Overall, a really good gym. The location is really nice and there's a decent amount of parking. They just got all new machines so all the machines work. Doesn't matter what time of day you go, whether it is 4 AM or four in the afternoon, it's decently staffed and overall clean. My only complaint is, I wish they had a few more of each of the machines. Because some of them you only have one and others you'll have two, but if you go during a busier time, it's really hard to make sure that you get to use all the machines you need to. If you're going in there for the treadmill, though there are plenty of treadmills. read more

Overall 4/5 The staff is always friendly here, the gym is always clean for the most part, given the high volume of traffic these locker rooms get, the staff does a great job, and they are also super friendly and polite. There are plenty of elliptical's and treadmill's and I would say a decent amount of weights. This is definitely a judge free zone, gym, so everybody can feel welcomed. I went in to tan and workout. The stand up tanning booth look like somebody was laying against the glass it was disgusting it was hair on the floor everywhere. I wasn't going to say anything I just cleaned it up for you. I went to use the restroom before my workout as I finished washing my hands and I looked down in the sink had been covered with so much water from nobody wiping it down that my shirt got disgustingly soaked from the sink. Extremely unsanitary. I went to the front desk to buy a Planet Fitness t-shirt to change my shirt and you guys don't sell your t-shirts there very disappointed. I'll be sticking to the Roseville branch even though this one's closer to my house. Don't visit this gym if you have allergies. The management refuses to clean it properly. The floor is almost always very dusty. I have pointed it out to them many times, but they don't seem to care. You can literally write your name in the dust!!! That gets stirred up and we breath it. Lots of people complain about it, but nothing happens. The staff were terrific and the young lady who gave myself and my daughter the tour was super friendly and knowledgeable and kind. This gym always has the friendliest workers! Tonight the female worker named Bailey was so kind and patient. My boyfriend had an issue on his account and Bailey helped us get it fixed. She provided amazing service and really made our night! This gym is always very clean! I never see the equipment looking dirty or unorganized. Their bathrooms/locker rooms are also very clean. The gym is pretty clean and the equipment is in good condition. Suggestions: 1. Install chairs so people who "go to the gym" but sit on machines for 25 minutes while scrolling the Internet or who are texting their bffs have someplace to sit instead of tying up the machines. 2. Periodically have the staff walk through the area and talk to people who are sitting on their phones. I came in last week and the area where they had the adductor and abductor machines had all of the machines occupied, but nobody was on working out--they were all watching videos on their phones. 3. Limit time on machines during high traffic times. I had a guy sitting on the lone pec fly machine for 45 minutes who did 3 sets in the 45 minutes. I was watching him as I went through 5 other machines, doing 3 sets on each machine/15 reps/machine. 4. Review the machine wipe down requirement with everyone. There are some people who NEVER wipe down machines after they use them. Manbun 30-something today (Sunday), baseball hat old guy who wears national park shirts, etc. etc. etc. Nobody wants to sit in their sweat. 5. Put some shades in the west-facing windows. It gets seriously hot on that side of the building and the adductor/abductor area during afternoons. read more

This is our home gym but we no longer live in Rocklin. We moved just a month ago, but realized that the Planet Fitness that we are currently near is too busy and far for us. We called this location to try to cancel, but they told us that we need to come in in person. This would be an 7-8 hour drive for us so we asked if we could go to any location and they said yes. We drove to the Planet near us 30 minute away just to be told that we actually have to go to our home gym to cancel. Thank you Planet Fitness Rocklin for giving us bad advice and wasting our time and $6-7/gallon gas! So disappointed. Please tell your employees the right information so they don't tell your members whatever just to get us off of the phone!! The only reason I will give 2 stars is because the location itself is pretty and new - however the members that go there do have poor cleaning/personal space etiquete which led us to frequent the newer Roseville location. read more

Someone openned my padlock at the locker room and took my belongings. A gym is supposed to be a place where you can relax and remove your stress. This gym is the opposite. I told the front desk about the incident and they wrote it on a small piece of paper with my phone number and name. Thats it!! Never heared from them again afterwards. I like coming here late at night. It's peaceful, not as much people and you get the equipment all for yourself. It's very bright gym, the lighting that's hung over the whole gym is very well lit. All the equipment are all in working function for most the time.. hardly I ever see a note saying it's "out of order". I love the TOTAL BODY ENHANCEMENT they have here. It's up to date with all working light functions and the vibration motion you stand on never disappoints. It has lofi music built in that it plays or some kind of relaxation music vibe you can listen to while getting your Enhancement. I also love how this location has all hydromassagers!! 2 sitting and 2 laying flat ones. The bathrooms for women's is immaculate as well! Really roomie with light up mirrors at the sink station to wash. I love how clean their showers are too and spacious. I even love how the tile work is done in their women's restroom. I can't speak for the men's but I definitely love the women's. Their relaxed room has a flat screen TV and black leather love seat U can sit and relax on as well, which I think is awesome for the guests. The TRX room has a all in 1 machine area I really love too, so you can utilize their little area instead of the main floor area to do some of the same stuff needed and more! Love this location. The layout is wide and open to you can see the whole gym, for the most part, when you walk in. The bathrooms have a easy to navigate layout with the changing area immediately when you enter. Then the bathroom stall are ALL wide. Not just the ADA stalls but all the stalls .I can't tell you how many times I've been in a public restroom and the stall is so tiny a person barely fits in there! The relaxing area is great too. They have a handful of tanning beds and massage chairs tucked away so it's quiet and away from the chaos of the gym. read more

Took a shit & a shower walk back to my locker and my lock has been removed with all my shit sitting inside of it for anyone to take. Also in the month I've been coming here I've seen two to three other members have their locks cut off by an employee while the member walks in after his workout to ask why his lock was just cut off! Wtf are you guys doing? I call the front desk and he can't even tell me if he or the other members cut it off ... like a member is going to walk in with a lock cutter bust the lock off then not take a thing. I got to say this place really is the cleanest gym I've seen. I thought I would, for one week, try all the gyms in the area. And honestly this one gets my vote. Crunch was okay but too busy and too many young kids, Orange Theory was cool but not really my style of workout and very expensive. You can't beat the price of Planet Fitness. I was able to get on every machine in the morning. And like I said VERY CLEAN! The only thing that would make the gym 5 stars is if the locks were self locking. I never enjoyed the bring in your own lock thing. And you need to bring your own towel. But other than those two things, awesome gym. read more

I am so irritated!!! Just signed my daughter up for this gym on Saturday my daughter has been 3 times and tonight parked right out front and comes out to a smashed window. Normally would not rate a place for random acts of theft and violence. But the employees reaction gets them a 1 star from me. They literally have no cameras but she tells my daughter this happens all the time at least 1x per week. Thank goodness she had nothing of value in the car l, but to know you have a problem and don't have a security guard patrolling the parking lot is an absolute joke! read more

Went with my wife to sign up, until they wanted my bank direct routing number. I asked why, if I'm already giving you my credit card number, they said it's just what they require. Lots of cybersecurity hacking going on these days, not even a 371 billion bank can escape getting hacked, Equifax, Target, Hospitals, Doordash, all been hacked, so why should I give my bank account routing info in addition to my credit card info to this company? To pay for a 23/mo or 10/mo gym membership? I just spent 3 years reconciling a identity theft on my social security number, and I have worked in the cybersecurity industry! Beware because when it happens you will live to regret it. I'll go across the street to Crunch Fitness, better personnel, and gym equipment anyways. read more

I do not often take the time to write reviews, but I felt I owed it to this Rocklin PF. I am a gym snob and usually prefer the likes of the larger more expansive gyms like LifeTime or Villa. However, both of those are too far for me now that I have moved and I so I tried a number of gyms in the Rocklin (landing at PF). The staff are friendly, and always willing to help (with a smile). They are not distracted when they greet you and always show a can-do attitude! The gym equipment is plentiful (literally you are not usually waiting too long for any specific item) and the patrons are respectful. I constantly see gym-goers wiping now equipment after EACH use. This is not usual in gyms. Great vibe and energy at this gym, and keep up the good work Rocklin, PF! read more

Okay so the newest one yet! Pretty spacious but I must say the layout of the ab area is too small . I did enjoy my time here. But I had to wait for a few women to get done with their own ab routine so I could continue mine! Overall new Equipment! Everything else is pretty nicely laid out! They closed in Nov. 2020 i think, and now it is February and gyms across the street are open but this Planet Fitness has made no effort to communicate an expected reopen date. If you see the following clause in your contract... "However, if you are a California resident and joined a club online you may also terminate your membership online by logging into your Planet Fitness account." ...they are lying to you. There is actually nowhere online to terminate your account, and if you call, they play stupid and tell you they don't know what you are talking about. I had to make them call an off-shift manager just to get some kind of possible resolution. I still don't know if they will keep their word on what we agreed to on the phone, as they cannot even honor their own contract. They basically are not honoring their own contract, and I would be really careful about doing business with them. read more

The one day I actually got to finally use this gym in September they took the whole year's membership fees. Shortly thereafter they closed their doors again. Placer County has fairly lenient COVID related requirements in place, and nearly every other gym facility is open in some fashion. I feel this is unexcusable and my money should be returned to say the least, regardless of the fact that I will most likely never return to any of their facilities at this point. read more

All of the staff are extremely nice and friendly-always greeting you, getting to know you, and saying goodbye when you are done with your workout. They do a great job of keeping the facility super clean and safe (especially during covid times). Prior to becoming a member, I tried out multiple gyms, and this was my favorite option. For the price, the equipment, and the staff, I highly recommend it! read more

The only thing is the tanning beds are always really dirty, the cleaners provided don't work well. The oil from the tanning lotion smears all around the glass. I got a bad rash all over my back after using the lay down bed. So I just decided to use the stand up beds instead. read more

I came in on a day-pass after being turned away from 24 Hour Fitness (which is no longer 24 hours) since they would not accept the day-pass I signed up for with them. I ended up going for a monthly membership here. It's clean, spacious, and has all the basic equipment I need for a productive workout. My daughter invited me to go with her to this Planet Fitness because she raved about an employee by the name of Jennifer (Jenn) being the reason she decided to join and continued to workout at this location though it is not very close to her home. She felt it was worth the drive. As soon as we walked in Jennifer acknowledged us and made you feel like she invited you for tea. She did one better than that, she invited me to see her beautiful gym she was proud to show off and all the hard work her and her coworkers do keeping this location in top shape and checking on customers and seeing if they needed anything. I had no intention of joining another gym as I currently belonged to two other Fitness clubs! By the time we were done working out and joked around with Jennifer, I decided I was signing up! I did not sign up because the name Planet Fitness, I signed up because of this one employee! I canceled the other two memberships I held. Unfortunately, Covid hit in 2020 and we were without a gym. Not only were we unable to workout Jennifer was not there when it reopened. We understand she was transferred to another location in order for her to be able to move up into an Assistant Management position. Unfortunately, the gym is not the same. It's not as clean and we're always looking for paper towels and spray to clean down the machines. Customer service isn't the same and that's unfortunate because many members have left once she was gone. I hope the owners realize the gem they have with Jennifer and bring her back to this location before more members decide to leave. I wish Jennifer the best and hope she moves up the ladder as she deserves it!!! The other gal that is here does not have the best bedside manner and as we know poor service means loss of business. read more
