Most of the morning staff with a couple of exceptions are pretty unfriendly, especially Nicole the manager who is CONSTANTLY on her phone and usually with her back turned to the desk and gym. Also the paper towel dispensers are almost always empty, and for long periods of time. That is unacceptable. The layout is good overall as is the price, so it's still worth it. Let's talk about how immature and inappropriate the so called manager Nicole is! This young 20 something girl can care less about when customers complain about how hot she keeps this club! Her own employees tell her regularly to keep it more comfortable for customers to which she can care less! She also makes faces and has her personal friends make comments when I've walked in the door!! I've made two complaints to the head manager Ivan with no response. I've recently heard the assistant manager has stepped down due to not wanting to deal with this girl! She also is constantly running space heaters to increase the temperature! The gym is really clean and the staff is very friendly. I really like the girls in the morning they are very nice. The only issue I'm having is with the manager. First I would expect that all staff would have good hygiene but Nicole the manager smell like she has never touched a shower. Second she is very rude when dealing with customers and gives everyone coming in to workout a judgmental look. read more

I wanted to thank the Glenview team and recognize them even though I go to various locations depending on whether I am choosing to work out after work or when visiting family other areas. Since I have started working out, all the areas I have used have been clean, especially the female locker room. Cleanliness and hygiene are important to me and I am so happy the Glenview team makes this a priority. A special mention to the team who kept my winter jacket safe in the lost and found until I could return to pick it up! I won't hesitate to return to this location :) read more

BIG BIG BIG thank you to Noam and Will for helping me out and being great! I'm still figuring out how to join the email list and turn on notifications, however I still wanted to put this review out here so that they get some recognition! I accidentally dropped my AirPods case and a very meaningful necklace in the stair master and they landed in a very difficult spot where you could not get it from the bottom or through the top of the machine. But Noam and Will were able to get my belongings back to me! It was definitely not an easy job and I thought I would just have to come back for my things a different day, but they kept trying and I really really appreciate it. This experience really helped set Planet Fitness apart from other gyms I have been to! read more

I saw an inexperienced person at your Lincolnwood location attempting to do a calve raise on one of the smith racks poor bastard rolled his ankle. How about a plate loaded squat unit? 2 types of leg press? A little redundant no? Do I need to go into detail why? These are just a few basic items every fitness facility should have. I've been to around 9-10 other Planet Fitnesses in the area and the Glenview gym is by far the best one in terms of size and cleanliness.

When this gym first opened up, I loved it because it was relatively close, open late, great monthly rate and close to other places I frequent. Then they decided to change the hours, despite advertising that the place was open 24/7. But I was able to comprehend and accept that they needed to do so given that clients were not coming in after a certain time. I love the date they implemented to come to this conclusion, and I saw it for myself. However, the newest is that all students that attend district 225 schools are allowed to exercise FREE of charge. So let me get this right, adults that work and have paid since this place opened up must continue to pay. Yet teenagers are allowed to use the facility for FREE? This place has turned into a hangout for these teenagers, and frankly my days there are numbered. I will Find another place soon and after speaking with other adults, they will be doing the same. read more

When PF initially opened, it was 24/7 which I really enjoyed. Then over that past few years, it has changed completely. It's not 24/7, it has limited hours during the week and weekends. Now come to find out, the franchise owner has limited Black Card members to 10 visits a month if your home membership is not with the same franchise. My home membership is Deerfield b/c they are 24/7 except for Friday & Saturday. It's disappointing and I hope either they make adjustments to non-franchise members but worst business is so bad that it will need to close. (Sorry!) read more

"DIFFICULT FOR NO REASON." This was the last comment that the front desk guy threw at me when I left the gym today because I was not ready to give my information for guest registration yet. Planet Fitness, I was pretty sure I was going to sign up tonight but you lost me as a customer. I was so excited about this location because it's so close to my home so I went in for a quick tour. Because I already had an experience with Planet Fitness, I just wanted to do a quick tour to see how this location looked like. The front desk guy was friendly first, but despite my request to do just a quick tour, he insisted on showing me the black card massage room explaining all the unnecessary amenities I didn't want. I get it, you have to sell so I understand. After doing a quick 5 min tour, I asked some questions about membership. Everything was fine until he said I need to sign a liability form after I'm done with the tour. He should've informed me before I went around if this was the case. I also found out that the form was actually a guest registration form, not a liability form, where I need to put all my contact information. I didn't want to sign up yet so I request if I can sign up tonight after thinking about it. After going back and forth, he said, "Fine, you do whatever you want." As I pulled the door, I EXACTLY remember what he said, which was "DIFFICULT FOR NO REASON." I was so furious that I came back to him for a clarification, and he changed his words by saying "I just had a difficult day." It's one thing to have a difficult day, but it's another thing to say negative things about your potential customers when they can hear you. That was my first and last impression of this location. I can clearly see that I'm not welcomed here with this attitude from the front desk guy. I'm not coming back. read more

Was excited that this new location had a larger floor space to do ab workouts but after having two bad experiences I won't be heading back... I always bring my own yoga mat to the gym and I've been to maybe 6 different planet fitness locations and have never had a problem. For some reason the staff/ manager at this particular location bans all personal equipment due to liability? I'm not sure about everyone else but the mats provided are short, thin, and gross since not everyone cleans them throughly so I'm not sure why bringing my own is such a huge issue. Needless to say I won't be coming back and was definitely disappointed with the inconsistent and made up rules this franchise has. read more

Boycott this facility. This is the second time we have been verbally abused by your manager in Glenview Illinois, Anthony. This time after being aggressive and rude to me, my wife and son, as we were leaving he started yelling threats and taunts as we left the building. We asked him to stop and he continued. I asked over and over to talk to his manager and his response was " I am the only manager of this entire gym, you can't talk to anyone else. He is unprofessional and borderline dangerous. He scared my son and my wife, yelling at us as we tried to leave. The salespeople lie about membership benefits and then the managers shrug and don't take accountability. There are much better options on the North Shore. read more

I love this gym. I've gone to other gyms (LA fitness, crunch, ect) and they just don't compare to this one. The facility is huge, plenty of machines and so clean. It is also so affordable. Every time I walk in the morning, the front desk people are always so friendly. Especially whoever works the front desk at 6:00am-whoever works it at 7am. I can't recommend this gym but also this location enough! read more
