At this point I was satisfied. Then 8 days later I found myself flying thru a red light and right into traffic The brake lines went out With my 7 yr old in the backseat I was livid But I do realize what AS IS means so I had them fixed Then 7 days later the car shut off in traffic Once again another scary ass situation I also received my title and noticed that there was about 1200$ in overcharges on my sales bill So I called Mike and after discussing everything he agreed to refund me $300. My vehicle at this point was broken down and I had to have a mobile mechanic come look at it I was told the vehicle needed a crankshift sensor replaced and there were 7 other codes showing and it was leaking antifreeze Mike is a nice guy but I'm wondering how a nice guy could be selling essential DEATH TRAPS I had the sensor replaced and the car still isn't starting All of this and I haven't even received my hard plates yet I am terrified to even drive this car after all of these incidents I asked Mike to swap me out a new vehicle He refused I have contacted my attorney But I feel that people should know the kinds of cars he is selling I wanted a car that was safe and reliable I got a scary "death trap" Buyer Beware!!!

I started calling around because my brakes were squeaking, just doing price checks like anyone would. RT Barrett Auto Sales was only the second place I called but something about his spirit over the phone made me stop right there. I didn't even feel the need to keep calling other places. That alone says a lot. When I arrived, I was greeted by Ron and his wife, and from that moment on, the energy was nothing but warm, welcoming, and genuine. They were both incredibly kind, and you can just tell they truly love what they do. The shop itself? CLEAN, organized, and comfortable. Not your typical auto shop at all. They had a TV set up, asked what me and my son wanted to watch (my son is autistic, so that meant a lot), and we ended up enjoying SpongeBob and Madagascar together. They also had a fridge stocked with drinks, name-brand snacks like Lays chips, pretzels, and even a big jar of candy. It honestly felt more like a welcoming space than a waiting room. The Service Department is shockingly unprofessional and downright rude. If you dare to leave a negative review--even if it's 100% truthful--they'll retaliate by blocking your account. That's not just bad business, it's unethical. What's even more disturbing is the number of lawsuits filed against this dealership by their own employees. That alone should be a red flag for anyone considering doing business here. How this place is still operating is beyond me. Save yourself the headache.
