Since joining Fit to Be, my outlook on working out has improved drastically!!! I love coming to the…read moreclasses and the instructors are all knowledgeable, encouraging and upbeat. I tried Pure Barre for about 3 months, but was seeking variety in my workouts. F2B offers that with a plethora of classes and times! My body (and mind) have been challenged and I love seeing how my strength improves each class. If you're looking for a small studio with great vibes, definitely come check this studio out. You will not regret it!

Let me join the growing chorus of devotees of the intimate yet challenging classes offered at Fit…read moreto Be. First, the logistics. Fit to Be is located in the same building and on the same level as American Roadhouse. There's plenty of parking in the lot behind the building, and the studio has a small lobby area to wait in before classes start. They have a single room for classes, but it has a sliding barn door in the back, making it possible to conduct private training sessions at the same time a larger class is going on. Other reviews note that classes are capped at 15, but I've never had more than twelve. I have yet to take a class with Julie (the owner, acclaimed in many other reviews), but that's because I'm such a huge fan of Bryn's Ballerobica class at 9am on Saturdays. Barre or ballet-inpsired classes are a dime a dozen these days, but Ballerobica is the best I've found. It adds an aerobic element to the standard core exercises, so you feel like you've gotten a much bigger calorie burn. Plus, Bryn is a phenomenal teacher- she pushes without yelling and she is continually upbeat without being fake. Everyone -from students to teachers - seems genuinely glad to be there. I leave class feeling upbeat (and sweaty) which is exactly what I'm looking for. Though I discovered Fit to Be through Classpass (which is awesome, by the way), these are classes I might actually pay extra to be able to attend more of them than the three per month Classpass limits you to. At just $15 for one drop in class (and packages that go down in cost from there), Fit to Be is also one of the more reasonable gyms I've found. I can't wait to try more classes, because Fit to Be is certainly as good as it gets!

They also have hatha, candlelight yin, hot flow yoga, and other really amazing classes (not all classes are heated but are equally as great). All instructors are great! They encourage you to go at your own pace and really "dig deep" . (My favs are Sonya , Whitley and Elizabeth ) * rental for mat or yoga/face towel available . Overall: It's really a welcoming space. The encouragement to go at my own pace really helps me center and focus on listening to my body and understanding. This is a wellness journey.

I've been attending classes at M3 yoga since they took over from Tough Love. I love the owners,…read moreMatt and Nick, and I appreciate that they brought their approach to yoga to Atlanta (they also have a studio in Athens.) I have my favorite teachers and work to attend their classes as much as I can. For me, the membership plan is worth it if you can attend at least 6 classes a month. (Some people come every day! Multiple times a day!) I mostly attend Hatha classes but I also enjoy Flow and Super Stretch. The stretch, yin and restorative classes are the most beginner friendly. I've only attended a few warm/hot classes and they are not my jam. However, they are very popular with others! M3 is LGBTQIA friendly and has a policy against racism posted on their website. I haven't seen any other studio display such a message. As a Black woman, I notice when I'm the only Black person in the room, and I appreciate when someone else who looks like me is present and welcome in the space. (I don't want to be the only one y'all!) They have an app to use for scheduling and a very active IG page. They also have contests to encourage class attendance and give good prizes! I won a gift card to a local store and felt so special. The only thing I don't like is the class schedule changing every season. Some classes don't change but I've had to drop some classes because they are on a new day or at a different time. I can't believe that I'm the first person to review M3. It's a great addition to Atlanta yoga and I hope more people sing their praises.

I also really liked how reservations are not required for regularly scheduled classes which makes it convenient for people just wanting to check out Yogafly and out-of-towners such as myself. Just show up a little early to pay and sign a waiver. Classes are $15 each but there are various packages available. The studio space is one big rectangle, with props and a desk at the front, and a bathroom and a piano at the back. The ceiling was painted a soothing shade of turquoise. The only slight detraction were sounds from the Mexican restaurant next door. Found the Hatha 1 class with Katharine relaxing and satisfying, felt super stretched out after. Thanks Yogafly!

The space itself is amazing, but the real gift is Peach. Her teaching is excellent, and she has truly created a yoga community in the city of Auburn. She's knowledgable, approachable, and very intelligent in how she can simplify some intimidating things and make them available to students of all levels. On top of that, she leads a wonderful teacher training and knows how to hire responsible and knowledgable teachers. Peach's background and training are impressive and it shows in every class she teaches. Whether you're a long time practitioner or a first timer, this is a teacher you will absolutely learn from. There is no other Peach!!!
