We don't have a Planet Wings where we live so it was a different place to eat passing through Poughkeepsie What a nice place. The staff was really friendly and I could see they enjoyed each other's company They served us which I didn't expect and the food? Today will be the last day I order anything from Planet Wings. First off, you can tell there's a problem obviously with I think the management because nobody wants to work there very little staff and there's always a sign on the door that they need help counter help. Secondly, I placed an order through the app. I go there to pick it up, an older guy asked my name and all that and said he didn't have an order for me and he's talking to me like it's the first time I ever used the online app or something so we couldn't find the order and I said to him why don't you just ask your employees in the back that make the food if they made a Gyro this condescending says I know what was made and that wasn't it oh really? Just by the way, the man spoke to me. I can just imagine how he speaks to his employees because he was caught "the manager, I can see why nobody wants to work there because he has this about him that I am the best. I know everything don't question me that type of attitude well Needless to say, I said a couple choice words well profanities, and left. Never ever ever again will I step foot in that place with their little dwarf wings. And should be ashamed of themselves the prices they charge for those little dwarf wings. The Thai Chicken salad priced at $15.74 is a total rip-off. There is about .25 c of chicken, in a 7" x 7" x 1" plastic dish of limp lettuce with a few shreds of cabbage. Ingredients for this salad probably total $3 at the most. I won't buy this again read more

Awful don't waste your time avoid anyplace that sells wings by the piece remember they buy chicken by the pound and so they buy the smallest chickens possible . Their wings are about the thickness of my pinky and about as long as my thumb. Bevis as they are so small, they are over cooked dried up tiny pieces not worth the money or effort stick to places that' sell buy the pound. I have a favorite salad I always order here, by the time I modify it its 15.00. That's not the issue. The last 3 times it came with gooey black avocados. The reason the salad is so expensive is basically the avocado. Black like no one looked at it before it was served. The wings USED to be good before this location closed now they're asking top dollar for the most pathetic small baby wings Ive ever seen. Seriously they mist be killing chicks for the cheapest meat. I hadn't ever been in a Planet Wings location before until I walked into this one yesterday evening when my brothers, grandmother and I went out for supper. My brother was craving chicken wings and I wanted to find out so much about this chain. However, the first looks of this chain didn't appeal to me. Not only did I get confused at the setup of this wing place once you walk in the door and are greeted by the pizza shop- finding the wing place takes a short few steps to the right and around the corner and through, but then after placing two orders (my grandma was paying in cash and wanted her change and I was paying for my own on my debit card), we had to wait. There is no direct route to this place but to go through the pizza joint's doors- of which the pizza joint is differently labeled. Throughout the order, we kept filling them in on the specifics, but they never really listened to the specifics we were telling them. They asked for the sauce type for her (she's a 91 year old bless her heart) kids meal Dino Nuggets, but once the food came out, they completely missed the sauce and after bringing it out to her in the car, we realized she was also missing a straw and although we ended up forgetting to inform them of "no ice", I don't believe they would've listened and put the beverage through - ice or no ice. (They later did get the sauce but I also saw the sign for additional sauces at a price that truly made me feel she'd get double charged for their mistake! (Check your stuff carefully before walking out.) I on the other hand, ordered a BBQ Bacon+Cheddar (Cheeseburger) and although at first I wasn't contemplating a complete meal, when they mentioned a meal was available, I got thinking "that wasn't mentioned on the menu" but added that option on - because adding the other pieces was a way to save money and added more items into the mix. I kind of like that they give you the option to change regular fries out for curly fries, although I do wish they would've mentioned that the curly fries were seasoned a little more than at other similar places. I have IBS and while fairly common to have it triggered by seasoning, I'm glad today's order didn't trigger it - throughout the evening. Their curly fries weren't any spicier than other curly fries elsewhere, but comparing it to the regular fries my grandma always gets, I should have been told there's a possibility that their curly fries could be spicier. However, although I loved that you used applewood smoked bacon, I would've enjoyed a little more barbecue on the burger - for the price I paid- I deserved more than about a teaspoon full of barbecue sauce. I was hungry, so I ate it either way. It wasn't so much their fault as it was my own. I was not used to the brand and I don't think anything could have prevented this situation from arising. The one preparer our front wondered why I was still standing there waiting for my own food when the last he saw me I was bringing the food to my grandma - unknowledgable my order was out there waiting to be served from two different financial sources. Service was rather intriguing, and the sodas were rather short-listed, but for what I needed them for, I got ample substitutes for my Coca Cola favorites- in Pepsi products - much to my disliking - Sierra Mist for my Sprite favorite. The new renovation looks great on planet wings. Similar prices, friendly service and great wing options make this establishment a proper competitor to many in the area. They even added a pizzeria literally one wall over, so if you're not into chicken, there is hope. read more

I called the restaurant waaay before 930 the guy places me on a long hold then tell me he can't take my order because it's after 930p I looked at the time and it was 9:33pm I said it's 3 mins after 9:30 and you've placed me on a long hold . The guy didn't apologize he just said yeah whatever I can't take your order because we have too clean so I can leave by 10 wtf is that suppose to mean you dnt sale alcohol so you dnt have to follow the New York State law for a business that asking alcohol smh so disappointed in the people you have at your business ! I was SHOCKED that not all the personnel behind the counter were wearing masks, and standing within inches of each other!!

First time visiting this location. The only employees wearing masks were staff at the register, not cooks. After waiting outside for a bit, I returned inside to see the cashier packaging my food without gloves and/or previously washing her hands which I commented on. I ordered wings & fries which were mediocre at best. They also messed up my friend's order of lemon pepper wings and gave her hot wings instead. I'd steer clear of this location for a bit, seems like they are still working out some kinks. read more

I've been going to this location for a while now. When they first opened, things were a bit rocky. I didn't want to make my judgment at that point. However, now I feel that have things all under control. The customer service is top notch. I love how when I place my orders they automatically know who I am. I just wish they kept past orders on file so I can just say give me the same as last time. The food is good and always prepared just how I like it. Pricing is pretty fair for the amount of food. The in restaurant setting is nice, laid back, modern, and always clean. The parking is usually adequate although it's shared with another restaurant. If I could give more than five stars, I definitely would without a doubt. read more
