I went to Altas in Chandler and if I return I will use someone other than this outfit. Please note, most of my missed sections were not my Doctors appointments and if they were you billed me for sessions that were canceled by myself or the trainer themselves. And as far as measurements and weight ins that's all in your sales pitch so please don't go there. I had four trainers in a years time and you forced the third one on me saying Dom wasn't responsible enough or capable of showing up and took too much time off. Let's talk negative reviews all are legitimate or they wouldn't be posted. I paid the window company sixty grand out of pocket no financing like you were payed they stink when it comes to customer service. The painting contractors got paid and didn't do a good job. I give credit where credit is do and you personally made promises you didn't keep. Your response is not truthful but nice cover up! Oh and the trainers are 1099 self employed contractors you can legally pay them as contractors if you lock them into a contract. I showed Matt that he had the upper hand in his leaving your company. He gives false promise and cheat people by taking their money and start ignoring calls and messages once he got the money . I recommend that anyone considering signing up ask for the full written contract and not rely on verbal assurances. I do not recommend anyone to join this place . One morning I was taking my 2-year-old to the Kid Zone when he urgently needed to use the restroom. We were clearly in a rush, but the front desk employee stopped me and insisted I scan a QR code before letting us pass. The interaction felt unnecessarily strict and passive-aggressive. If I didn't have a membership, I wouldn't even be able to use the Kid Zone, so the situation could have been handled with a little more understanding given that I was trying to help my child get to the restroom. What made the experience worse was the tone. It felt like a scene was made in front of my child over something that could have been handled calmly and quickly. For a gym that charges close to $50 a month, I would expect a higher level of customer service and basic courtesy. I spoke with someone at the register afterward and was told the manager would be informed, but it has been over two weeks and I haven't received any follow-up or apology. Between that experience and the already high membership price (especially considering the sauna often smells unpleasant), I decided to cancel my membership. I'm very disappointed and will be going to a different gym moving forward. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this location based on my experience.

This one is not well managed. My daughter was given bad instructions for closing her account, and…read morethought she closed it late last year. At the same time, she moved her bank account. What she didn't realize is that their policy is to charge a $20 fee for every month they have to charge you backup credit card. That's a $20 penalty on a membership that costs $25 a month (almost 100% penalty). And they don't notify you they are doing it. Not one email. We just discovered it after getting hit with bogus gym fees and the ridiculous penalty for six months. We talked to a manager. Not only would they not credit back any of the penalty fees, they wouldn't even credit back the month fee and penalty they charged YESTERDAY for the coming month. Despite the fact she'd not even set foot in the gym for more than six months. We even contacted corporate, which said it's an independently owned and managed gym and they couldn't do anything about it. Despite their brand being tarnished. They'll be losing two more memberships when my wife and I cancel our memberships and move to a gym with less onerous policies and better management who care about loyalty and fairness. (And hey Planet Fitness Corporate, we won't be moving to a different franchisee of Planet Fitness....we are done with ALL Planet Fitnesses because of this one franchise's poor business ethics and policies.)
