Love this location in the evening they have plenty clean Equipment and very courteous staff! The GM Kyre ( I maybe mistaken) was super helpful kind and professional. I wanted the massage chair but he recommended the new hydro chair and I've never felt better after a hard workout after work. I try to go to a gym on my route home so it helps that it clean updated and great employees!!! I was so inspired to do my cardio today they have this donation per mile thing going on for Valentine's Day which made it a lil fun and motivating. I will never do business with Planet Fitness again. Firstly...many members do NOT wipe down the equipment when they are finished and the employees don't seem to care or do anything about it. They don't have enough stations with cleaning fluid and paper towels. Secondly...I have undergone circumstances which cause me to have to cancel my membership. Planet Fitness does not have a "Click to Cancel" option on either their app or their website. They will NOT allow you to cancel over the phone. Customer Service is a joke and very snotty to boot. So, ultimately, they are going to make me drive to this location, pay $15 which I shouldn't owe since I was unable to cancel in a timely manner due to their not offering an easy option to cancel on-line or via the app - THEN they will cancel my membership. I, for one, will never join a Planet Fitness for as long as I live. read more

I think the planet fitness is great. My home location is the one on 86th as it's about 5 minutes away from my house. Some of the machines are kind of old but I never have to wait for something, even if I'm there at the busiest times. The gym is currently under construction and has been for quite a while. I'm sure it'll be beautiful when it's done! The staff is really nice. They Always smile and say hi when I walk in and they always say bye when I leave. First off- the manager Kiyre is super helpful and responsive. They have had issues with staffing making it difficult to keep it open on the days it is supposed to be open 24/7. Kiyre has been really communicative and kept me updated while they try to hire more staff. Second- the facility is really clean. I see staff cleaning all of the time and making sure the place looks great. Third- the staff are friendly and helpful. Finally- the place has plenty of equipment, particularly cardio machines. read more

I have been a member of "Planet Fitness" for almost 6 years but among the ones in town this the one I pick most of the time. The location is great, it has a dollar tree store next to it, a couple of grocery stores nearby so makes it convenient to do your exercise and run some errands afterwards. The staff is very friendly and all the equipment is very clean and working excellent, however due to the current situation most of the cardio equipment has a tag to prevent you from using it to enforce the social distancing leaving about 12 treadmills and elliptical machines to use at the same time and a few bikes. There are no restrictions for the rest of the equipment so once you're done with cardio you're free to use the rest of the gym. Now, I'm not sure how many people can be fit at the same time but during last week I went there around 6:30 pm and I had to wait outside as they reached their limit. I wonder if in the near future due to this pandemic we would have to schedule our exercise times, which might not be a very bad idea because even when I was allowed inside I had to wait to use a treadmill. The only thing I can't believe is why don't they have a scale to use??? It would be great to keep up with your goals. Anyway, keep up with the good work PF! read more

Honestly I think all PF are about the same. Same equipment. The only thing I use is the treadmill which was my only reason for signing up so I could train for a half marathon. Thankful they do not have a contract for this reason!!! My new found love are the hydromassage lounge chairs! They do not have these at the other location I go to most often! and even better the staff allowed me to go an additional 10 minutes which I thought was very nice. read more

THIS IS A SCAM This is not a cheaper option for a gym membership. I enrolled Oct 19 2023. I attempted to cancel Nov 30 2023. 42 days of membership. Online policy states an $49 annual fee will be deducted 8 weeks into membership. I am being charged for the annual fee. For 42 days of membership, I am being charged over $100. I called twice and emailed the regional director. They refuse to refund the charges. I understand why there is an annual fee. I do not believe that those that sample out the gym and cancel after less than two months should be subject to the annual fee. Read the fine print. Additionally, of the five times I went into the gym, only two times was the front desk manned. Once I wanted to buy a drink after working out, and no one was at the front desk for 10 minutes. If you want a gym membership, I recommend the Y. Staff are kind and understanding and helpful! If you are going to end up spending the same amount of money in the end, go to a gym that cares. read more

worst gym ever horrible experience the staff talk about other employees. this one manager names Moe is always harassing female employees and whenever I had a issue and try to fix it at the front desk I would be interrupted with moe speaking to other members instead of helping me, mind you he was also speaking on the phone to he said his "wife". so unprofessional It took over 30 mins to resolve a simple issue. My friends were making fun of me because I'm a serial PF visitor. I've actually worked out at least 4 to 5 PF centers in the area...because of this, I would say this new PF on Keystone is by far my favorite location. What sets this location apart from other locations...Synergy 360. This is a station that is part workout part TRX. It has ropes, TRX, trampoline ball, pull-up station, kettle bells...basically a person can spend two hours in 1 spot and work out every part of your body. Its a Life Fitness equipment so you would need to scan their QR code to get an idea of how to use each of the things (for lack of a better word) on each station. Often times to get the slam ball, ropes and TRX a person would have to join another fitness class or center...but with Synergy 360 one can get those workouts in and still lift at PF and utilize the rest of PF without having to join another club. The Keystone road location is also nice because it has hydro massage chairs...OMG..I love these...it helps because my back arches a lot so the hydro table doesn't always help..the hydro chair reaches the area of my back that the hydro table doesn't. Overall, the Keystone location is a nice step up when dealing with Planet Fitness. read more

I was in the area and wanted to workout so I looked up the closest to me. This location was okay. The two workers didn't seem too interested in greeting me. It was later in the evening but I still think it's nice to be greeted pleasantly when you walk in. The lighting here was more fluorescent and really hurt my head. It was more like spot lights around rather than the place just being lit up everywhere. So it would be dark some parts of the gym and super bright others. I didn't really like that. They did have a great selection of weight lifting machines. There were different ones than the usual Planet Fitness I go to. So that was a nice change. They also were playing like hardcore metal music. I really wasn't feeling the music or lights. Just not my style. read more

Why does this gym claim to be open 24 hours when they are constantly closed overnight? The only free time I have to work out is around 2 am & I've lost track of how many times I've showed up & the gym is closed with a sign on the door apologizing for the "inconvenience". Is this supposed to be good business practice? Promising something you have no intention of upholding? That's completely unacceptable. Not to mention the fact that if your employees can't be responsible then the onus falls to the management to make sure the facility is open during the hours promised. The only saving grace is there's a new Crunch down the street that is now open 24 hours so hopefully they can keep their promises. read more

I've been going to this Planet Fitness location for years and it's pretty great. There are occasional problems with equipment not being fixed in a timely manner, but it's generally very clean and well-maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful, and it's not too busy, even during after-work prime time. My only real complaint is the televisions: I don't want to see FOX NEWS or CNN while I'm working out, but it's hard to avoid in the cardio area. Fine if it's an option for the people who are in to it, but they have like every other set tuned to a gross biased news channel. Kind of divisive for a place that prides itself on inclusiveness. Covid-19 Rip Off! I had Covid19 in March. I called then to cancel my membership. I was told " No Problem." Only to find yesterday they charged my card July 2ND. I spoke with Heather Lawson yesterday. I kindly asked her over and over to credit my card. She said she would need " Proof" that I had Covid. I have two Doctors documentation, but seriously??? I've been a member there for four years. The service at the front desk is unacceptable beyond words. Customer Service training would be beneficial. The personal trainer all she did was complain about how poorly she was paid and how badly the benefits and pay were for the employees. Not a great Plant Fitness location. They have a lot of things to improve. I've been going to this location for about three years since I moved to this neighborhood and have been to about 4 other PF locations since I started my membership years ago. This gym on N Keystone ALWAYS has broken machines, usually 3-5 at a time. The water bottle fill station was busted for about 4 months straight, was finally fixed and then broke again. The hand sanitizer stations and paper towel are empty quite often and you have to walk across the gym to find one that is not empty sometime because they don't refill often enough and the staff is almost always just standing at the front desk talking. I'm so in love with this Planet Fitness location! I've been a black card member for a little over a year now, and I've never taken advantage of being able to visit other locations until now. So glad I did! Right away I noticed that it was much larger and more spacious than my location. There's more equipment which means better access to the stuff you need quickly. A few things really set this one apart in my opinion. The addition of a 12 minute ab room, much like their 30 minute circuit training room, the TRX machine with the ropes, kettlebells, and other exercises built in, and the addition of the hydrochair. The hydrochair is your reward for making it to the gym. 10 minutes of massage bliss on a chaise-like hydro bed. I promise the only thing that could make that experience better would be a glass of wine! read more

I normally frequent the Shadeland location, and as a "black card member" I still can. But this location is closer to my home, so I wanted to check it out. First things first, WOW! The space is amaz-balls!!! There is soooo much room inside, and it's more conducive to my type of work out. I love the 12 minute ab room, and also the 30 minute circuit room. These 2 rooms function on a "stop light" system where the green light means "workout" and the red light means transition to the next machine. The machines are numbered for ease, and I think this is simply ingenious! I have the ability to hit all of my major muscle groups without thinking because it's already set up for me. And lastly, the space is quiet and clean. I'm not sure if that is because it's still new, but I love it! So I have officially transferred my membership to this location. read more

At first glance, it seems like a nice gym. However, the facilities are rarely maintained to an appropriate level. Multiple cleaning stations are always out of paper towel, cleaning solution, or hand sanitizer. Equipment is constantly broken or out of order. They rarely replaced damaged items. The only drinking fountain has broken multiple times and typically is out for a month or more. Staff is normally standing around at the front rarely cleaning or restocking items. read more

This Planet Fitness is by far the most outdated, and dirtiest gym. Equipment is always dirty hardly looks like the employees do their job at keeping the place clean. The machines in the gym are long overdue to be updated and there is not much variety either.The massage rooms are also outdated and dirty. A great addition to Broad Ripple. The price can't be beat (either 10 or 20 bucks per month). The staff is super friendly and helpful. The equipment is well kept and clean. While they don't have classes or the biggest/best locker rooms they get 5 stars for excellent value. I have the $20 a month membership and I can bring unlimited guests. It is a great gym to join if you want to bring friends or family along to keep you motivated with your workouts! I have never had a bad experience here. read more

I love this gym. It has the equipment I need, in a very clean spacious atmosphere. I love the hydromassage chairs, the nice locker room, and circuit areas. I would recommend this gym to any beginner or intermediate exerciser. This may not be the right gym for the very advanced member, however it's perfect if you are looking for a place to workout several times a week. The staff is very polite and helpful. I've tried 4 different PF's around central Indiana: Plainfield, 86th St., 38th St. and this location. This one is the best by far. Whoever planned out this place knew well what they were doing. Lights are dimmed a bit in case someone might be self conscious, newbies etc. Nice touch. It's more roomy than the others and a lot less crowded. It has modern and a better variety of equipment. The locker room is really nicely furnished too. Staff: courteous and professional. For the money, I defy anyone to find a better place to train in Indy. Highly recommend. The management and staff at this location is UNPROFFESIONAL. You complain it to management and they will become even more UNPROFFESIONAL. Call PF Headquarters 603-375-0001, file a complaint on this location, and change the location/cancel membership. Where do I start? (1) This location is run by a married female manager named, Heather, and she flirts with the male members as they workout. I was told by the earlier Regional Manager that she is married. She flirts and surprisingly, she is the first person that reaches out to you to address any issues you have at this location. (2) The other female staff flirt with male members too; perhaps, encouraged by the female manager herself. (3) The gym manager and staff always have a few female and male members in the gym in their contacts and they tell these people via phone calls and texts to interfere with other members' workouts. Any kind of conversation you have with these people interfering with your workout that information will be relayed (call or text) back to the gym staff. (4) Rude and disrespectful staff and high staff turnover. (5) Every time you report an issue to the gym staff and management, they are like "we take pride in this....." "we take pride in that......" instead of fixing the issues at hand. Flirting with your customers? I do it at my job, I lose my job. Period. read more
