The worst part about my experience here was the crazy people out front yelling at me as I pulled in and out for my appt, other than that, the staff were amazing! My morning started off with light bleeding at about 5-6 weeks pregnant. I contacted planned parenthood and they were able to squeeze me in for a last minute appt. I was an anxious mess through the entire appt afraid that my early pregnancy was not viable. They spoke with calm, reassuring tones as they asked me all the necessary questions and performed an ultrasound, which ultimately confirmed my little bean was still with me and that there was a fetal pulse. I am beyond grateful for the kindness I was shown by the staff here! read more

The person I spoke with refused to tell me, saying it's against their policy, but she'd be happy to schedule an appointment for me. Do not come here, go to a different location. The receptionist was asking me more questions about her job than I was and had absolutely no clue what she was doing, she kept running back and forth to ask other people my questions because she couldnt answer them ( they were extremely simple) I can understand if they are new but this person seemed to work there for a minute. The nurse was SO rude, very unwelcoming, so negative and just acted like she didnt want to be there. making my experience so hostile and horrible. The actual doctor just didnt care what so ever, quick with her answers, didnt want to explain anything, and was just dismissive and unhelpful and unwelcoming once again. If you have to make that hard decision do not come here because they will just make you feel worse and completely unheard and unwelcome. read more

Idk why people are always so rude at planned parenthood, was hoping this location was different but it wasn't. For a business whole purpose being helping women navigate and plan pregnancies u think they would be gentle and empathetic when talking to u but they aren't, went in because I had some positive urine test and negative and all of my family and friends suggested a blood test to be sure, since many women test negative even through out their pregnancy due to hormones and blood type. The lady at the front was much nicer than the actual nurses and doctors in the back I asked if I could possibly have a blood test to confirm the negative urine test to be sure- because being pregnant on nexplanon can be Deadly, and they spoke to me so disrespectfully- talked to me like I was crazy for even asking that- and then I asked why they don't offer that- and the lady said- "we just don't, the only way u would get a blood test if u are already pregnant then we would schedule an abortion" ok woah why was that ur first go to, not everyone wants an abortion, while we are fortunate to have that option in California her saying if I was pregnant they would schedule an abortion was so disrespectful- u didn't even ask if that was something I would want if I was pregnant- there are other options don't assume every one who goes there wants an abortion- I went because I didn't have insurance- and if I'm nervous about being pregnant and ask for a blood test don't belittle my concern and talk to me like I'm stupid, a lot of places offer blood test at least speak to me with compassion. I went in today and it was the best experience! I was super nervous going in but the front clerk was so sweet and caring . My experience didn't just end there when I got called in the back the nurse was so welcoming and helpful. She talked me through everything and when she took my blood I barely even felt it. My doctor was also super respectful and nice. She answered every question I had and made sure I felt comfortable. I truly believe this is a 5 star health center! read more

My appointment was at 1pm and as I get checked in the receptionist mention it would be a longer wait since the staff were just coming off there lunch. I waited until 2pm still haven't been attended. was actually so stoked to come here for the first time just to wait almost 3 hrs and every other 30-40min wait I'd get asked questions regarding the fill out form & felt like each time I was getting pushed back in line regardless if people had arrived at a later time than me. Also received 3 confirmations for appointments over text and to no avail I still had to wait regardless if it was confirmed. Just to end up being told that they can't take me in and I'd have to wait till 12:45. Wish stuff was more accessible instead of being stuck here all day and not even seen inside. read more

One of the best experiences I've ever had at any doctor's office. I was helped at the front desk by Sammi, who was super helpful and kind when filling out the necessary paperwork. I was called back and greeted by Amber, who was the sweetest and really put me at ease with my concerns about birth control and other procedures. I'm sure you can imagine the range of visits they get at PP and mine wasn't for something ideal so when Amber saw that I was working up a sweat and getting kinda nervous she helped me calm down by letting me get a breather and use the restroom before going on. Angela was the woman who helped me last and she was, yet again, another angel in that office. She made sure every one of my questions were answered and was really thoughtful during the whole process. I had an appointment set for 10:40 a.m. I checked in around 10:25-10:30 just in case there was any paperwork that needed to be filled out. After waiting, more waiting and people who came in after me with appointments later than mine were called into the back for treatment, I finally went to stand in line at the front desk to inquire how much longer until I will be seen. At this time, it was already 12:10 p.m. I continued to wait in line (I was the only one in line) for a couple minutes. The front desk staff said it would be another minute, but before they even called me up, the nurse finally came out and called my name to head back. Once in the room, the nurse was very apologetic, friendly and knowledgeable (the only reason for 3 stars). After getting what needed to get done, I finally walked out to leave around 1:10 p.m. !!! So basically schedule an appointment on your day off from work or schools because the wait can be extremely long. read more

It Usually takes me at least 5 min to even let someone get near me with a needle but with her she took care of it all within 3-5 min and never had me feel scared not once ! I wish i could give less than one star. My friend went to this location yesterday because she found out she was pregnant and didn't know what to do. She wanted to explore her options and wanted to check herself to make sure everything ok. Upon arrival, while doing paperwork, she was asked by them if she wants an abortion or wants to keep it. She told them she was unsure and that she needed to talk to someone about it. THEY CANCELLED HER APPOINTMENT AND TOLD HER THIS WAS NOT THE PLACE FOR THAT. That she needs to go somewhere else. So basically if you're pregnant and are not 100% sure of termination, Planned Parenthood will literally turn you away. So much for them not being just about abortions... read more

Make sure when they a vaginal ultrasound that they put a cover over it. The nurse that did mine DID NOT. And I didn't realize until after when I looked over at the machine and saw the wand covered in goop. THAT IS BEYOND DISGUSTING. yeah absolutely not i had made my first app and when i said i was gonna be a little late since i am coming from out of state, they told me to still come in but i probably wont be seen, first of all thats ridiculous. why tell me to come in knowing i most likely wont be seen? and when i came back the next week i was early to my app and was not seen til 3 hours later. multiple people walked in n out by the time i was seen, i asked kindly that if im not gonna be seen soon to let me know because i cannot sit here and end up not getting seen. they decided to drug test me instead n still made me wait. do not come here. i didnt not have a issue with costumer service they were the nicest workers but how they do things are so unprofessional read more

Great experience! Everyone was very nice, I went in for a few things and although had to remind them about stuff I was asking about, we got it all taken care of. My insurance doesn't cover birth control or some other things & they were able to get me approved for the green card for family services. Did some STD screening, got a needed prescription, and had an IUD put in that I was very nervous about but they were great, comforting & encouraging. Also, minimal wait time (on a Monday), in and out in 2 hrs, including arriving early to fill out paperwork. read more

The wait time is forever. I waited over an hour with an appointment scheduled. When I went to the window I asked how much longer because it had already been over 40 minutes. She said that there was a complication in the back but I was never told until I went to go ask 40 minutes later. A walk in came in and they were seen right away. It's not fair. It's a waste of time. I love this planned parenthood. I've been coming to this location off and on for 9 years. For some reason I felt more comfortable coming here for my birth control needs and testing then my primary care giver. I guess I like that it's their main focus and I'm able to get in and out. I've been able to try different forms of bc.. eventually I stuck with an iud that I had for 5 years & loved. Now I'm bc free but I still go in for testing. the staff has been friendly, especially the last lvn or rn I had, she was amazing! I wish I knew her name.. she made me feel extremely comfortable. Don't even waste your time coming to this pph. I had an appointment at 10:30 am I showed up and they had my appointment but didn't have me on the schedule? Not sure what that even means. By 11:30am I told the receptionist I would be outside because I was feeling very nauseous. I went back in at 11:40 after getting sick in the parking lot and asked how much longer and they ensured me they would get me in and done before 12. I was there to just take a pregnancy test. They said they would call me when they were ready for me to go back and its now 12:30 and I've yet to receive a call. Save your time and go somewhere they will actually care about you. read more

I have been receiving care at this office since moving to the area a few years ago. I feel so cared for and safe with the staff and providers here. Sure, sometimes there's a wait as there is in any office, but I know it's because these folks are serving so many people and take their time with each patient to assure comfort and information. I'm just so grateful to have access to their services and to have a chance to meet the wonderful people working hard to keep those services available. I absolutely trust these providers and staff not only for their expertise, but I trust that I can come to them for my needs and not be riddled with suspicion or frustrations that some other medical experiences have left me with.
