So far this gym is meeting my expectations, although I don't have a lot to compare it to. There is plentiful treadmills for all, and two stories of them. The 30 minute workout station seems interesting, and I like that there is a whole space dedicated to stretching. The music isn't overly loud, although I would prefer it lower. There isn't a ton of outside light but at least there is some. Supposedly cell phone conversations are prohibited whilst inside the gym. Some of the weight machines I tried had wobby seats, which surprised me. The positive, 'judgement-free' messaging is definitely appealing, and I am personally a fan of purple, so that's a win for me. I was not expecting such an updated gym inside of this plaza. So far there is always parking, as the plaza has seen better days. read more

One of the nicer ,cleaner PF i've been too. Plenty of room with two levels. Upstairs, they have the thirty minute workout area. Staff always greets me with a smile and are always up for conversation. The bathrooms and the lockers are kept very clean . They really do a great job. read more

Overall, great experience. Staff greet you upon entering and leaving the gym. Not overcrowded to the point that I cannot get a workout in.

Decent gym, but its mens locker room/bathrooms are filthy. Was not going to leave a negative review until the 3rd week of consecutive filth. Handicap Stall had a roll of toilet paper sitting on the floor with feces stains on the side. No toilet paper dispenser. Soap dispenser had no soap. So i leave to stall to go wash my hands. When get to the first sink it was covered and clogged with what i hope was facial hair. Once again i understand if someone trashed the bathroom and I walked in after, but this was everyday for 3 weeks. read more

I honestly don't understand how other people rate places so low that are such solid and customer centered businesses. I have worked out at many gyms and visited many Planet Fitness facilities and the one in Lantana is best in class. The place is super clean, the equipment relatively new and easy and fun to use. I personally don't use trainers but they seem to be there all of the time and working with happy clients. The vibe is quiet and respectful to everyone and the staff very cordial and available. The Black Card area is never too busy and the tanning rooms clean with good bulbs. The registrar and water massage chairs are so worth the price of upgrade. Overall this is a gym that I WANT to go to and that's the benchmark for for excellence. 5 stars all the way. read more

Workout was lovely; facility is nice. My issue is with the decorum and dishonesty of the manager, Daelyn. First of all -- she greeted me with a "what?" or "what's up?" when she was attempting to assist me. She then said the enhancement machine was being used so I would have to wait. So, I sat and waited and no one exited. Finally I opened the door to see that this woman told a bold faced lie for no reason -- probably assuming I would leave. She tried robbing me as a black card member of my privileges. Who does that as a manager? Why lie and have me wait for no reason? With that said -- 2 stars. One because it's a nice space and everyone else is kind and professional. The reduction is due to Daelyn's issues and unprofessionalism. Please hire better and more intelligent managers. This woman isn't doing the space any justice. read more

I was told I'm not allowed in because I'm wearing blue pants. They are jeans that stretch. This is a no judgment gym, bull. Update. I guess others are mad about this. My whole crew is leaving your gym. I didn't ask them to. As a parting gift they charged me for another month on the way out. It was handled poorly and unprofessional. That's why other members walked out with me. There is nothing intimidating about streachy jeans. I wear them to increase safety not the opposite, so what's the point. read more

Very clean and a good environment to workout in. Has most of the equipment and machines needed for your workouts.

Not for beginners, those serious about exercising, or worried about being judged. The place looks nice when you walk in, and staff is friendly at first... but then management places you on the watch list once you sign away your rights to become a member. Ultimately, you sign away your rights for a good workout. Staff are not trained to assist/serve you if you are in need. For example, there is no assistance if you are unsure how to use a machine and at risk for injury. They are not concerned for you because you sign your rights away in case of an injury. However, the staff is trained to patrol members to make sure you are cleaning the equipment for them. This is how they keep their staffing low and profit margins high... using members as their cleaning crew. Be ready to spend half your workout cleaning while staffing patrols your every move. Also, make sure you do not accidentally drop a weight. They will ring a loud siren that draws all the attention to you, judging you, and embarrassing you. This is what management trains staff to do... be the ultimate judge of you. Stay away from this gym. Highly recommend LA Fitness or 24 hour Fitness. Both companies are there to serve the members, keep them safe, and make sure you have a good workout! read more

It's a really nice gym. These negative reviews are clearly people who like to complain. I'm always greeted, it's clean, and no one bothers me. If you want it to be cleaner then clean the machine with the stuff they provide you before your workout. Plus that doesn't really reflect on them since they can't control every single persons workout, especially when it's busy. This gym is large and has a lot of machines. I recently came from out of town to use this gym. My husband has a planet fitness membership and I have the add-on membership. My husband is currently not able to work out due to back issues. The manager, Paris, was so accommodating in allowing me to work out despite my husband not being present. Everyone was super friendly and kind. Several times I saw employees sanitizing equipment in light of the current Covid pandemic. There was hand sanitizer all around and there were "social fitnessing" signs-very clever and mindful of safety. Everything is so modern, clean and reasonably priced. I truly couldn't of asked for more. Wonderful staff! read more

"You belong." The club motto applies to body types, but it certainly doesn't apply to politics. You can watch Fox and Friends on two different TVs in this facility, but not Morning Joe. The facility refuses to put on MSNBC alongside Fox -- despite several requests. If you can get past that, or you love Trump, the facility is large and has good equipment. I've been working out at Planet Fitness for about nine years, and in that time, they have done a complete 180! The whole gym is geared less toward women and more toward muscle-heads with rows of cardio machines and a dedicated free-weight room. I love that 98 percent of the machines work at all times, the place is kept as clean as you'd expect a gym to be, and that the staff is friendly. Downsides -- the women's restroom is small and poorly lit for getting ready, i.e. makeup application. The ventilation in the restroom is poor too; the lockers are way too small; no personal amenities. No classes, no food, no frills. A dude's gym. Totally. read more
