Thank you Angel. Every morning I see her in here she's working (whether refilling the sprays to wipe the machines or cleaning the locker rooms). I know when she's in here the antibacterial sanitizer is filled and things are clean. There's another employee that is always making sure the weight areas in the ab and stretch area have a good range of grapple accessories available but I don't remember his name but he normally works in the morning too. The only reason there weren't five stars is when are we getting new machines? Many of the other locations have been updated. I saw one in Snellville with an actual hip thrust machine and another location with fake turf areas and reg squat bars instead of all smith machines. read more

The newness of this building has warn off. The place is busier than it used to be and there is always a machine or two not working. These inconveniences will not stop you from getting in your full workout. They have plenty of machines and everything is relatively clean. There is always locker space. This venue pretty open at all times except the weekends. I would prefer a place open 24 hours during the weekends but this place closes at 8PM on the weekend. The massage chairs are nice and I like all the TVs that allow me to stay entertained. I wish we could change the channels. I have noticed that some are getting aggressive with grabbing the massage machines. Calm down, you will get your turn. read more

I have been going to this gym since last year, and it is such a great gym. I have always been intimidated by the gym, but the environment at Planet Fitness is true to advertisement. It is a no judgment zone. I love how easy the gym is to navigate. I am a shorty, so being able to adjust the equipment is easy to do. The staff is always friendly, and everyone has enough equipment to get a good workout. The crowd meter is excellent for me to see if it is a good time to head to the gym. If you are looking to start the New Year right and head to the gym you can't beat $10 and this gym is great! read more

The staff got the two stars for this facility. I walked into the locker room and then the restrooms. I then came back out of the restrooms and revisited the reception desk because I needed to see if staff would be able to do a routine maintenance check. While staff took care of that restroom maintenance I decided to use the 10 minute massage bed and when I re- entered the restroom there had been a cleaning as I asked but the restroom still came with a horrid scent. The showers, locker room and toilets all carried the same scent; which in tell was urine. This facility disappointed me with only the restroom area and its scent. And I just don't know if it's the water system but the scent is unbearable and needs to be attended to outside of staff routine cleaning. read more

I've been a health & fitness enthusiast for nearly 40 years and have been a member of gyms around the world and Planet Fitness Brookhaven is the best gym I've ever been to!! This is not because it's a fairly new gym, it's because of Angel who is always there with a smile even at 4-5am. Her dedication to keep the gym clean and tidy, make sure all the questionable people stay out, and supporting members regardless of their fitness level is hands down a 5 star rating!! When I walk in the gym and Angel is not working you can immediately tell a difference in the cleanliness (not as good) and there's more than likely some riff raff hanging out in the locker room. Terrible customer service at Planet Fitness Brookhaven GA on Peachtree road It was supposed to be a simple, pleasant afternoon. I wanted to take my 75-year-old father-in-law to Planet Fitness in Brookhaven, GA, just to spend some time together. He's not a gym rat, but he enjoys the stationary bike, something low-impact to keep him moving. I figured it would be a nice way to bond, especially since he doesn't get many chances to do things like this. But what should have been a routine visit turned into an embarrassing, infuriating ordeal. When we walked in, I explained to the staff that I wanted to get my father-in-law a day pass so he could join me. I don't have a Black Card membership, so I knew he couldn't come in without asking. Instead of accommodating us, the employee at the desk flat-out refused. No explanation, no attempt to find a solution, just a cold, dismissive "No, he can't come in." I tried to reason with him, pointing out that other gyms offer guest passes, but he wouldn't budge. The worst part? The manager was standing right there, watching the whole thing unfold. And did they step in to help? Offer any kind of apology or compromise? No. Nothing. Just indifference. Meanwhile, as we were being turned away, I noticed other members casually walking in without even scanning their app. No questions, no hassle. But for us? For an elderly man who just wanted to ride a bike next to his son-in-law? That was too much to ask. I was furious. This wasn't just bad customer service; it was disrespectful, humiliating, and downright shameful. Is this how Planet Fitness treats people? Especially seniors who just want to stay active? As soon as we left, I called and canceled my membership on the spot. And even then, they made me jump through hoops, forcing me to come back with my ID just to process the cancellation. No remorse, no acknowledgment of how poorly they handled the situation. What a disgrace. A gym that claims to be a "Judgement Free Zone" should practice what it preaches. Instead, they chose to turn away a kind old man who just wanted to spend time with his family. Shame on them. I'll never step foot in that Planet Fitness again, and anyone who values common decency should think twice before supporting a place that treats people this way. read more

This PF is larger than most and the desk staff are pretty cordial. My primary issue is with the customers, many of which are habitually setting up tripods and videoing their workouts. While the "rules" forbid this practice, the staff doesn't enforce unless a formal complaint is made. So your choice is either to be captured on someone else's video each day or to find another gym. Even though this is a complaint about management of the facility, I'm sure the clubs response will be "to reach out to club management" which of course I've already done, thus the complaint. read more

I'm a regular at the Planet Fitness in Plaza Fiesta, but this one opened up and it was a little bit closer to where I live. First off, the place is fantastic. It's huge and there are so many cardio machines there so there will never be a shortage. There is also so much space in between the weight machines so you don't have to worry about awkwardly bumping into your workout neighbor. The locker rooms are really clean with good water pressure in the showers. The only downside is that the AC isn't very strong. After speaking with the staff (who are extremely welcoming!!), they said that they are still currently working on updating the air conditioning unit because it is an old building. That is the only reason why I'm giving it a four out of five stars. Otherwise, once the AC is fixed, I will probably be coming to this location every morning. read more

It's Saturday morning and it's 7:12 Am and no one is here to open the door. There are 20 people waiting outside. This is ridiculous.

By FAR the worse experience! I have been calling since Monday to switch over my home PF location. Young lady on Monday didn't know how to do it. Now today Wednesday 48 hours later I speak with MOD he assured me he'd fix it to give him 10 mins. I'd see it on my app and receive a email. I drive to my PF location a hour later, refused entry because MOD failed to fall thru on his promise. It has now been almost 5 hours. No call back. No update or email. I have called and spoke with Mariah 5 times today. I've been told how busy they are and to drive up there 45-1:17 mins to have my location changed AFTER being promised it would be fixed hours ago. Waste of gas and time. The time spent awaiting an update or at the very least being treated like the rest of the valuable customers I was told they were so busy helping, I could've driven there to cancel membership! Which is terrible because the service today was just that bad that I will be there before the week is over to do so. If my money and service as a customer isn't valued I will go elsewhere read more

I NEVER post business reviews but this planet fitness has sworn be off forever from this fitness brand. The facility is extremely old and equipment is chronically damaged. The staff are unfriendly and rude. Always packed parking and little equipment availability. The worst part? You CANT CANCEL THE CONTRACT, cancellation can't be done over phone text or email. While looking for a new gym closer to home for overnight workouts, I toured this facility. Angel took the time to show me around despite being in the middle of mopping the floor. She was very thorough and answered all my questions. As we visited the spa area she was noticeably educated in all things Wellness, both physical and mental, spending time on the benefits of taking care of yourself before and after the workouts. Her smile and attitude were infectious. I look forward to becoming a new member. read more

How this person has a job is beyond me. She not only refused to transfer my membership to my California location but was also RUDE to the Redwood City, CA Planet Fitness staff - saying "have a nice day" at the end of the call with her. We all just sat there in disbelief. This is is the level of Management that is going on here - OBSURD!! I've tried to cancel this membership numerous times with no luck. Big sign in the mens locker room says no cell phones or pictures in there... a no selfie zone...so for 2 days in a row there is a large african American just sitting there for hours on his phone pointing at the urinals. I told the attendant about it, and he said oh he's probably just on social media. Keep in mind social media include Snapchat and Facebook... When I went back in half hour later not only was he there but there was a guy with an open laptop doing videos with his camera facing towards the urinals again. They might not think that it happens, but people take pictures all the time and post them without peoples knowledge. Who's liable for that? read more

Literally the worst customer service I've ever received by a manager! The representatives are nice and they try. But my issue could only be fixed by a manager. I have been to this location (my home location) several times. I was signed up by a rep here incorrectly for a membership I got from my insurance company. I've called and talked to the desk and the manager said I needed to come up there and he's there until 6 each day. I left work early and came on a Friday and he leaves at 4 they said. I called today and he was out this morning. They took a message and I never got a call back. I come up here randomly and he's here. He asked me the problem multiple times because he's distracted and barely paying me any attention yet I keep explaining it. He seems irritated I asked for help. At this point it should not be so difficult to add an account I created through my insurance company. It should be common enough and if you don't know how ask someone! I don't know if all of the PF's have this issue but I just need my account added properly so that I can visit other locations. Whatever I needed to do that I left work again to do. Yet the manager Damon stayed for 5 minutes and said he needed to leave for a meeting. Had a rep take my info and ran out. And said call at 3:30 today to make sure it's done. What?!?! Horrible service for an issue I've had for 2 months that he said can't be fixed unless I come here when he is here! This is ridiculous and of course no one knows Tiffany the district managers last name or contact info. I just need them to be aware of customer service. Simple things should not be this difficult. I was going to planet fitness Brookehaven in Atlanta and I had to quit going because one of the guys that work there cut the lock on my locker and stole my gym bag. In less than 24hrs. So I paid for the black card membership which is a total waste of money if you plan on using the hydro massager at this location. 4th time I've tried to use it and one is always out of order and people will lay in the beds for 30-45 minutes at a time without getting asked to leave. I just had the person working there start it for me and the lady that was there from the previous massage wouldn't get up and I was left without being able to use it because the staff wouldn't get the person up.
