Although my last visit left a less than desirable taste I decided to stop by out of convenience's sake as it is the closest smoothie spot by work. It was 8:30am when I arrived and I noticed the chalkboard in the window with "Business hours: 9-6." All of the lights were off but I noticed a worker inside. I decided to try my luck and went to open the door. The worker greeted me as she finished counting the cash drawer. I was able to order my smoothie (Zeus Juice) and was in and out within 5 minutes! They've made the switch to plastic cups (from styrofoam). The smoothie was blended well and there were no chunks of ice/fruit. I went back the following Monday for another smoothie, this time around 8:40am. This time all of the lights were on and the same worker greeted me. Again, I was in and out in a breeze! Not sure if the worker was being accommodating by taking my order before 9am or their business hours need updating but either way, kudos to the sweet worker! read more

I needed a protein smoothie, found this place by my work. They have a decent size selection. I went for the "get up and go" I think was the name. And I ordered a medium size. The medium size is huge! And it was $8, which is quite cheap. I enjoyed the flavor of the smoothie as well. The inside was kept clean, and there are codes for the restrooms, which is understandable given the area. I ordered the Heavenly Nutella Açai bowl with extra Nutella. They did not add the blueberries to my bowl, and the strawberries were frozen instead of fresh. They also did not use Nutella, but chocolate sauce. For the extra money I paid for extra Nutella, it was quite disappointing. The bowl itself was not bad, but nothing I would order again. read more

Walked in, it was pretty quiet besides the person on the phone; there was a worker sitting in the middle of the restaurant at a table on the phone. She looks like she may have been the manager but I could be wrong. Either way it didn't look great. I worked in food and beverage for several years (7) and I feel it would have been best that she sat in corner or back of restaurant not right in middle in uniform (that's just me). I was greeted by Kali at the front, marvelous young lady. She was ready to take my order although I am VERY indecisive so after a few moments I told her it was my first time and I needed a bit to look at the menu. After about 2 minutes, I started getting overwhelmed at all the choices (as I normally do when I'm trying to decide on something new) so I asked her for her recommendations. I then asked a few more fog questions, told her I was in between three different options... And she picked the Fiji Island Breeze and told me it was one of her faves. I very much enjoyed it although it was a wee bit different. If I'm in the area, I will be back. I was craving a smoothie and this place was by my house. I came here with my son to get something healthy. The person at the front was nice. Way talkative to the point it was hard to pick a drink... But I get it, people get bored. I was excited for my drink until he confessed he decided to make his own concoction. Um, I don't recall asking for that... I have food allergies so there are certain things I can't have. This place is very close to my house and I wanted to try something new besides jamba. They had a lot of options to choose from and I don't particularly remember what I got, but I remember thinking about how much I liked it because it wasn't overly sweet, it tasted very real, like not full of sherbet or ice cream. I love less sweet smoothies personally. Like naturally sweet is better, I would have ordered a milkshake if I wanted something extra sweet haha. They're open an hour later in their drive thru than lobby which is super nice of them. However it's kinda hard to see that they're open still. Because their lobby lights are off, so it's kinda deceiving. When I went, I ended up calling to make sure they were open because they looked closed. That doesn't bring the review down at all on my end but maybe helpful for them to know so they could get more business if they wanted? I also understand not wanting a lot of business in your last hour of being open because you wanna focus on closing, again I've worked in the food industry for along time. I ordered a smoothie online. I was trying to pick it up on my break however . I was not aware of how far the location was . I called in to possibly cancel my order today 9/14/2023 The young lady that was there didn't know how to cancel the order . Which is fine but she hung up in my face without telling me what she can do .. So after calling back several times because my call was ignored she picked up to say call back someone would be in that knows how to help with a cancellation . I called back and there's a older man . Extremely rude .. kept talking over me and just hung up .. All I wanted to do was cancel my order .. Someone should be there that is knowledgeable about these things .. But hopefully since my charge is still pending and I didn't pick up the order my money will go back on my card .. Fast forward to COVID-19 and I decided to give Planet Smoothie another chance. All I will say is, skip the rude & condescending business. Head 5 minutes west Tempe Marketplace and Nekter for a wonderful experience. Check out Nutrition Boutique or Nutrition Stop. Avoid this business at all cost. Excellent! I'm a starbucks junkie and I was looking for a place to stop and dink coffee in Mesa while I waited to go to work. Talk about a score. First off, the bagels are 99cents and they are really good, secondly the wifi is free so I was able to browse the internet without hassle, third, the small coffee was like $1.39, and fourth the decor is nice and they have a flat screen tv so you can get the news while you sit. The location is downtown Mesa so it has that historical feel. They also serve breakfast and open at 7am. This place was such a disappointment. I went with a friend and we ordered breakfast sandwiches and the fat burning smoothie. The smoothie tastes so processed and has the consistency of a 711 slurpie. It also took them 25 minutes to make a baccon egg and cheese and there was so little bacon and egg on the actual sandwhich that i might as well have just ordered a plain bagel. Not to mention they also "forgot" to make our smoothies so we sat there for 30 minutes waiting and had to go up to the staff to remind them to make our smoothies. The menu has a nice variety of items in each category whether you prefer a sandwich, wrap, or salad! Their side of potato salad is pretty darn good too!
