They have an exercise area and weight room. The exercise area has treadmills, ellipticals, and plenty of other exercise machines that have TVs. Also on the main floor the Y has a one basketball court size gym, three racquetball courts, and an aerobics room. On the second floor they have a karate room, swimming pool, and locker rooms. The swimming pool is decent sized and has a lot of lanes. The locker rooms have showers and a sauna.

If theres more than a few people using free weights, u might have to wait to use the plates. Theres also plenty cardio equipment with tvs. The location is smaller than other gyms. I dont mind. I usually try to drop in when theres less people. They also offfer personal training- which im starting next week! Itll be with a professional female body builder. I like the quality of trainers that are available.

Aspen Athletic Clubs is a pretty cool place. It is relatively small (compare it to say an Xsport or…read moreLA Fitness), but it has everything I need, including an area where I can do deadlifting without anyone frowning at me, as they have a good section dedicated to powerlifts and crossfit. This gym has a decent amount of cardio machines, along with several squat racks (three of em) and a couple of pulley machines. For bench pressing, there's no conventional bench presses, rather, they have racks, where you can place barbell holders at and move over a bench so you have an impromptu bench press. They also have a decent amount of dumbbells. I really liked the crossfit area as they got racks to perform them silly kip pullups along with medicine balls and Olympic plates. They also have a decent padded section where you can do stretches. BATHROOM REVIEW: This is more about the locker room. Pretty decent, with no naked old men walking around air-drying their nether regions. That's great in my book. Sit or squat? Squat.... it's still a locker room :-P

I love that the workouts are easy to follow, I just show up and they coach me through it all. I always leave feeling like I just spent 60 minutes focused on myself, my health, and I feel better for it.
