I've been to a lot of planet fitness locations all the way from Washington DC to California. I've been a member for about a year now. I gave 5 stars because I didn't see much wrong here only right. It was practically spotless. The machines were all working, great gym environment and the bathrooms/ locker room looked great, toiletries stocked. I checked out the showers bc sometimes I need to shower at the gym and they appeared to be clean or cleaned often. The layout of the gym is nice here as well. This location never has working paper towel dispensers. You sometimes have to walk around and find it or just give up and use dirty equipment. The paper towels you use to disinfect with are placed literally on the trashcan...in my opinion is just a bit unsanitary. This gym restroom has no blow dryers , only a few electrical plugs, lockers are always broken which makes me fear putting anything in them. It was good some of the equipment was updated recently but there's still never any equipment such as the ankle strap, foam rollers, etc.. " or they can't find it". I have a few gym memberships and unfortunately this just happens to be my worst one. It's just soo close to my home which is why I haven't canceled in 5/6 years. Priscilla, the manager in Rialto called me at around 8 AM because I left a review less than 12hrs from her call, to get my opinion. That was just the icing on the cake...I canceled that day. I do not prefer my Gym to call me at all especially, so early considering it's a 24 hour gym I work night shift. When I told her that her call so early was why I am canceling she said "oh okay". No apology nothing. Most of the girls at the late night shift are really sweet and the men are always sweet and welcoming morning, afternoon and evening. Quite possibly the worst customer service interaction I've had anywhere. I was interested in signing up for a membership, so I went in to try the gym. As I was getting checked in by a female employee, this male employee walks over and is incredibly rude and unprofessional for no reason. Just nasty and unprofessional on every level. Not sure how this individual has a job that's customer-facing and I think Planet Fitness should do a better job of vetting who they hire. Wouldn't ever recommend this place to anyone. read more

This place is a joke always crowded and they sneak $15 late fees so be carful ,, the manager told me I was gonna get a free month if I did a survey and to say good things about this place I did , I was happy I got a free month but then I kept getting $15 dollar late fees , I paid early on the app every month , I called in and told them and the manager told me if I Had proof I was like yeah .. He would not waive the $15 fees so now I know the free month is really not free . They charge you those late fees what a scam. And the employees have no customer service at all. The facility itself is super clean and staff is great. My only gripe is the summer months. While Im for teens doing something productive, the program really inconveniences paying members like myself that go after work. Teens in bunches socializing, sitting on machines on their phones makes it frustrating and makes peak hours ridiculous. Hope this reaches out to more management. Clean gym with friendly staff. This PF is located in a outdoor strip mall with a huge parking lot out front making parking easy. Sandra greeted me at the door and checked me in as a guest via my insurance company, a easy process which has been unnecessarily difficult at a few other locations I've visited. Thank you, Sandra! That set the tone for the rest of my visit. The gym floor is set up in a rectangular formation with areas for cardio, stretching, legs and abs, 30-min workout area, 360 area, weight machines and weights. The free weight area was decently sized for a PF. The cardio area was expansive with number machines in several different variations. I did not have to wait anything. There was also a Black Card area which had tanning beds and massage chairs. All of the equipment was in newer condition and specially branded for PF. Paper towels and cleaning solution stations were conveniently situated on the floor. For the most part, the patrons all wiped the equipment after use. The gym was immaculate! The female locker room was clean and functional with showers, dressing stalls, and the restroom. The mirror counter top area could've been bigger but I've seen worse. Not only are the locker rooms filthy, the male workers are extremely unfriendly. They all just stand in the front and stare, they rarely say hello, they don't even walk up to the computer upon check in. But what really is annoying is the fact that my disabled grandma goes to the facility next door and struggles to use the HANDICAPPED crosswalk because one of the workers decides their Kia stinger deserves to be parked right in front on a spot that is not even a parking spot while there are PLENTY of open spaces right next to it. Made a mistake by making this my home gym. Transferred/moved over from Lake Forest and this gym is so out dated in comparison. Once I let Lake Forest know I would be moving gyms to Rialto they said it would be an easy transfer and that the staff at the Rialto location could easily do it. When I asked the staff at Rialto they did not want to transfer me....They said I would have to make the 2 hour drive over to Lake Forest and have them do it on their end. Which of course I had to do. The girl at the front desk never smiles or is welcoming. You tell her thank you for simple tasks such as giving me 2 tokens for the massage chair and she just blankly stares with no response or emotion. When asking to use my black card privileges that I pay for its like pulling teeth with the staff. They honestly do not care for their jobs. They do not even have a sign in list let alone verify that you are actually a black card member. So if anyone is reading this...just go up to them and ask to use the hydro or massage chairs. They won't verify anyways. Don't get me started on the WATER! I filled my clear bottle up not even paying attention. Of course half way thru I notice it's cloudy. As if I put in a liquid IV packet. Been coming here for a few months now, it's honestly a decent gym for when you're starting out. They have all the basic things you need, some machines they only have one of which is lame. They don't have certain machines at all or much free weight, its PF so not surprising. Main cons is people hogging machines sitting on their phones (only one machine) but again it's a PF what can you expect. Their staff is whatever, they don't really care. More than half the time they don't even greet you coming in (which doesn't matter but shows they don't really care) since staff doesn't care bathrooms are usually nasty, clean up stations are usually filled but sometimes you have to go to another one because it's out of paper/spray. My biggest concern is their water, i've always seen it looking pretty nasty in my container, taste nasty too. Recently it's gotten worse, people drink alot of water here you'd think they'd keep it good ‍. Overall a decent gym to start (wouldn't recommend the water) but I'll be moving on to something else read more

Planet fitness where you belong, I've had the pleasure of coming here for the past few weeks with my cousin who has a premium pass and takes me as a guest I personally go to my own other gym but I've had a swell experience here so far. Equipment here is quite new and very reliable I like the fact that they have towels all around to wipe down the equipment and to keep everything sanitary. The restrooms have lockers and showers everything seems to be in good order and cleanliness. I suppose the only things you could really say bad if you're already an experienced gym rat like myself LOL then this place would seem like it's for beginners which it is. I don't see anything wrong with a gym that is for beginners or those who do not train to an extreme level I think it's perfect and suitable for anyone at that level especially 24 hours a day. As for myself I'm enjoying being a guest but I have been a gym rat for sometime I don't think I could confine myself to this gym simply because the weights do not go high enough and there are no free bars on the benches or other such equipment that I already received at other gyms of different type but to get a good workout in it will do the job. read more

Bathroom is a nightmare as sometimes it's dirty with no soap in the dispenser so you can imagine the amount of people who use the restroom and don't wash their hands after. I wouldn't recommend. This gym is awesome and best part is that it isn't so crowded as others. It's close to home so that's awesome. It's maintained pretty clean and there are paper rolls available throughout gym to clean equipment. Most people will usually clean equipment after they're done using it, which is cool. There are a lot of treadmills. That's what I use mainly. I also like that there aren't any dudes on steroids flexing in front of the mirrors. July 25 this location had what I am guessing management comedown and make the employees actually clean the entire facility which is usually completely dirty. One of the guys cleaning that is not from this location was disgusted by the filth in the men's restroom area. The next day July 26th and things are back to the same. So thankful the gym is open but it seems like the staff has no balls to enforce new rules I see people wearing no mask or wearing it half ass meaning not properly on. Figure it out do we have to wear mask while working out or not. Another problem I see staff walking around and people not wiping down machines after use. Enforce the rules. Another thing do not close off half the machines during peak hours even if for cleaning I thought that was the explanation for closing and no longer offering 24 hours. We told him we were already in the system , he sill asked for our id's ,my brother had his with him , he had me sign in the black card sign up sheet when my number was already put in to the system with my picture as well with my brother , he said we needed our parent to check him in when I've done in at other planet fitness centers . Pros: people are here to actually work out and not show off. I like the new machines. Never too crowded. Good location. Always friendly at front desk Cons: unlike other locations, you NEVER see any workers cleaning. The bathroom rug is often dirty. If we are expected to wipe down machines there should be paper towels to do that! The trash cans are often overflowing. There's either no spray or no paper towels. We need both. Lastly, many times I attempt to use the hydro bed it never starts and you have to go back to the counter. read more

New girl banned my brother and I. Ever since 2 years ago my brother and I always went to the gym together starting in high school, he was a senior and I was a junior. Ever since he graduated I started going alone and this went on for quite a while. This whole time the member ship was in my brother's name and I hadn't had any issues with it, until recently I was stopped by this new girl at the front desk denying me access to workout because the member ship wasn't in my name and said my brother had to be there, so I went home to ask my brother to come with me so he could pass me by (it was winter break so he was home) and as we walking up and scanned the membership the new girl informed us that she spoke with her manager and actually they had us banned for multiple violations which in my opinion is b.s. Came during rush hour 6:30pm locker room was freshly cleaned when 7:30pm came staff was cleaning maintaining the facility vacuuming. I have to say I am always comfortable coming here because it's clean and kept up and maintained and it's not easy to do. Staff is always friendly this place I give 10 stars to however there's no 10 stars congratulations to staff that was here during my visit this place is still amazing to come to still clean and still friendly keep doing a great job it's not easy cleaning up after gross people and I know you run into gross things sometimes in the locker rooms. San Bernardino planet fitness is still the same gross unclean place I recommend coming to this planet fitness if you are in the inland empire. This place is off the 210 freeway there's a Starbucks and a Dell taco and a Rite Aid and a barbershop in this parking lot of planet fitness it's pretty convenient I recommend this place to everyone. read more
