First off, their website has a sign-up sheet for classes and says they have personal trainers; both of which are completely false. When I asked for a refund based on their false advertising, the customer experience rep told me no, that I had signed an agreement and that agreement did not say those services were included. He was extremely rude, would not let me speak with his manager or give me a phone number to call corporate. What kind of a company operates like this? A crappy one. I've been a member of this planet fitness for a couple of years and have to say that he checks all the boxes. Affordable, clean, convenient, friendly and has friendly staff. I try to do my workouts either early in the morning or later in the evening during which it is pretty empty and very easy to get to any machines you want. However, the few times I've gone at 6 PM it still is manageable. When I'm not in a rush I enjoy the massage chairs. They also have water massage tables, suntanning rooms and red light therapy. You will need a planet fitness black membership to utilize these amenities. In all I'd say for 20 bucks a month it's a no-brainer. read more

I love that Planet Fitness is affordable and with a small upcharge can be used at any location around the country and allows access to a water massage bed as well as tanning booths. It's honestly a great deal! After recently visiting other Planet Fitness' in California I've gotta say this location blows them out of the water. This is my "home base" location. The staff is always nice and attentive. The machines are all in great condition and there's rarely ever a wait for any machine or piece of equipment. I LOVE not being bothered or feeling like I'm being watched while working out. I mean, it's no wonder with a row of TVs playing a wide variety of shows! $20 a month gets you access to all of the classes, machines, equipment, tanning beds and massage chairs AND you get to bring a friend for free, as often as you'd like. Normally have no issues with this location, but today wasn't one of their better days. Went to tan around noon and the tanning bed was not cleaned after the last user and tanning lotion was splashed on the floor. After I cleaned the bed, getting ready to tan, and put on lotion, I find out the timer for the bed was not set. I had to put my clothes back on to go out and tell them because I did not have my phone with me. No apologies by the person at the desk, he just said he's got it. In addition, there is a mandatory mask mandate and this was NOT being enforced at all. Not one customer that I saw entering or exiting was wearing a mask except for a customer wearing a bandana around his neck, just in case someone asked him to put on his mask. read more

I checked this out to possibly change gyms to a 24hr facility. While the gym was really clean it definitely had the 'big box' discount feel with no showering/bathroom amenities and basic fitness machines. I was given a tour by a rep who couldn't answer all my basic questions (wifi, benefits of membership, etc). The hydro massage machine was on the fritz and I was a bit leery of the cleanliness and wipedown after use. It just had a "colder" feeling. If you are looking to pop in for a basic sweat and get on with your day the price probably matches the experience, but i would have preferred a few more offerings for a membership (magazines for a stationery bike, healthier cooler drinks, etc). This location is annoying! Twice within two months I've been bothered by employees while I was working out. They informed me I had to move (off my stair stepper on which I was in the middle of work out) because they needed to clean. I appreciate they keep the place clean. I understand they were just doing their job, but just leave me alone and let me work out! Quit interrupting to clean! Came in here during the weekend of the Husker/Purdue game. PF is my gym when on the road. It's just a nice basic gym wherever I've been. Although the layout may be just a bit different at all of them, they all have the same type of equipment. Plenty of cardio machines, free weights, cable machines and the 30 minute workout area. The people that answer the phone at this location are clueless! I cancelled my membership in August of 2020. I'm still able to log in to my ONLINE ACCOUNT 2 years later. I was told through online Customer Service to go back to the club to have my online account disabled. The account still had my personal information including an old bank account number. I would like the account disabled for security purposes as there is no way to delete the account myself. All the location had to do was tell me to contact the corporate office at 844-880-7180 & Option 3. I had to discover this information myself. I was given the run-around for an hour. read more

I am really liking this gym! I have social anxiety so coming to the gym was hard for me. I love to exercise in general so I've always wanted to join a gym but I was nervous about being judged. This place is great if you have the same fear as me. There are all different kinds of people here and I love that. They all seem nice, but keep to themselves. I see everyone wipe down their machine when they're done, and the locker rooms are clean. I do wish they had the personal trainers there all the time though. I must admit my first day coming here I was beyond nervous, not knowing what to do or where to start. I have my hubby with me when I go so that helps calm my nerves. I didn't know how to work some of the machines, and made the treadmill shut off twice, I got embaressed and left feeling nervous about going back. The next day I walked in, there were more people than the night before, but I got right on a treadmill and did my thing. Once you get into your exercise you will forget about the people around you and you will be fine. After making many trips to this gym, I feel right at home. No nerves at all! That's huge for me! If I can do it so can anyone else, give planet fitness a try. My husband even got to meet a youtuber he's subscribed to for a while now, they were lifting by each other. I won't name names though. I've been a member since November. Absolutely love it. Nowhere else in Omaha can you get a 24 hour staffed gym for $10 or $20 a month. If you pay $20 for a black card membership, you get unlimited tanning and massage zone, which makes it the best value in Omaha. Training is also included with both memberships. They don't have a pool, juice bar, or that other stuff, but it is a nice, clean, affordable gym. I've done Anytime Fitness and Blue Moon Fitness too, and this is by far the best between the gyms. read more

I've only been a member for a couple months now and up until this morning I thought everyone on staff was pretty friendly. I upgraded to Black membership this morning and the guy seemed like he was annoyed by it, or like maybe I pissed in his Wheaties or something. I tried to cancel my membership and the gym claimed they hadn't received my written cancellation after almost a month. Took the cancellation in to them physically and demanded proof of cancellation. Was told I would receive no other charges, but continue to be billed by the company. Called to dispute additional charges and the Assistant Manager was combative and rude. He talked over me and threatened to hang up. When I asked for the Regional Manager's number, who apparently is the only one who can deal with monetary disputes, I was told that company policy doesn't allow them to give out his number. I have now been charged over $130 of additional fees after cancellation, including late fees I've been charged for not paying fees they supposedly refunded. What a con! read more

I have been a member for a year. Unfortunately this morning I entered in the facility in Omaha, NE and I was harrassed by one of the "gym trainers". I arrived 5.45 am and he informed me the gym opened at 6 am... (the doors were opened) I sat in the lobby area. This guy starting to asking me if I have a mask on me which I say yes, he keep pushing the question about a mask and I mentioned that he should be aware many of the members DO NOT wear a mask and if he was going to ask ALL the people in the floor. The guy was so aggressive and starting chasing me on the floor and called the Police on me!!!! I am a fitness competitor and I have been following ALL the measurements in COVID. This is a really solid gym. Have all the treadmills and eliptical machines you could hope for. These all have head Jacks to plug earphones into so you can listen to their many tvs. There are lots of free weights and Smith machines. Gym is always very clean and good staff. read more

Love This Gym! The bed's are always clean when I go in. The staff at night is just plan out amazing! Whenever I need help I always can count on Jen that works Usually 10 at night till about I believe 6 am. She actually not only been staff there she has became like a friend I look forward to seeing when going to the gym. The hydro beds are amazing and so comfy highly recommend after a long workout. The bathrooms and lockers are always clean no problems there. I enjoy the staff at night couldn't tell you much about during the day cause I don't tend to make it during the day but if your into working out at night and the staff will help you with your workouts such as showing how to use most of the machines if you have any problems I count on Planet Fitness to be my gym for many more days to come! read more

Terrible kept charging my diffent amounts to my bank account would charge 40 and 50 for what was suppose to be a 20 dollar membership. when I tried to cancel they told me I had to right them a letter and send it in then wait for someone to call me back just to cancel. And when I did no one ever called me back so basically you can't cancel your membership and they will overcharge you every month but always a different amount so you can't stop payment.. I have never joined or been in a gym before and have always heard of friends and coworkers walking into an up-tight, snooty feeling gym. Not this one! I went to look at Planet Fitness before I joined and to get a short tour before making a final decision. Tyler, the blonde hair girl, welcomed me with a warm smile and knew her stuff. She was as nice as could be and really made me feel good about joining. I also had the pleasure of talking shortly to one of the trainers, and I cannot remember his name for the life of me, but he was very kind and let me watch what he did with his clients. He was very pumped up, full of knowledge, everything a personal trainer should be. The place was very clean, organized, and a simple (but cool) color combination. Night guy with the vacuum pack... the only reason why I don't like going here so far. I feel like he dislikes guests. I'm thinking in his mind he sees every guest as alien threat and himself, as vigilante, Captain Planet Fitness, sent to Metropolis to save all of PF's black card members and their super secret laboratory rooms from being unearthed and destroyed. Literally, all I was going to do was look at a machine my husband was using to see what it does, but super hero with his mutant senses stopped me quick and said I can't go back there at all. I didn't even make it in the hallway leading to the rooms. Then while I stood at the counter waiting for my husband to come out he looked deathly afraid to leave me alone being that close to the highly restricted area. He was all vacuuming and looking over his shoulder. If you come in, just look down the hallway and you'll see him come runnin' fast from across the gym to stop you. Lol! He's the Dwight Schrute of PF on 133rd. It wouldn't be so bad if he had better people skills. But he gets the job done and for that good sir, you get 2 full stars! read more

You can't beat $10/month for a staffed 24 hour gym and unlimited training sessions. I'm not sure the person who gave one star is reviewing the right gym. I've never been charged more than $10.70 per month (that's the total with tax) and I didn't pay a registration fee. This gym is super clean and everyone (the staff and members) are so nice! To sign up and work with the trainer, there is a clip board at the front desk that you just write your name on in the time slot you want to come- super easy. They have pretty much every machine you would need. The only thing I wish it had was classes. read more
