cannot speak to any of the other areas, but the pool, gym and lockerroom were pretty impressive to me! read more

I enjoy coming and exercising here. Zumba is great here! My kids love using the pool and I love using the elliptical! Great place for anyone to join. Staff is very friendly and helpful. read more

Great yoga classes! They're held upstairs away from everything else. The instructor turns the lights low and plays music and really gets you in the zone. Great prices as well! read more
