Very easy to get appointment , and I had a good care of my health they didn't ask for a penny or donation and wherever I needed or requested they put attention and call me back .During my appointments I was call almost right away I even wait 15 minutes . It was a scary appointment that they handled w grace and calmness. I got exactly what I needed and I am just thankful. THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE. I had an appt at 1:15 and it was 2pm and still didn't get called. they said the provider was running a bit late even though when arrived it was literally empty. very unprofessional, they get upset when people arrive late but yet when THEYRE late it's acceptable? this is terrible service and maybe they should figure it out their timing. it's so inconvenient especially when you make an appointment at a said time. and it takes them hours. 0 out of 10 stars. fuck this place. read more

I had an appointment today at 1:30. I arrived at 1:25 and waited inside for a few minutes before being checked in, after being checked in I was instructed to have a seat. After 30 minutes of waiting I asked the woman at the desk if she had an estimated amount of time before I'd be seen and she said she would go check, when she came back she said "no more then 5 minutes". At the 5 minute mark another woman called me back and directed me to a room saying we were still waiting but she would ask me the check in questions. After about 2 minutes the questions were over and the woman left, this was at 2:03pm. I sat and waited in the new room alone for an additional 35 minutes or so without anyone coming in to update me on time frame before deciding to leave at 2:40pm, an hour and ten minutes after my appointment time. I had only asked how long it would be until I was seen and instead of receiving an answer I was tucked away with no updates for 35 minutes(time stamps from frustrated texts I was sending to my friend). Super disappointing. The lack of communication was deeply frustrating. I did not expect to be seen sooner then they were ready to see me but would have appreciated being told an actual time frame rather then being left alone in a random room for over 35 minutes when all I had asked for was an update on how much longer it would be. I just don't see the point in misleading me on how long it would be. I had made an appointment and didn't expect the wait to be over an hour which I would have understood more if I were a walk in. I never write yelp review but this was such a frustrating experience. I've been to this same establishment 2 times prior with no issue and all the staff has been lovely but todays interaction left me questioning if I would even like to make the update appointment I originally said I would. read more

if I could give this place a negative rating I would. had an appointment for 1:45. 2:45 I still haven't been seen and I'm trying to get a renewal of birth control. take my BP say it's too high make me do a pee test take my BP again make me wait for the dr. 30 mins later she shows up. manually takes my BP still a little high. gives my my pill options. then comes back and tells me they're all out of birth control. First time going to Planned parenthood, I was a walk in At 6 in the evening, they did all appropriate protocol for covid which was appreciated. The medical assistant Carolena was professional, and very sweet. The visit with the nurse practitioner went just as well, was diagnosed quickly, and was relieved it was nothing serious. Seaside office has been a bit busy electronically converting records in their office, for this reason I was asked to visit Watsonville. I made an appointment a week before showing up but they couldn't find me on the books when I arrived. They were still very accommodating and after some time they were able to see me. I normally have a really nice welcoming and the staff are really friendly but today I did a walk in for my depo shot and the MA assisting me was really unprofessional and also made some pretty insensitive comments. 1) he rejected my request for a pregnancy test because apparently according to him I don't need one unless I'm consistently throwing up or feel something growing inside me wtf!!!! (I've never had an issue getting a pregnancy test before). 2) during my visit he was about to give me my shot and made a comment saying the world would be a less scarier place if people kept their legs closed. Well as someone who was there for my birth control that definitely caught me off guard and made me uncomfortable as I felt like I was being judged. Comments like this should not be said out loud they are insensitive especially to hear them coming out of a MAN's mouth. Also you CAN'T reject someone's request for a pregnancy test it is not up to YOU, PP is there to support clients. read more

Came in for a second round of treatment (1st treatment done at a different location) and they don't offer one treatment specifically for the virus, so basically they say "we can't help you, your just going to have to let it go away on it's own" like wtf how is this a planned parent hood which is suppose to help and be able to treat std's and virus's/bacteria. I do not recommend this location. I had an appointment to remove my implant and switch to the pills. The wait was over an hour. The staff and nurses were very friendly and welcoming, but the doctor who treated me was rude, messy, and unprofessional. It all happened so fast I did not catch her name. I felt very rushed and she left me with lots of unanswered questions. I have been to the Salinas and Gilroy location and I've never experienced a bad service until now at this location. read more

The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgable. Jessica was very helpful and helped me chose the best b/c for me. When it came to getting it i could say i was just as impressed. When I walked in to get a standard prescription for birth control, I was told that there was a problem with my mediCAL insurance and that they would not be able to see me. The issue was that another insurance had said that I was enrolled with them, when in fact I was not covered by them at all. Instead of turning me away and having it fall on me to find another avenue for birth control, one of the employees (LeeAnn?) took time out of her morning to call mediCAL and get it worked out so PP could see me. Without her help, I don't know that I would have been able to get someone to look at my situation to help me figure it out -- I had already tried several times by myself. She was so patient and kind and the whole experience was a blessing. In addition, I was still able to get an appointment that same day and walked out with my BC. The doctor also was very amenable and got me what I needed quickly and made sure that I would be good for the whole year. read more

Had an unfortunate experience where I waited and waited and waited and waited over 90 minutes past my appointment time until being brought into an exam room where I sat another 20 mins waiting. Finally while sitting naked in a ripping paper gown the medical assistant popped her head in to tell me it was still going to be a little longer wait. That felt like a ridiculous request and i had to be somewhere else. So I told them I had to leave and I left. I was shocked that no one apologized or contacted me afterwards for wasting my time. Yes, the people were nice, but if they cannot help patients who need help in a timely manner, then I'm going somewhere else. read more

Very awesome staff! I went in for a pregnancy test and they made me feel very comfortable. My medical assistant, Marlen was very helpful and reassuring. She answered all my questions and was friendly which can be rare sometimes. I have been to other locations before and always had a bad experience so I was nervous going in. I drove 12 miles to make it here for an appointment at noon. As I sit here in the lobby going on 1 o'clock with a screaming toddler running around me in circles for the past hour straight, I don't even receive updates from the army of nurse practitioners in the office, nor any attempts to quiet the screaming unattended children who are clearly adding more agree to the entire endeavor of getting a routine check-up. Please consider driving the extra 20 miles to any other Planned Parenthood, any other besides the one in Watsonville. read more

Had the worst Dr. visit ever in my life. Not only did the nurse show no interest in helping but more or less as hurry up and go. Went in for a few things and not one of my concerns got checked. All she said was if its still there come back. I was like really?... And the worst was being able to hear them talk about my health issues to each other while I waited for the nurse to come in. I had an excellent experience at Watsonville Planned Parenthood. I was trying to get an IUD at several OB GYN offices recently, but hit many obstacles such as the office not carrying them, the doctor only inserting certain brands, waiting weeks for an appt, etc. At Planned Parenthood, I got an appt quickly, they checked with my insurance before my appt so they knew it was covered, and my wait time was about 5 minutes in the very clean and professional waiting room. The medical assistant was polite and respectful, and the provider took good care of me. I miss the girl who had blondish hair and dimples...She was always super nice and always helpful to me and my friends. She always gave such awesome customer service and ive noticed since shes been gone.. that left with her... Oh and that other girl LeeAnn she was super nice too! Planned Parenthood really needs to be better on who they let go and who they hire. The girls that are there now are rude and very chatty and not very professional or attentive to us the patients. There was a girl I always see in that office with long black hair and glasses I believe they called her Maria or Master P... She is really mean to one of the girls at the front window. I'm still in high school and I don't even talk to or about people like the way she does. I feel bad for that girl. I really hope someone from management actually reads these reviews and does something to change all the negativity that is going on in that clinic.
