Great gym, great equipment, great staff. Been a member for 4 years or so. Lots of equipment which is overall well maintained. Entire facility is very clean. Lots of options for every type of workout. The price is the best i could find for any gym in this part of town and you get quite a bit of bang for that buck. Multiple rows of cardio machines, tons of free weights, and every machine you could want. Love the theater. Special shout out to the front desk crew (especially Avounay) - they make dragging myself to the gym in the morning tolerable and never miss a friendly hi/bye. read more

My sons went into EōS Fitness, Chandler (Gilbert Rd & Germann Rd) to sign up, and what should have been a simple process turned into a frustrating and inappropriate experience. While they were at the front desk, I was on the phone with the employee assisting them, Gideon. Instead of clearly explaining policies, he questioned a legal guardianship situation and actually asked me, "Aren't you the parent?" and challenged how an 18-year-old could be a legal guardian. That is completely out of line. There are many legitimate situations where a guardian is not a parent including serious circumstances like terminal illness. It is not a front desk employee's place to question or challenge that over the phone or at all. Rather than providing clear guidance, Gideon gave inconsistent and confusing information about minor memberships and guest policies. The situation was then steered into requiring two separate memberships one for the 18-year-old and one for the 15-year-old which was not clearly explained upfront. This felt like unnecessary upselling driven by confusion rather than transparency. What should have been a straightforward signup became stressful and uncomfortable for both of my kids. Instead of escalating to a manager or handling it professionally, the situation was made worse. I would not recommend this location. If your situation is anything outside of a basic setup, expect confusion, pressure to purchase more than necessary, and a lack of professionalism. read more

Terrible front desk. Dude with the tattoos and the short Latina girl working the scanner at an EOS for 75 cents above minimum wage acting like they are earning $150/hr. Absolutely terrible service from these 2 individuals, and extremely entitled. Especially Mr. Tattoos, pushing 35, screaming at children to put their shoes on before they enter the gym. I have never had to write a review before, but this has to be the worst front desk out of any gym in the Chandler area. read more

They have terrible business practice. I was sold a membership with discount rate they said because I am a member of United Health Advantage Plan (for seniors). The salesman informed me that I had no contractural agreement and I could cancel anytime. I canceled the membership before one month was up because the gym simply didn't for me. Worked out-4.13.25: I come to this gym when I'm on this side of town. It's a small no frills gym but has everything needed to include a pool & fitness classes. As always have a plan so if the weights or machine you need are occupied (which happens more often in smaller gyms) you'll be able to find an alternate. read more

When I signed up, I was told a myriad of things that turned out to not be true. Including: that I could downgrade my membership any time, that's false. I discovered I'll be charged a $50 fee to downgrade in the first six months. I was told I could change my membership online or on the app. False. I had to drive to the gym to discuss. I specifically asked when signing up if the gym is busy at 7:30am, when I have been going to the gym for years. I was told it's pretty dead at that time. False. It is so busy you have to wait for benches to open up, smith machines to open up, and much of the equipment...forget about it. You're waiting for it. I was told the personal training was for 2 sessions at $19, and if I wanted to cancel I could. False. When I met with the trainer they said I am required to do four sessions & cannot cancel. My first training session was supposed to be with a guy named John (I think). That week I was told he's no longer with EOS, so I'd have to use another trainer. They put me with Jacob. He had to cancel my first session because he was cutting weight for a competition and didn't feel well. When I met with Jacob, I asked if I could cancel after the two sessions for $19, he said unfortunately I was down for four total sessions & couldn't cancel until those have been met. Then the next two sessions with him, he showed up late to both. My time is worth a lot, and I always show up early...one of my least favorite things on the planet is folks showing up late and wasting my time. Was informed today that Jacob is no longer with EOS. I said I'd like to cancel the personal training since it's been an abject failure, I was told I can't and I have EIGHT sessions I committed to (not the two I was told by the salesman, not the four Jacob told me.) I communicated with the Personal Training Manager, Nicole Caviedes, via email and she agreed that I was misinformed and would cancel my PT sessions, and then for some reason directed me to go to the website to cancel. I already knew that wasn't going to work, and sure enough I got an email that I can't cancel. I informed her and she said yeah it looks like you can't cancel but I can get you some free sessions added. I DON'T WANT YOUR PT SESSIONS!!!! These folks ABSOLUTELY lie to get you to sign up. The gym is overcrowded, very worn equipment, & worst of all the sales guys cannot be trusted. read more

Updating my review because the fitness manager went above and beyond to rectify our situation. Very thankful for her understanding terms were not clearly explained when getting a signature on a long term financial commitment. It means a lot when companies can do the right thing to fix a situation, we are thankful! The facilities at EOS are clean and well maintained. There is so much offered for the monthly rate. The front desk staff at this location is just phenomenal, a big change from years past (although I do miss Brooke I from a couple years ago). Ryan and Brian in particular have been courteous, kind and super helpful with my questions. Whatever management is doing, keep it up! So I started coming here a couple weeks ago. I'm a returning member to EOS. I went to another gym that was less expensive and it was seriously hard for me to attend. It just didn't feel like a real gym. So I'm back at EOS, new location for me, it's in S Gilbert, previously went to the location on Val Vista. It's worth spending the extra money! This one's set up a lot better in my opinion. What I didn't expect is to see some of the staff from the Val Vista location here. So unprofessional in her delivery and no where in your policy does it say "no converse". Very disappointed with EOS Chandler (Gilbert & Ocotillo). I referred a friend who was pressured into a $600 training package after being told she could cancel within 3 days after her first session. She followed that exactly--but was later told the cancellation window started from the sign-up date instead. This was never communicated. Despite the Fitness Manager Trevor Lampson admitting the miscommunication, EOS refused to cancel the contract. Now she's stuck paying for something she never wanted. Honestly you can't trust any of these people. You have them lying, cheating, and wasting your time. You have incompetent kids that have no experience at all in life much less in a work environment. And if they do have older workers there they lack the work ethic just like the kids. Managers don't care and talk behind customers back once gone or in the office. Customer service is weak, rude, unexperienced and unprofessional. Most of them are racist or only pay attention to what they consider good looking people. Chain stores are a pyramid scheme! Also it is always jammed packed and I'm 110% sure that most of those kids taking up space don't have memberships just clowning around wasting time taking up machines and space while people who are actually there to wok out must wait on these entitled kids. Change the culture make a difference do your job correctly check to see who has memberships and regulate time on space and machines if they're just talking and playing on their phones. And this goes for all EOS I've been to 3 different ones cause I can't find one where I feel comfortable and welcomed and are able to get a great workout with a reasonable time! read more

They charged me ridiculous hidden fees. I signed up and was planning on only going for about 4 months until I moved out of the state but after my first month I saw that they were trying to charge me 85$ for a month of my membership when it was only supposed to be about 22$ a month. When I went to talk with the staff they said it was a fee that they had to do for legal reasons that everyone has to pay. This fee of course didn't come up when I explicitly asked them about what amount I was going to be charged over the course of my few months of membership. I canceled my membership and still have to pay the 85$ for another month at this horrific gym. I would never recommend a place like this to anyone trying to go to the gym and almost everyone I've talked to absolutely despises predatory chains like EOS. Please just go to the tumbleweed rec center instead it's way cheaper or some other gym. read more

2 out of the 4 stationary bikes they provide need maintenance. Grinding of the chain or something prevents smooth pedaling. I made an employee aware while he was playing clash of clans on his phone but was unable to stop playing his game to do anything about the problem. No out of service signs put on bikes and I'm sure a maintenance request wasn't put out. read more

I like the hours & the machines they have but other than that not a fan. Signing up I was pretty excited. They won't tell you but you do get a 1 hour welcome workout. They push sales and yes I signed up for personal training. They told me I could work out during the afternoon because of my arthritis flare ups it's the best time for me. After already paying 150. They said there was no openings except early morning and it was up to my trainer "if he wanted to open his schedule". The guy I thought would be training me would actually not be training me. Later I found out I should have been offered a 1 hour welcome workout which I wasn't. There's a lot of inconsistencies and they make it difficult to cancel. I called the very next day and the guy told me he canceled it. I also did a cancel through the site. I was sent a update about the personal training appointment I called the service line they said it was active & the front desk said it was frozen. I called today and Kristen got everything squared away finally. The front desk staff are pretty nice and welcoming when you come in. It's always bright inside. The water fountains are warm so fill your cup with ice coming in. This location has a coed sauna which is different. It does have a pool a variety of machines and a cinema which I like. You do have to bring a lock for the lockers in the locker room. read more

After numerous complaints the faulty sauna has fallen on def ears of the staff. The sauna is always at 115-130 degrees (far below temp needed for the health benefits) or it's inoperable all together, like that last two days, photos attached Temps should be up to 200 degrees for max benefits image attached The eos fitness in Vegas that I often visit is always in the correct range read more

I had signed up for a basic membership and was going to start my workout today, but now I don't want to even go to that facility. I'm going to look at other gyms and may cancel. These people will bully you and pressure you into signing up for upsells that they do not clarify. They do not let you see what your are signing up for and just say that it is "general logistical stuff". I came in to the Gilbert and Ocotillo location so to sign up for a Basic program. They lied to me and said that I could try a personal trainer without commitments. I told them that I couldnt afford it which is when they offered the trial sessions. Instead they made me sign up for a 6 month program that they did not show me or clarify for me. When I tried to cancel, I was told by the Personal Training Manager that was there today that I was a "grown-a** man who can make his own choices" and "should have read more carefully when signing up". I stated that I was not given an opportunity to look at what I was signing for, so I was under the impression that I was signing up for a trial as I was told and he told me that they don't offer that. But many people have had the same thing happen. They do not put the consumer first. This is obvious by their many complaints that state the exact same thing. (Check the Better Business Bureau) Their business is to lie, manipulate and bully you so that they can make commission off of your ignorance. They will claim that the contract was read to you when they DO NOT READ IT OR SEND YOU WITH IT!!! DO NOT ATTEND THIS GYM! Took a tour of this place and was reminded why I go to Planet Fitness. Granted, they do have a lot of equipment. However, the gentleman giving the tour was incredibly snobbish and egotistical-- not exactly a welcoming atmosphere between that and the thousand muscleheads grunting and giving looks.
