This gym was certainly an experience. My friend and I went once while looking for a new home gym in the meantime and we will not be back. It was so full and the meter online said that it was less busy at that time. There were groups of people sitting at machines on their phones so it was so hard to complete our workout. Dumbbells were missing from the racks. Machines not cleaned and honestly the whole gym smelled so bad. It was super frustrating the amount of times we would go to an area to use a machine and people would just be gathered around it or sitting there on their phone not allowing other people to use them. read more

Awesome planet fitness location. Clean equipment and locker rooms, usually well stocked with paper towels and cleaning solution as well. Very spacious gym, so doesn't get overwhelmingly crowded during the busy hours. Plenty of tanning and massage beds, I have never experienced a wait for any. Staff is very friendly and helpful. This location is not the closest to my home, but I travel the extra few minutes to come here. read more

Smith machines are NEVER open. People sit on the same machine for like 30 minutes on their phones. Any other Planet i've been to I don't have either of these issues. Staff is nice if they even see you walk through the door/acknowledge you. Don't see people going around cleaning as often as other locations. A lot of teens here this summer that will stand around in groups and chit chat. I just go to this one because it's closest to me but might have to switch since I can never use the machines I want. read more

I do not have a membership here, but have usually gone on holidays to work out and pay for the day pass. I have been there multiple times over the years, and actually considered just going ahead and getting a monthly pass. I walked in and asked for a day pass. The woman proceeded to say they do not provide day passes, but would confirm with her manager, which is very understandable. The manager did give me a day pass. I paid, and it took her forever just to get my personal information, whatever. As I was working out, a few staff members were coming up very close to me, staring, then walking away. It was very unnerving but I played it off as me being sensitive. However, as I was leaving, two staff members looked at the woman who I paid for a pass and said, oh is that her? This is creepy, disturbing, weird. I paid $20 for a day pass. I will never be going here again. Yikes!!! read more

I switched to Westerville BECAUSE they were the best tanning location due to quantity of machines, but sadly, they can't seem to hire enough staff for the past year & so all I've got is attitude & today it's 'unavailable ' 100% certain due to staff shortages! Hire enough people that you aren't driving a few into the ground to the point they lose their friendliness! I've seen the best personalities change over the year it's definitely a management issue. I'll be switching to another permanent location, maybe back to 23n or all the way to Sawmill. Too busy to wonder over half my days when I paid for these services. ​ read more

Don't sign up here. Allowed me to sign up my 17 year old son for a black card. He's been to the gym every day with a friend all month. Today they pulled the yearly fee from my bank and coincidentally stopped him going into the gym, to let him know he cannot use the weights and that they would be downgrading his membership because he is a minor. When I went in to cancel they informed me that they cannot refund the yearly fee (that they pulled today) per the fine print in the contract, once it is pulled it cannot be refunded. How coincidental that the same day they pulled the annual fee, they downgrade my son's membership. There is no number for corporate, they won't give you the owner's info, there are no supervisors to speak to in regards to the issue. This gym is scamming people left and right. So don't waste your money trying to save a couple $$$ just go to la fitness or crunch where they aren't looking to scam people out of their money. read more

Sunday Morning!! May 30, 2021 @ 6:10am I was being harassed and singled out by an employee. I was working out on a treadmill and the employee came by to clean a nearby stair master. 41 minutes into my workout, I stopped the treadmill and placed my jacket on the arm of the machine prior to wiping it down, per gym rules. The employee then approached me and told me not to place personal belongings on the equipment because 3 machines have been ruined that way(on a stopped treadmill?). However he didn't approach other gym members who had towels and bags draped on RUNNING machines. This is the second time he has approached me like this and because this happens only happens when I am alone, I feel too uncomfortable to workout here. read more

For such a big place it's very empty. There three stations for each machine that you use. There two different memberships, the 10 and the 22.99 which gives you access to all the benefits of the gym. I got the ten dollar one because I only focus on weightlifting there. read more

Decided to walk in after scheduling an appt to tour another gym that pretty much ignored me. Soon as I walked in and said I wanted to sign up I was offered a tour. The guy was super polite and the place was very spacious, clean, and had a lot of cool areas. I also liked that they had tvs with workouts if you didn't know what to do. I was supper impressed that they had a unisex bathroom and support non-binary individuals. The black spa was nice and overall the employees were very friendly greeting the guests as they walked by. Also being 24/7 is a plus. read more

Shortly before noon on May 30th, 2022, I was approached by Michael, the Planet Fitness - Westerville Plaza/Huber Village branch manager, while exercising. He indicated that gym policy forbade having backpacks on the ground and that I would need to put my hydration pack in the lockers. I explained that the last time I went to a Planet Fitness (Chicago / Lincolnwood), I had my locker broken into and my money stolen and asked if PF was willing to take responsibility in case that happened again. He answered in the negative. I then explained that I understood the policy, as a health and safety measure, prohibiting leaving clutter on the ground, and promptly put the hydration pack on my back. The whole exchange lasted less than a minute. Except from this point, the only words that came out of Michael's mouth were tense "You're going to have to leave". I pointed to the policy printed on the wall showing that packs shouldn't be on the floor. "You're going to have to leave". I asked can we find a solution here. "You're going to have to leave". He would not hear ANYTHING. "You're going to have to leave". I obeyed despite the gross abuse, as it became clear by Michael charged, excited voice that he was going to make this about exercising his power rather than actually enforcing policy rationally. We are talking about a small, 2L hydration bladder with pouches just big enough to fit my cellphone and wallet. Posters in the locker explicitly say to keep my valuables on me, where else am I supposed to keep them? It's a gym, my apparel does not have pockets. Would you rather I leave them loose on the floor, where they could be a hazard, rather than on my back? I was not opposed to using the lockers, that is indeed where I stored the street clothes I changed out. I find this behaviour not only disrespectful but also to be the very opposite of what customer service is supposed to be like. I am very surprised that A MANAGER of all people would lose his composure so quickly, and show extremely poor judgement in his use of discretionary power (this "clear floor" rule is hardly ever enforced in *any* of the dozens of Planet Fitness branches I've visited, and virtually all patrons have a bottle, towel and cellphone on the floor near them), show absolutely no willingness to work with the client to find a solution, and ultimately resort to drastic measures at the first sign of conflict. Granting such an individual a managerial position reflects very poorly on the person who hired him, and on the organization as a whole. read more
