Friendly staff. Clean facilities and machines. Horrible maintenance- onenew machine has been broken for over four months.

I'm a member I enjoy working out here. Everything is kept clean. When you use equipment afterwards clean off where you used it.

This Waynesboro va location is horrible, equipment keeps falling poor cleaning of the showers and the worst thing ever not business practical is when your wife and you get disrespect by the maneger Anthony , calling you names like truck driver wich I hope that if a truck driver is reading this he or she goes in there and ask for the maneger and ask him what's wrong with being a truck driver . I read a post of another location and I agree with what that person said during pandemic all clean now no one gives a dem , I was told that at night there is a male member so he doesn't clean the women restrooms so if there is a fungus or bacteria that will stay in there until the female comes in the next day . Planet fitness is getting ready to open another location in staunton va I hope the choose a better owner franchise for that location and better professional respectful crew dedicated to it clients read more

This is not my home location however I go here everytime I'm in Waynesboro. The staff is always friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. The equipment is always in good working order and I'm able to get in, get my workout done and get out in a reasonable time. I'd highly recommend this location. read more

This is my preferred Planet Fitness. The people are nice and the place is clean. If you can't read/comprehend a contract don't sign it. 1 year update:Still my absolute gym, and now they are 24/7!!! Can't beat this place!!! read more

The Waynesboro Planet Fitness location has withdrawn fees from our financial institution from March 13, 2020 through February 17, 2021 regardless of the 24 notated attempts made to cancel our memberships. We chose to discontinue involvement with this business due to their lack of adequate cleaning, their poor attempt with mask protocols, and no respect for social distancing among staff and visitors during a pandemic. These charges were unauthorized, and it should be considered theft! All attempts to contact additional personnel through the website and the number provided on the transactions to resolve the issue and receive full refunds have been met with rudeness, excuses, and lack of record keeping. The Regional manager and the Waynesboro Management team has notoriously failed to uphold their ethical and professional responsibility to serve the customers and protect them from fraudulent charges. Even after our Bank requested a date for resolution, the Waynesboro Planet Fitness management have refused to resolve this issue within a timely manner. Therefore additional complaints have been submitted to the appropriate resources. If you are looking for a new fitness option, please do your research before you have hundreds of dollars taken from you by a company who is only interested in the dollars... not the best interest of their clients. read more

This gym is extremely clean and bright and new and a pleasure to be in. I love the 30-minute circuit workout area, and I hardly ever have to share it with anyone when I'm there in the early mornings. There is a perfect amount of people there to make it feel energized and welcoming, but it never feels crowded. The locker rooms are extremely clean. read more

Good experience in my tour of the gym. Very basic gym, "judgement free zone" was heavily expressed.. not a terrible walk through and over view. Pricing is somewhat reasonable considering all the amenities you get. They also have enough treadmills for an army. read more

The facilities were fine. I was a member that signed up before they even opened the doors. The location was near my job and I went on lunch break. The problem is when I got a new job in a different town and would no longer be in Waynesboro to use the facilities. I stopped in ,in early-mid August to stop my membership I signed a paper and was told it would draft once more in the next few days since it was my cycle date but that would be the final draft I understood that. 3 months later the money is still drafting from my account and when I called them they told me they would not refund the unused months that I did not stop the membership that I need to stop in to stop my membership. When asked if I stopped in once more to stop my membership how I would know it was cancelled when I was told back in August it was cancelled. She restated you will sign a paper. "You mean like I already have?" Very frusterating. I will be calling corporate and advising everyone I know to stay away from this establishment. read more

I am contacting the Virginia Better Business Bureau, the Chamber of Commerce, each of the owners of this franchise and of course, their headquarters. I am also going on every site that reviews Planet Fitness and recounting the customer service - or rather lack of customer service - that I received. I have never done this before but then, I've never been treated so poorly in a business environment. Their practice for billing me without any notification for their own error is outrageous. read more

My experience was less than adequate. When I first came in to sign up I was given information much different than what was on the website and what I had been told over the phone. I signed up anyway and asked about a tour of the facility (which is on the website that we receive a tour once we sign up or our first visit) The girl behind the counter proceeds to roll her eyes and say: "Well its basically what you see here..." I said I would still like a tour so I know where to start so she takes us around basically saying she doesn't know what certain rooms are used for or certain equipment then when we reach the front she proceeds to mock me on my choice of membership (I chose the no commitment $15 package which is only 10 extra dollars in membership fees the first day than the $10 package) she told me quote: "They basically charged you for the cancellation fee upfront...pretty stupid to have signed up for that one if you ask me." I almost responded with a "Well I guess you would know," quip but instead just left. Other than that my experience hasn't been bad, just not up to the hype. read more
