The facility was decent, but canceling my membership is terrible. The staff did not inform me of anything but the fact that they couldn't do anything about it. this place get crowded from 4pm- 9pm but for the price and amenities its a solid 5 for me.

This company is HORRENDOUS. the gym itself is good. The company/gym is very deceptive and they try and take as much money from you as possible. There are cancelation fees. There are Freeze fees. There are overdraft fees where they purposefully mess up on the automated payment so they get to charge you. If you try to talk to them about issues with money involved they direct you to call a number. After you call the number you either sit on hold for 30 minutes or choose the option where they call you back to which they never call you back. Somehow I signed up for a $15 membership and a couple months later I had a charge for $107. How the hell does that even work? vasa sucks. read more

Agree with all the reviews describing the scammy membership practices. Went into gym a month ago to cancel. They walked me through canceling on the app. Got billed again today for membership, but app says membership not found. Location manager told me to call Paramount Solutions and 5 mins later the app says I owe $75 to cancel (after saying account not found before I called). Have now been on hold with Paramount Solutions for 30 mins. Do not trust these people. read more

It's a good gym with decent equipment, I would like to see a little more cleanliness in the locker rooms they are pretty gross. Also I have been to the Bellevue location, and they have electronic locks at the locker rooms and gym side, to only allow the people paying for the pool, steam room, and sauna access. Would love to see that here too, what is stopping people from going in that don't pay for it. This would be a four star if these two things would be different. And 5 stars if the massage chairs werent down all the time! read more

Very excited to see a new gym open up in the area and offer some competition within the market. This place is huge and offers quite a bit though with the low price memberships its packed in here and excessively loud. The equipment is nice and new and fairly decent. They do have most everything you may need. I just don't think I can become a member given how crowded it is. I'll pay more for a little more open space. read more

It was the most horrible experience to cancel this membership. Hidden Fees. The employees at the gym lied about the fees to cancel. They also screwed up my monthly payments. Cost me $340 to cancel on a $67 dollar a month membership. Avoid at all costs!! read more

I love Vasa! I have been a member since March 2025 and had nothing but a great experience each time I visit. The instructors are great, lots of classes to choose from and I get greeted by someone at the front every time I walk in which is a nice touch! I highly recommend this gym! read more

Don't ever sign up for a membership because you will never be able to get out of it. They do not have customer service and do not allow you to cancel. They also overcharge you multiple times and will never give you. Credit back for all the overcharges. This place is a scam, once you sign up and they get a hold of your credit card. You're screwed for Life. Do not join Vasa fitness unless you plan on having them steal money out of your account unauthorized several times a month. They overcharge for things that are not listed in the contract and they refuse to refund anything. read more

The manager in the Lincoln location is completely incompetent. the whirlpool ahs been down for over a month, this is the reason I joined, the y keep blaming the vendor. I asked for compensation until the whirlpool is repaired...NO RESONSE. If ZERO was an option, that is the best I would give them. read more

I got a guest pass to try out this gym and i arrived and was informed that i would not be able to use it unless the manager was present to give the code. the staff member refused to let me in unless they were there unless i paid $15. i called when they said the manager would be there and they gave me a different time that the manager would be there. the guest pass lists no mention that the manager, whose hours nobody allegedly knows, must be present in order to use this pass. I have tried using a guest pass in the past and they also were extremely difficult and unprofessional then. i would not recommend this gym to anybody based on their terrible management. read more

Went with a couple of friends and they wanted to use the free day pass and we were greeted with "we can't do that we need a manager here." So they had to pay for a day pass which is the same price as a monthly membership. After we were done lifting, we tried to do the full body scan and then the guy said "we need a manager here to do that." Like what is their purpose in working there if they need a manager to do everything? Also, two of the like 7 massage chairs were out of order. Men's locker room was a maze. Overall very mid experience. Lincoln's vasa is like 100x better. Get a membership somewhere else if you live in Omaha. read more

The neighborhood behind this VASA fitness center hates it! What we're they thinking putting in that big picture window that lite 24 hours a day. We bought those houses because we like the privacy, now they can see us and we can see them, so it taken away the joy of setting on our decks. In addition, they cut half the trees behind the building, so we get all the trash, weeds and run off from the snow. The kids have started writing graffiti on the back of the building. read more

This is a beautiful gym with great pricing. As the other reviewers have mentioned, it is crowded, HOWEVER, I've always experienced plenty of open equipment and have had no issues getting the right equipment to finish a workout. It might be that I'm going during the day and not during peak morning and evening hours. My only complaint is this: VASA....PUT SOME DECENT SHOWERHEADS IN YOUR SHOWERS!!!! These ones are awful. I'd like to do my workout, take a shower and be done for the day. All I can do with these showerheads is BARELY rinse off then I have to go home to finish getting ready. REPLACE YOUR SHOWERHEADS! I was transferred out of state in November and I'm still being charged, still fighting to cancel and being harassed by a collector even though they are still taking my money! We signed up for this gym in January 2024. We ended up never going but paid the monthly fee anyway), and decided to cancel the membership in April 2024. We had 2 separate memberships, my husband and I, ( i don't know why we had to have 2 separate accounts)- initially, they said they cancelled our membership, but then they continued to bill our separate gym accounts. They finally cancelled my husband's, but continued to bill my account. We reached out to the regional general manager, Layne Nordquist, who assured us that they cancelled my account finally in September 2024. It is now January 2025, and we just received notice from a law office that we owe them $215, and that we will be reported to a credit bureau if we don't pay it. This is by far the worst business I have had to encounter in my life. It's the accountability of their company for saying they took care of our cancellation, and then we continue, a year later, to be harrassed by them. I am disgusted, and I am writing this to help others not enter into a contract with them. It will be something they will regret. read more

I went in to use a free one-day pass. The guy says "how about a free month?" You just sign up then if you don't like it you can cancel" Not mentioning you have 3 days to cancel and not mentioning there is a $45 fee for canceling. I went one from a free pass and have not and will never ever go back. If you want to enjoy a steam, you won't because kids walk in there with their shoes on about every minute and track mud and dirt all over. I had to call corporate which then the guy tells me since they "were responsible for not communicating the 3-day cancelation policy, they will ONLY charge me $45 bucks to cancel" then asked me to give him a 5-star review!!! I hope they see this. If I could give this place a -5 star review I would. Their Tier pricing is a joke and there are a LOT of HIDDEN things they will not tell you so if I were you, I would NOT even go in. read more

The poor review comes from how much the facility and staff need to majorly improve. The facilities bathrooms and showers need an upgrade because who could shower in there. The drinking fountains seem to have problems every week. The massage chairs usually hit or miss due to how often 1 needs maintenance every 2 weeks it seems. The worst part of it all would be the failed heath inspection of the pool area in February of this year. The front desk staff are friendly mostly if your trying to sign up otherwise any problems/ gym concerns you have they could care less. 1/5 would not recommend very anti beginner friendly gym read more
