My only motivation to go to the gym was my own will to go. For most of us, that's not much and becomes less of an urge and priority over time. At MFS I began taking Real Ryder cycle classes. I loved the personal vibe of the class, that the instructor greeted everyone by name and introduced herself to me, showed me how to use the bike, introduced me to the class, etc. I worried that it being a small gym I'd feel excluded because everyone knew each other. That wasn't the case; instructor was attentive, the music was great, and the environment was positive and encouraging. I couldn't wait to come back. Now I take cycling and their fitness classes and let me just say, on days I'm feeling lethargic or lazy, I go to the gym anyway because I love the instructors so much. The owner of the gym takes the classes with you, all the staff greet you by name, instructors accommodate your instruction based off injuries/ability, etc. I feel like I'm getting personalized training from a friend every time I go. I've never had a bad experience, I look forward to going, and as a result, my body looks great and I'm in the best health I've been in a while, and I have an amazing time doing it. Donna, the owner, has a special place in my heart for being such a kind-hearted business owner, and the staff there are absolutely lovely. I'd recommend this gym to everyone - it can't hurt to try, and I guarantee you'll be back.

This is NOT a gym. Its a training facility. There are personal trainers who will work with you to…read moremeet your goals. We have been working with one trainer, Patrick, for years so when he moved here a few years back, we moved with him. As for the facility itself, it is such a relief to go to a "gym" where the staff is constantly cleaning!!! And disinfectant is readily available after your training session. Plenty of equipment for all your needs. Whether you are a novice or training for a competition, you will find the right tools to help you with your goals. Now, as it is a training gym, you have to sign up with a trainer. I would recommend talking with a few and see which one best fits your needs, budget and your schedule. Also, you may want to sit in and maybe see a few trainers at work. Again, Patrick is our guy. While he previously helped me maintain a healthy body, he has repeatedly helped me rehab from surgery and injuries. Just this year I was diagnosed with a frozen shoulder. After weeks of professional therapy I finally went back to work with Patrick. His sports background and muscle/bone knowledge helped him create a custom routine for me. By the time I went back to see my physical therapist I was raising by "frozen" hand and amazed my therapist at the amount of progress made in a few weeks. Yeah, pretty amazing!! There are showers for those who need to go to work after their workout and seats for waiting if you arrive early, though your trainer will probably recommend you roll out or warm up to maximize your workout. Oh, and there are a few staff trainers as well as other independent trainers you can work with. Absolutely no reason why you can't find a perfect trainer at the perfect location!

I contacted Chris at Atlas in regards to a personal trainer who I paid for sessions with, who was…read morethen terminated from the gym. I had contacted the trainer and received no reply, and so I finally reached out and left a message for the staff at Atlas. Chris's wife reached out that night and I was very impressed that they were so quick, she gave me Chris's number and said to reach out to him to get everything figured out. I messaged Chris the next day to see how they can help, per the phone conversation the night before. I sent him all of my text messages showing the personal trainer cancelling, schedule that was supposed to happen, and amount that I paid to this trainer. He said that he would talk to his guys to see about working something out since I paid and received a quarter of the training promised. The discussion with Chris happened on January 7th, I reached back out January 22nd to check in and heard nothing. It is now January 28th and it is silent. I have not received a refund or any makeup sessions with a different trainer as discussed. I am very reasonable and willing to work things out with what they can do to help me, but I am disappointed that I received no update and no messages back on this subject. At the very minimum, I expect to receive an answer - my advice, spend your hard earned money at a gym that actually follows up, cares about clients that come to their facility, and doesn't hire people who can't be trusted.

They offer 3 free sessions, but I only needed needed one to convince myself that full body EMS is very beneficial to someone like me! I ended up purchasing an Ohm at home suit, which is very easy to operate, via the Ohm fitness at home app. I have a lot of muscle atrophy from my stroke and EMS really gets the blood flowing to these muscles. It's been about 2 months of workouts and there are signs of progress. I highly recommend Ohm Fitness to Seniors and especially those that have disabilities. You are not lifting heavy weight , but you do have to do the work. You could do almost nothing, but your improvements will take longer. If you choose the Red Mountain location, you will find a well organized site, staffed with very helpful and friendly people, along with knowledgeable instructors.

They are very helpful and make sure you're doing the exercises correctly. They also change it up all the time so that you're not bored or doing the same thing over and over. It's a good HIIT workout, and I always burn at least 300 calories in the 40 minutes of exercise, which is great by my standards. I would have given this place 5 stars, but then something happened (I thought about 3 stars but thats not fair to the rest of the employees). Toward the end of my 2 week trial, I took a look at my finances and even with the discount, it just wasn't doable. This place is expensive (more than other HIIT gyms Ive been to in the past) and being that I am not rich, I just can't make it work with upcoming bills, car repairs and everything else I have going on. When I called and spoke to Sunny, I explained to her that I unfortunately needed to cancel for now. She asked for any feedback for the program and I told her LOVE the classes, but I just can't afford it. She then said, in an incredibly rude tone, "did you know that before you signed up to take our free classes or did you just figure that out now?" Honestly I was shocked. It was so rude, it really hurt my feelings and it felt like she was accusing me of being a scammer or something. I would hate for anyone else to feel this way should they have to cancel. Also because of this I will not ever return, even if I could afford it. It was unbelievably rude. I shouldn't be made to feel bad for giving something a shot and just not being able to afford it. I cried and hobbled to my truck and drove myself to the hospital. I am still traumatized by this and to this day they will not allow me out of my membership and try to charge my account even though I am unemployed and pregnant. I would not recommend this gym to anyone. I would give zero stars if it were an option and moving forward I hope they handle these situations with more care which is why I'm speaking out.
