There is absolutely no pride of ownership anywhere in this gym. The owner, manager, and staff are completely lazy. The gym is absolutely filthy, and every plate loaded machine is never cleared after using. There are some nice pieces in there for a quality workout, but the lack of maintenance on them shows. The guide rods aren't lubricated, the cables aren't installed at the correct length, dumbbells are always loose, all cable accessories are just thrown into random bins throughout the gym. They only have 4 spray bottles installed on random pillars throughout the entire gym for wiping down equipment, so most of the equipment never gets cleaned. The only reason we signed up there is because my wife competes, and they have a posing room. What they didn't mention, is that its only open during staffed hours, because "someone might take weights in there". This place is a joke. Maybe if it was earned, instead of given, it would be more appreciated. There are other gyms in the area where you can get a good workout, one being less than a block away from Tiger Iron, and not have to worry about catching a staff infection from the equipment. Stay far away from this dump.

Don't forget you have to wear grip socks for the workout! In the back is a bathroom and hooks with extra storage if you want to set your belongings down. The instructor cueing keeps your mind occupied the whole time and I love the challenging workouts! Don't forget to wipe off your equipment at the end of the workout. Seems like they have lots of fun workout events and celebrations throughout the year. I only wish I lived in town so I could get a membership and come all the time. I'd love to take advantage of the childcare available for purchase while you're working out!

Never gave me a copy of the…read moremonth-to-month agreement (I wouldn't even call it a contract) called ABC Billing to cancel told me to go to the club. I went to the club, canceled and had to take screenshots of proof we canceled because they didn't have the ability to make copies. We had to cancel our debit card because in less than 2 months time they charged $235 for a stupid month to month membership that they claimed we could cancel anytime! Asked the GM to call me and never would or did. Went back in to ask why we weren't canceled and sent an employee to discuss it all despite being 10 feet from me. Then told me about the cancelation charges $32.95 x 3 and the months after I canceled that I still owed and she WOULDN'T honor my request until I paid in full. They were NOT up front about anything and was completly blind-sided. I only got a copy of the contract because I asked the slimy collection company, Aldous, to validate my debt and they sent me a copy of the so called contract. I WILL fight this and next step is with Alabama Attorney General. When the government shutdown is over I will contact the FTC and submit a complaint regarding this business, Anytime Billing and Aldous & Associates. I am submitting a complaint to BBB even though this might not have as much of an effect. The other thing I will add is the brief time we did go they were frequently out of paper towels to wipe machines down, signs posted about they would not turn down the AC/fans on below 75 and to just deal with it (was usually warm in the small building space) The soap dispensers were frequently out in the bathrooms. Most of the staff was nice and helpful, but absolutely helpless to assist us with the issues with cancellation. If they allowed their true feelings to be known they wouldn't have a job. Please avoid these sleezy gyms!!!!

This is a great fit for me because it is right down the street from my house in Ladonia. The nostalgia look that won me over. You can wear what you want and listen to your music with no judgment with the Bluetooth speakers. It's at a cost of $25 a month for all access and no start-up fee or that hidden yearly fee most gyms charge. Now it's in the backyard of the owner of the gym,but I love the security. However, the first class I had with Nathan was incredible. This place is not only an excellent facility--spcaious, clean, lots of equipment, circulation--but the coaches...it's the coaches for me. My technique in squats, snatches, kipping pull-ups and even rowing improved tremendously. I can't say enough about Nathan, Autumn, and Aubrey. They really break down the movements to help you improve all-around. It's also a gym for everyone--age, fitness level, etc. There are three tailored levels for each workout, which for me is very helpful as I'm often in the middle. The classes weren't too crowded, either, but I'd bet it can get quite busy during the semester. I was proud to call this place home for over 2 months and will definitely be returning whenever I'm in town!
