Excellent Care, Personalized Serice, Great facility - if you need physiotherapy this is the place…read moreto go! Hopefully you live in the area so you can attend this clinic for first class care! Not only will you receive excellent hands on care, you will build a relationship with your physiotherapist that allows you to move quickly into recovery and start acheiving your fitness & health goals. David & Mark will keep you motivated, encourage you during your recovery time and educate you on how your body works. After attending a different physiotherapy clinic for several months I was not seeing the desired recovery results with my injury - so I searched around and came across Physiofit. I'm so glad I did. The physiotherapy I had been receiving invovled 3 visits / wk, performing a circuit of excercises that never really changed or weren't specific to MY injury but rather the excercises to any person with difficulties in that part of the body. My physiotherapist / kinesiologist would talk to me, every few weeks maybe spend 2 minutes 'examining' me. I'd spend a little time on the ultrasound / tens machine or icing/heating the injury... that was it. No progress in my recovery was very frustrating... Enter Physiofit! My first visit was to the old office, a smaller office that didn't have a large facility for working out - but it was big enough to accomodate the clients present. I was surprised that my appointment slot was MINE, and not shared with 20 other people who were there to 'do excercises'. The initial assessment was very extensive, I felt like they really cared about understanding and helping me overcome my injury and get back in the game. The following appointments all included one-on-one time with the physiotherapist Dave / Mark where they worked with me, taking a hands on approach to assisting in the recovery. Each appointment included a hands on assessment of my injury / overall well being and when necessary paired with instruction / review of ongoing excercises catered to strengthening muscle groups to further my recovery. The new clinic on Rhodes drive provides an excellent opportunity for additional services and tailored care to each client. This clinic boasts additional examination rooms, a larger area to work out on / stretch as well as additional equipment that can be modified and used for various strength training or conditioning excercises. Both Mark and Dave are able to work with you in reaching your fitness and / or recovery goals. The location is central in Windsor, right off the expressway - so really quick to get to no matter where you are coming from. Plenty of parking. Flexible hours and the best care you could ask for. Good luck in your recovery, head to this clinic and be confident they will do their very best to accomodate and assist you in whatever your needs are.

Each of them only had 1 injury to heal, whereas I had/have 3 significant injuries that need advanced treatment and expertise, as they effect each other and are complicated by neuromuscular issues. Their way of doing things is like most places where they juggle a few clients each hour, which can result in you waiting for help or a new exercise, but I appreciated my physiotherapist's bed side manner. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, and personable, but I found it distracting, and at times off-putting, when some would gossip with each other or with my physio as I'm getting worked on. They do have a good reputation here, and an excellent little facility, so definitely worth trying them out. I learned a lot from them! It just wasn't the right fit for me and my conditions.

During the day is when I worked out and most teens are respectful and follow good gym etiquette. I said 'most'. Some of the 'free members' (most always male) are rude, pushy, disrespectful and haven't a clue about etiquette, form, etc. They do have bad attitudes which, I suppose is all they feel they need. The gym is also very crowded with machines and weights not available at certain times. This made working out there in the summer a hellish endeavour. This went on at this gym but I have also seen it at other Goodlife Fitness gyms. I also resented, as a paying member, being forced to endure managements' decision to allow free members that cause crowding and other annoyances at the expense of paying members. Think about it; Goodlife Fitness has decided, as a marketing scheme, to provide free memberships to teens in the hopes of it being perceived as a community spirited corporate gesture, but in reality is doing so at the expense of paying members and also hoping to entice the teens to become paying members during the winter months or when they are no longer teens. Its a cynical analysis, but fairily accurate I presume. Paying members should demand that their membership fees be waived during the summer months also as a gesture of goodwill and as compensation for the inconveniences and annoyances that they have to endure. I would give this gym and all Goodlife Fitness locations '0' stars but 1 star is the minimum.

Staff were horrible when it came to deal with a client who had been bothering a lady ref questions…read moreabout my whereabouts so much so I went in to deal with it myself I was very upset and he wasn't there that day would be in tomorrow...I had spoken to a co worker who said she understood left with no issues . Went back following morning to hear she had spoken to the man concerned and then I went to ask for her by this time was in staff office wouldn't come talk to me ? I just wanted to know what she had said so I had an idea of the situation...however the manager was there who normally never there that early I wanted to speak to have him at least understood he showed no care or understanding towards a female as myself when you are information a client is acting obsessive behavior of course its a concern I even called the police 2 days previous for there advice who suggested I go into the gym tell the gentleman to stop and to leave alone ...officer saying you should be safe as there are staff to help ...finally the man came out of dressing room and I confronted him in front of manager he denied everything.....manager just stands there saying nothing at least he should have said to him ...please refrain from contact and make me feel comfortable but said NOTHING the gentleman asked can we take it outside i looked at manager hoping he would say no you can go sit down and talk so I can keep an eye on both parties ...he didn't care he just wanted it outside the gym I asked him can you keep an eye on me to be honest I was scared to how things may turn out...thankfully once we spoke but still denied he left I went back in ...as a retired Manager I know human resources would be not happy at the staff at the gym he made me feel I was the issue instead of a victim he shows lack of empathy or safety of his female clients I had not been in the gym for weeks the female staff member it was ridiculous her hiding in the office I even texted her to come talk to me so unprofessional....God forbid anything more serious happens the staff do not know how to help or deal with a situation more training is needed to deal with such situations as if a woman is harrast its the gyms responsibility to deal with it only comments he kept saying over and over again my concern is my gym ...I even made a phone call while in the gym to police asking them to talk to him which they did once off the phone he never took it seriously or should I say didn't give a dam ! I'm just a 64yr woman so obviously not a concern of my well-being before I left i spoke with him once again explaining why im hurt and upset he just stands there just nodding and again his concern was the gym ...I even apologized that he came in early that alone I could see had not made him happy there was no need for him to be there his employer obviously had a concern that's why he was there but let's be honest he did NOTHING ....I left went home in tears feeling like not once did they show any consideration of my self worth or safety....let me make it clear the man who started all this was not violent just obsessive behavior from what I was informed. In this day and age we know things can turn ugly at any time...I am a victim of domestic violence this is why I asked advice from the Police who were very nice and understanding and I felt proud I had the nerve to go deal with this myself yes I acted tuff on the outside but it was to show I had control and not have a man make me feel I couldn't stand up for myself and felt I would have support and understanding which I had none ...the staff made me feel like a criminal not a victim shame on them ! I truly feel so hurt that now I know its best I cancel my membership as they showed no respect being a woman of a certain age if anything i should have had that . Ladies stay safe and don't rely on staff to help when it comes to issues such as this ...

This location at the Central Park Athletics is fairly new, this used to be the Windsor Ice Rink years ago, and I have since moved back from London a few months ago and have seen the change. The building itself inside is vast and has lots of immensities for people and families of all kind, it's a no judgement area, not like a gym where all you see is buff people working out seemingly judging you. It's nice to have access to the equipment I liked to use at Goodlife for workouts, and the weight area. It's nice because it's not busy during the weekdays at all and it's a nice quiet environment to work out in. The staff are really nice and they're knowledgeable about events, and were very clear about things when I signed up. As for monthly membership fees, if you're on a fixed income or a family rate, you get a certain discount that you can afford, which I still need to sign up for because I'm still paying more than what I did at Goodlife. This facility is clean, it has a basketball court, a pool, family changing rooms as well as men and women's. Friendly staff, good working equipment, they have a weight room, cardio area is always clean and they have a disinfectant spray and cloth to wipe the equipment off when you're finished using it. What a great place to come to for a judgement free workout and a place to feel like you belong.

This a decent workout place. Relatively new facility. Clean. Most importantly family oriented.read more
