I was going…read moreto just write about one area of this place but now I think I may have to add to this later...I mean they have a Yoga room you can go stretch in anytime unlike some place that close off the rooms if no classes etc. But I really wanted to focus on how when my back goes out I have to make the drive north (I live closer to Livrite INDY). It is the one place I can go to that has the water massage table that is better than any other massage I have ever had. It literally just takes the ten minutes of that, swim some laps, hit the jacuzzi and steam room and kind of hit the pool again, if needed and I feel like I can walk again. I love that they have areas all around that are peaceful , quiet and with comfy chairs. When I was younger I didn't need all of that but now it's nice to take a minute between exercises and have a little mindfulness. It is also nice to have more than a bench in the locker rooms to put on shoes etc. Sometimes Mary Kay ladies etc will leave catalogs and samples out as well and that is always nice to check out. They also have little micro fiber towels available and cleaners. The shampoo/body cleanser is nice too and smells good (just the fact they have it is huge). When I was there yesterday, they had bagels out and the trainer was in the kitchen making a plate.. I though to myself I'd better run---here comes the hard core sale- he never did that:) He was so nice and even let me take his picture. I love the books up front and that God has a place here. I love that it never smells like pot -- and is always clean. You feel safe here and can breathe easily even if you have asthma like me. The staff is always friendly and you feel welcome here. I have taken classes here etc and they have alot of equipment but today I wanted to focus on how it is more than just a place to workout. It is a place to get centered and heal. I love it.

From the cardio to the weights, the daily "workout" person has plenty of options. And for those interested in other activities, there is a gym (flex) that I've seen basketball, volleyball, and of course lots of pickleball played in. Plus, there is a sweet gymnastics area and a cheer program! If you are into tennis, the facility is top notch, plus they have 3 tennis courts that serve a dual purpose, so there are 6 painted pickleball court lines on them for those that prefer a tennis surface. I miscategorized THR as a crowded Bikram studio for the past few years and holy crap I was wrong! Gorgeous studio, action packed schedule, amazing instructors and very friendly staff to make this an end to end phenomenal fitness experience. Pro tip: The $59 unlimited for 2 weeks is amazing if you need acclimate to extreme heat and/or build stamina for being active in the heat. Signed up to prep for Burning Man and find it extremely effective! Past week I have enjoyed pilates, yoga & sculpting.

I returned 13 days later, meaning there was only one day left on my two-week pass. I explained this to the front desk and asked if there was any way to extend or honor the original trial period, since I wasn't able to use it due to circumstances completely out of my control. I was only offered options that would require me to make an additional payment, and when I followed up explaining my disappointment and asking if there was any flexibility, I never received a response. Considering this is a yoga studio, I expected more understanding, compassion, and accommodation in a situation involving a family emergency. Overall, the lack of communication and empathy overshadowed the experience.

Review of Fling Bungee Fitness:…read more I don't know what kind of sorcery this place is, but somehow I pay money to fling myself around, sweat like a maniac, and thank them for it. And it is worth every single penny! Every class feels like a mix between a comedy show, a workout, and a mild exorcism. The instructors are basically personal trainers with main character energy -- they'll destroy your quads, hype you up like a rockstar, and still make you laugh mid-burpee. I came here for fitness. I stayed because therapy is more expensive, and honestly, my abs haven't stopped crying (or laughing) since. You'll never regret walking in the doors.
