Their honey lavender latte cannot be beat. I have tried to find one as good as this one at another place and I am always disappointed. Also get a load of that cheese pull on the chorizo burrito. My daughter loved it! I tried to order the eggs Benedict in a Tuesday but it's only available on weekends. Too bad for my taste buds I had to eat a croque madame and holy bananas it was amazing. I was pleasantly surprised by this place! I have seen it for the longest time and have passed by it for several years and finally had the chance to check it out. Although parking can seem to be a bit of a nightmare right in that plaza, we happened to get lucky and get a parking spot right in front. The line also wasn't too bad, they had several different brunch options to choose from with a few of the favorites listed. my best friend wanted to come here and i'm so glad we did, we got the chilaquiles, french toast, earl grey tea, hibiscus limeade and the pumpkin spice latte, both food items were a 10/10, so flavorful and perfectly made, i appreciated the chilaquiles being slightly spicy and the salsa they put on them was delicious which i was shocked cause most brunch spots have bland tasting salsa, all the workers i interacted with were nice and welcoming, the set up inside and outside is so cute, the hibiscus limeade wasn't too sweet which is perfect for me and the pumpkin spice latte is by far the best one i've ever had in my life! the prices are reasonable for the quality of food you get, definitely excited to come back! read more

Brunch here was good. We arrived last Sunday at noon and it was pretty busy. We found a table as it opened up and the worker quickly came over to clean it up for us. I ordered the ham and cheese omelet, toast, and potatoes. I also ordered a side of French toast to share with the table. The omelet was ok but it was just too plain for me as it was really bland. The potatoes were delicious though and those were seasoned well. The French toast were also pretty good and they were fluffy on the inside. The cashier was friendly and the inside was clean. Can confirm: still a cute spot to bring your pup on Central near uptown! We both got coffees and shared the Frenchie Toast. My cold brew coffee was ready immediately, and they forgot his mocha (but grabbed it when they brought our plate). They have updated it since we were here last: there's an outdoor walk up/bar area with stools and a dog bowl for water. When we went, we saw a man with his pet parrot on his shoulder. So this indoor/outdoor patio is still animal friendly! Frenchie Toast was damn good! Would absolutely get it again if we were craving some near Uptown. Only downside to this place is parking is kinda tough. You really either luck out and grab one, or you're going to be stuck having to get back on Central and make a u-turn (and then again) to circle around. This spot is right next to the light rail so it's essentially on a one-way road. read more

I mean you go in order your food first, they give you a table number, and they bring the food out to you. If you get drip coffee you go and serve yourself. Stopped for a late lunch, and even though they close at 3:00 and we arrived at 2:30, we were treated well by the person taking our order. (Don't worry--we were out before closing time!) There is a bar with what looks like beer, wine, and cocktails. And if course lots of specialty coffee. This place is clearly pretty popular, as there were still many people when we walked in. There is patio seating, an indoor/outdoor bar, and a large high-top table for bigger groups--both were full of people. It's a great aesthetic with beamed ceilings, wood on the walls, great lighting fixtures, and empty egg carton cups on the ceiling, which look pretty cool. There is also a bar. The menu has more breakfast than lunch choices, but everything sounds good. We had the chicken pretty sandwich and the chicken chopped salad. Both were delicious and quite large. There's no real server, you order at the counter and they bring your food out when it's ready. There is a nice, young people vibe here and it's a pretty interesting modern environment. Very casual. I tried the quiche from their specials which was so tasty--it came out hot and had mushrooms, spinach, and gruyere cheese with a nice crust. The salad it came with was lacking as far as flavor of the dressing, I think it was just heavy on the olive oil and made it a a little bitter. Could use a more acidic dressing especially with the arugula. The coffee drinks were all delicious. The caramelito and horchata latte were on the sweeter side, but the coffee and flavor combos were good. I would personally recommend the xocolate one for a stronger and less sweet coffee. read more
