Appointments with her were short and sweet, which meshed really well with me as I can be somewhat of an over-thinker if I'm given anything but a short and simple answer to my questions. I had one appointment with Dr. Murphy toward the end of my pregnancy, so that I could meet him in case he was the on-call doctor during my delivery (which he ended up being). My little one didn't want to cooperate, and after hours of pushing, Dr. Murphy suggested a vacuum-assisted delivery to avoid c-section. I had heard horror stories and felt uneasy at the idea, until hearing his experience and success with said delivery method. My not-so-little baby was delivered safely in just a matter of seconds after the vacuum came into play. Dr. Murphy checked up on us the next day, which was very nice! My 2-week postpartum appointment was with him as well, while my 6-week postpartum appointment was with Dr. LeGrand, which was nice so I could say goodbye and thank her for all she had done leading up to meeting my baby. As other reviews mention, yes, it can be quite difficult to get a response to a voicemail, so I found it best to just keep calling until I was able to reach somebody. But all in all, I would definitely choose this clinic again, if not for the fact that I no longer live in Oregon!

I do want to give two shout outs for Dr. Megan Smith and Nurse Lauren. I fully believe that Nurse Lauren saved my baby's life by sending me to the birthing center when my NST was coming out weird, and Dr. Smith had me prepped for a c section within an hour. They cared for me during both of my pregnancies and I didn't have any problems, it was fine care - not great but I never left there crying. Today I did. The steady decrease in quality of care from when I was pregnant to postpartum to perimenopausal was shocking. They failed to diagnose me with PPD after my first child was born. They did diagnose me with it and prescribed meds after my second child was born. My routine exams after pregnancy were fine until I turned 40. Then all of a sudden I want to talk about HRT and perimenopause because it's excrutiating to deal with and the first NP said I just needed to deal with my symptoms. Basically "suck it up". I asked for another provider who after some convincing, agreed to give me HRT. She was very rude and cold to me. The second time I saw her she literally barely looked at me, never smiled, gave me one word answers and seemed so disinterested. I asked her if there were any foods or exercises I could do to help alleviate my symptoms and she straight up said "No," I called and complained about her, receptionist was just as rude. Then finally I got a third NP she was the worst of them all. Barely greeted me, stone cold face and demeaner, one word answers and dirty looks!! IS THIS THE TWILIGHT ZONE?!!! I'm still a human being who deserves care even though I'm not making babies anymore. What ever happened to compassion and care? The disinterest all of these healthcare "professionals" show is quite alarming. I could and do get more helpful information from Google and Midi Health. He is my prescriber as I am a breast cancer survivor and have secondary conditions related to that. Lucky to be alive, trying to live my best life. That said, my doc went on vacation and without any warning, and upon refilling a particularly expensive medication that was not hastily prescribed, a substitute physician has denied it. My doc won't be back for a month. He's from Bend, young, very smart and has a family. My family and I have been very happy with his care. So disappointed to see High Lakes put a person whose in charge who would flat out deny a needful, long time medication. Btw NOT an opiate. My gastroenterologist who originally prescribed this medication has also left his practice and is set to join St Charles ... later in August. My referral was given a month ago, to smooth this transition because my stomach doc is the best in Bend. SCMC receptionist tried to find it, but said they are BURIED w a huge backlog of patients. Former and new patients. Not surprised, as he is an expert and he actually cares whether a patient can leave home w a condition like mine. So grateful he is staying in town. There seems to be an exodus of docs leaving the area. This is not continuity of care. It shouldn't take a behavioral health appointment to get my medicine or try and understand this idiocy.

Then they tell me that next visit they will need a new urine sample when I come to fill my prescription, I did, got my prescription, but they called me the next day saying that they "dumped it by accident so I need to come back in and do another one" so I waited until the next time I needed a prescription. And they said to come back here and write your initials on the cup and do what you need to do and I will get you the prescription. I get done they say to wait in the person does what they need to do, only to be told that they cannot give me the fucking prescription because Dr. Thibert is not in the fucking office and they found discrepancies, well I don't do any drugs I don't drink alcohol, so now I have to call back to Still the worse place ever, I wish I could go lower than one star. Dr. Thibert needs to be fired immediately. No longer can he be allowed to mess up. He wrote me two prescriptions one of which I refilled. I go into refill again a month later. He wrote it for November 15th so now I'm stuck while the pharmacy gets it squared away with him and the office. Dr. Thibert is like one of those characters on Family Guy, or the Simpsons, knows his stuff, but poor at executing it.
