But if you want to establish a feasible workout routine and make the most out of your workouts, join this gym. Before GISFW I never worked out regularly. I belonged to the YMCA but only went about 5 times in the year I had a membership. Now, I'm on a regular workout schedule 1 hour a day, 3 days a week which I've never had in my life. This place really helps you establish a routine and holds you accountable. If you're not showing up to appointments, there are consequences! When I don't workout on Monday, I actually miss it and I feel off. I'm so grateful to all the women (both staff and members) for making this a friendly, non-intimidating gym atmosphere. Half the time I'm getting a great ab workout from laughter! You can choose how often you want to work out, and fit it into own schedule. It's completely customizable to your needs. I've been searching for a gym in this area for a while, trying everything from cheap gyms with tons of equipment to class lead circuit training but nothing really worked for me or got me appreciating a workout until developing a routine here. My fitness level and how I've felt about my body has yo-yoed my whole life. During the pandemic I fell into a particularly lazy cycle and could not find motivation on my own to come out of it. I've worked with Mel, Mark, and James and have come out of all sessions feeling better (exhausted, but better) about my body. Although I'm usually a bit too out of breath to talk, every trainer is easy to talk to which obviously makes going into a work out way more enjoyable. They also each demonstrate professionalism and knowledge that make me confident that I'm making the right decision following this program and that I'm safe in each movement. Adjacent to the Best Buy located in Square One Mall, this space has exchanged hands many times over the years. And now it's Ultraflex Gym. Top of the line equipment, wide open space with lots of sweet Iron to satisfy all them Iron Addicts. Two floors of some great equipment, good vibes and overall a solid environment for any sort of fitness lover looking to improve themselves. However their membership fee is a bit high in comparison to other gyms in the area. Would absolutely join if they had more cost effective membership offerings.
