Enrollment process was super SIMPLE! I did it completely online. When I arrived to the allocation the staff was SUPER friendly! I just scanned my QR code to check in, took a pic and got right in. I've been to several Planet Fitness locations and what stood out to me about this one was the friendly staff and easy to find location! Planet Fitness has been giving me the run around to cancel my membership for six months! I called and left messages for the manager and went in the center TWICE because I was told I could only cancel my membership with the manager. She never returned a phone call even when I watched the girls write my information down. They charged another $54 for yearly fees! They hit my account THREE TIMES TAKING MONEY IN JUST DECEMBER ALONE!!! They can not return a dime because I never went to the gym but can take money out repeatedly! They make it very difficult to cancel memberships! Be aware that they also will charge fees beside the agreed upon membership dues. It happened to me...I'm not sure if it was an unethical individual at the location I signed up with, or if it is standard operating procedures with the corporation as a whole. read more

The place is clean, equipment clean and well maintained.... Ifffff....... Only the staff would be more friendlier...... The one guy that is a bit over the heavy side seems to either not enjoy his job or feels bad he's over weight and works in a gym ??? IDK :( . There is also a young short girl seems like you can get a hello!! When she's in a good mood. The trainer is the only person there that seems to enjoy working with people. He always greets people and actually smiles. Besides the staff ALL else is good. I can only give them 2 stars because of the staff. FYI I only go in the mornings . read more

This is a amazing gym to go to ! But the only thing I'm not liking about it is that the seats they have are way to hard, I loved the soft ones those were amazing I loved going there when they had the soft one. This gym has also had an amazing response to COVID-19, they waiting a long time to open up and also you have to wear a mask ! That's amazing, I would recommend this gym. read more

Sad. Monroe used to be nice when it first opened. It has really declined : bathrooms are not maintained during high traffic times, tanning beds are unsanitary and often plain disgusting; definitely not checked or cleaned between sessions. They have poorly trained staff managing people's memberships, accounts, billing fees, giving members the run around. It 100% reflects a deterioration in the leadership and unprofessional business practices of the area management under Beth and current franchise owners. In the Monroe location, Beth threw the club manager clear under the bus to cover her own lack of professionalism and lack of leadership. There are many other well maintained gyms in the area now that are very customer-minded and not churn-and-burn focused. PF is not the only game around anymore. Support one of the the hard working local gyms instead. read more

This planet fitness seems a little smaller than some but I like the feel of it. The staff is very friendly and they have all the amenities, including stand up tanning. Closest to my house so I go to this one the most out of the others in the area. read more

This may be the worst gym in the world first the new machines,the new seats are supper hard my butt hurts so much when I go on the new machines I have said something about it and the just say go get a trainer but what is a trainer gonna do about the seats? Advertise and charge for services they DO NOT provide and staff is clueless. WiFi hasn't worked in over 3 months, yet I was charged an annual fee for "upkeep" and such. Filed a formal complaint with corporate about the WiFi because the on site staff has no answers as to why it doesn't work. Corporate insured me a manager or representative of the owner would call within 3 days and it's been over a week now. It's 2018, you're a multi million dollar corporation and you can't provide free WiFi to your hard paying customers? read more

Friendly and welcoming staff. I just joined a couple of weeks ago. Every time I go in, the staff greets me with a smile. Gio is fantastic. When I leave, they always ask how my workout went and wish me a great rest of the day. Someone is always cleaning...the machines, equipment, floors, windows, bathrooms, etc. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a gym centrally located. read more

They stole money out of my checking account. I have never been there before, but they started charging my account. When I called they couldn't find me or any charges to my carx. I was told multiple times the manager would call me back, but that never happened. The charges did stop for a couple of months and then started back up again. I called again with the same response and again after multiple calls the manager never called back. I had to call my bank and report it as fraud, which blocked planet fitness from charging my account ever. Then planet fitness starts sending me texts saying something is wrong with my account. Funny how they could find me in their system until I forced them to stop stealing from me. I believe the manager was responsible and that is why they wouldn't call me back. I wonder how many other people they stole from and are stealing from currently. read more
