I used to go to Fitness 19 in Rialto mainly because of its convenient location, but after their recent changes, I can confidently say I won't be coming back. They converted the classroom area into a so-called "VIP lounge" (now known as The Vault), and it has made the gym experience significantly worse. This gym is already small and almost always packed, and now they've taken away even more space to create an exclusive area that only certain members can access--for an extra $200! As a lifetime member, I was shocked to learn that my membership does not include this new area. I already paid a premium for what was supposed to be a lifetime membership, and now they expect more money just to access a section of the gym that used to be available to everyone? Absolutely ridiculous. This change makes it clear that they're more focused on squeezing more money out of members rather than improving the gym experience. If you're thinking about joining, be warned--this place is already cramped, and unless you're willing to keep paying more, you might find yourself getting less and less for your membership over time. Recently had a bad experience at the location in Rancho because of the manager Tim. The staff at this location went above and beyond to resolve my issue. Staff was very knowledgeable, empathetic, and communicated across their team to ensure my issue was resolved. This location is always clean and they take care of the vault room. read more

I don't even know where to begin. I see so many opportunities for improvement at this facility that it's disheartening. Especially with their customer service! For example: today, I was treated soooo poorly that I had to leave. One of the "employees " if you want to call him that was mopping the gym floor. GREAT! He had left his mop bucket leaning against the Roman chair (the hyper extension machine) and I wanted to use it. I rolled the bucket out of the way, in clear view so he wouldn't think he lost it. I continued to use the machine working 5 sets in by the time he came back for his bucket. He then began to mop around me the. I I was going down to do a set he mopped right in front of my face!!! Literally!! He pushed the mop so close to the front of me that it touched the legs of the machine, I could smell the chemicals in the bucket AS WELL AS THE RANK SMELL OF BACTERIA WATER!! Why not wait until I was done or gone from that area?!? No! It irritated me that someone that not was ok, to mop in front of my face and I mean literally in front of my face, again! The brim of my hat almost touched the mop!! Of course I was upset and re racked the weight I had as I was coming back he continued to mop next to my belongings pushing my bag with the mop!! The bacteria mop that had been used to clean the entire gym floor! He touched my back with it and moved my stuff!!! How disgusting!!! And how rude! When I went back he decided to be rude even further and proceeded to say " what? Do you have a problem ?" Ummm yes sir! I do. I told him yes! That was rude and he goes and opens his mouth again and said " what? You wanna talk to a manager? Huh?" I told I will don't worry and walk out of the gym and left! How dare he get combative with me when I had grounds to put my two cents in more than I had already! I felt disrespected! I felt like my membership there isn't worth anything! I felt violated! Sir, even if you said that because you ARE the manager, you of all people should know better than to do what you did! You lack common courtesy and integrity as well as respect! None of the employees there ever truly seem like they are working! So that's a direct reflection of the piss poor management there! That location is so poorly managed and ran! I'm sure your attrition at that location is surely high. I will be taking my business elsewhere where I'm not treated as I was today! And where the employees have integrity and work ethic! read more

I have been a member since 2020 and have done personal training with Nate ever since. Tim was very helpful with signing me up and finding a trainer that would best fit me. I have had many different goals and obstacles throughout the years, and Nate has been more than understanding and positive even when I was not. Nate also would work around my work schedule, even if that meant coming in earlier than he normally was scheduled. The gym is always clean, and the employees are kind and helpful. read more

I wanted try it out because I was looking to switch gyms but he said they don't offer any free trials. they shouldn't promote a free pass if they aren't going to honor it. He was very rude. I wanted to switch once my month was up at planet fitness but not anymore. This gym is not welcoming. I was working out with my friend and he told me I had to leave because I didn't have a membership he was upset because I did not want to purchase a membership with the gym so he kicked me out and then accused my friend of doing personal training. This is a no BS environment just hardworking, humble people looking to get their gains. I've been coming to this gym since 2020. I have had the best experience while being a member here. I have seen many staff members come and go and I can honestly say that this gym is great! Feels familiar and Tim the manager is always helpful and friendly. It's always clean and once you figure out busy times versus less crowded times, you'll have no problem getting to all the machines etc. I took a little break for 6 months to beat cancer but I'm back and I can't wait to meet my fitness goals. :) read more

I've been a member of Rialto Fitness 19 for about a year, before that a member of the Highland Fitness 19 for many years. Unfortunately the Highland location closed during Covid and as I searched many other local gyms I just couldn't find one that had the vibe I was accustomed to until I came to the Rialto Fitness 19 . This gym has a hometown feel, is always clean and the employees are very polite and friendly. Tim the manager always gets me the best price possible as I take full use of personal training. Kai my main trainer, is highly qualified and specializes in sports stretching which being in my 60's is an essential part of maintaining my flexibility. I also train with Sulvanna, Nate and Uli...they are all extremely qualified and good at motivating you to your maximum potential, I wouldn't be so successful in my fitness without all of their help!! The front office staff of Wilmer, Yoli and Jocelyn are always polite in greeting you. Keep up the great work everyone, I'm staying!! read more

I have been a member of this gym since 2016, and have purchased a life time membership for my son. Despite my financial commitment, my son and I were continuously disregarded as members by gym staff. If you plan to join this gym for their group classes, THIS GYM IS NOT FOR YOU. They will remove instructors and cancel classes for WEEKS. management does not care for the large community of Hispanic women who pay for their membership to attend Zumba classes. Do not join here unless you want to be a member for life. Canceling is an absolute NIGHTMARE. I had my membership for 2 years, gym was fine, I joined another gym closer to home. I called the number to cancel twice, was never canceled. Finally went in and had the worst experience ever. They told me I had to pay another month... even though I just paid... so I have two more months of payment due? The guy who seemed to be in charge was a condescending jerk. There's a way of explaining things and there is a way of being a complete tool, this guy was a tool. There are way too many choices for gyms out there. Don't go here. This gym is fantastic! I used to go to Planet Fitness but once a friend recommended Fitness 19 I decided to check it out. The employee that handled my membership was friendly and informative--he even talked to me about a possible workout regiment and the different classes they offer--and made everything super simple about charges, fees, etc. This gym is small, of course. However they have all the machines and weights you could want/need. Tons of treadmills, and I like that they're right in front of the windows so when you're running in the morning you can enjoy the sun. Another thing I really like is the air conditioning and heating. Planet Fitness seemed to only have industrial ceiling fans and they did little to nothing to help cool off during the summer. At this gym, the air is so cool even if it's around 70 outside. And the heating is on in the early morning when it's 50 outside. It's really great to not feel icky when you're working out. Lockers are great; no one is ever messing with people's stuff. The bathrooms are always clean and sanitary. All in all, I've been very happy with this place. Friendly staff, other gym visitors seem to be chill and courteous, and you can't beat the price here! (Only reason they don't have 5 stars is because of multi-club card issues and no showers. However, neither of those reasons are really the gym's fault itself.) read more
