I joined this location as a PF Black Card member back in August of 2022 mostly because I travel for work and wanted to be able to access a PF when I'm on the road. Despite a couple of periods where there have been issues with broken equipment & the water fountain being down--during which time free bottles of water were available to everyone--I feel it's an excellent value for the money. In addition, it's open 24/7 & they've just upgraded all the cardio machines & added new several pieces of new equipment including 3 multi-function squat racks. I joined PF on Thursday and came to work out on Friday! Since I had to check in to get my card and shirt, I came to the desk. There were two ladies back there. The lady who helped me asked for my size, took my picture and sent me on my way. No tour or anything, but no biggie. I worked out for about an hour and a half. It wasn't too busy in there and I was able to get on the machines I wanted to get on and clean them and move along. I think I will enjoy this location because it is very close to my house! read more

First time working out here! The parking lot can seem a little intimidating because you think the gym is overcrowded...but to my surprise, there were several cardio equipment that was available to use! The weight section was pretty crowded tho. The Lounge area was pretty chili. Super shout outs to everyone I saw cleaning the equipment behind themselves! Especially in the middle of this virus epidemic. Anyway...only gave them 4 starts because the guy at the front gave me a snooty look when I asked for my coins to get my massage. He made me feel like I was doing something wrong. I was like Geesh! So maybe next time I'll ask for them before my workout. Anyway, no harm feelings about that and I will be back. read more

I love this gym! The equipment is new and up to date. I haven't had to wait in line for any cardio equipment yet. My favorite thing is the circuit training. They have several times throughout the week, but my most convenient time is Saturday morning. A professional trainer guides a group of us through strength, burn, and core exercises. If you're unable to do an exercise, he will give you something similar to do The staff is super nice and helpful. I highly recommend downloading the app. Your sign in card is on it, and you can also see the session times you can sign up for. The cost is good as well. Regular is $10 a month and the Black card is $20 a month. You can go to other gyms with the black card, bring a guest, and use the message and tanning services. They have seasonal offers where you can join for no money down. read more

Well, my experience got off to a rough start but they are recovering lol. I purchased my membership online due to a special they had. Of course the emails and promo info asks that you download the app. Well, you can't use the app without going in to get your key fob. No big deal right? Except it was a few days before I could make it in due to my schedule They wouldn't give me the schedule over the phone since it's ON THE APP so setting an appointment to create my own routine or even have a tour of the facility was impossible. I finally made it in and the girl couldn't find my membership. I spelled my name twice and gave her my id... nothing. I pulled up the agreement and watched her as she looked at the screen, looked at my ID then me... did she really just misspell my name multiple times!? OMG! She gave me the key fob and new member black card goodie bag then sent me on my way. But honey...where's the locker room!? Wheres the tanning bed and hydro massage chairs!? Where's the elliptical etc!? Double OMG! I used the treadmill for two days until the membership uploaded to the app where I could see their sessions since, you guessed it, she didn't even give me a calendar to check their sessions either. I made my appointments to create a workout and have a new member tour. The trainer was friendly, very helpful and realistic because he did not give me a routine that's 5-6 days. He listened to my hectic schedule and made it work. He still, however, didn't show me the amenities. I give up. I got my routine and that's all I want. I'd love to tan and sit in the hydro chair but it seems that when you ask the staff, they think you're supposed to know and aren't much help. Additionally, if you go in at 9pm which is my free time, it's CLUB PF! They're socializing hogging the weights and you can't get through since not everyone is comfortable interrupting a bro moment with the homies to change weights around. My advice, pick another gym with better amenities and better staff if you're looking for help. read more

I was a member for a few years, however decided to move out of state. Came back to cancel my membership only to find out 2 days later they charged my annual membership fee. I emailed and no response, I called and the young Lady on the phone was not very customer friendly, when she didn't feel like talking to me anymore she passed me on to someone else without a notice! Not sure why they charge an annual fee for the upcoming year when someone isn't a member anymore! I won't be signing up with them again! read more

This location created a second membership that was never signed for and billed us fraudulently. The manager, Jay, admitted this and has not fixed. They are dishonest and do not care about customer service. read more

The gym is not bad, they really need more free weights but other than that it is not horrible. The staff is friendly and helpful my only complaint is the bathroom is disgusting, it doesn't really look like anyone cleans it. Other than that the gym is fine read more

Great gym to join ! Friendly staff and clean environment to workout! I've a member of Planet Fitness on Clemson rd for awhile now and I can say I enjoy going in knowing that I feel safe in " my home gym" I like to workout in the am so I got to know the morning staff . Always friendly and knowledgeable if I have any questions in regards to the gym or equipment! Especially Roshawn, he does an awesome job catering to the members , great customer service! This gym is very convenient and prices seem good. I like the 24/7 hours of business. I like how you can quickly check in. The equipment is good. I wish they had the other club stuff like swimming pool, spa, racquetball court, etc. But maybe they purposely left those out. I am sure prices will go up if they get that stuff which is understandable. I do recommend people to go to this gym. read more

I've gone to this gym for six years. I had a problem with a new manager. Planet Fitness has a problem keeping managers, staff, and trainers. Over the years I have always encountered new management with out a problem. This new manager told me I couldn't bring my gym bag in anymore. I explained to him that I've done this for six years. I just found out today that my gym membership at Planet Fitnesses was revoked a month ago. This is how insane this place is. I've been using the gym this last month yet my privileges were revoked a month ago. I had no knowledge of this what so ever. One day I was having a conversation about my gym bag a month later I find out that my gym membership was canceled. The manager has seen me at Planet Fitness since he revoked my gym membership. I've tried to talk to the regional manager but have not heard back from her. I guess this must be a new business model for Planet Fitness. I've never caused any problems at Planet Fitness. I didn't even get to say goodbye to my friends there. This has been very disappointing and not a good way to treat a customer.. read more
