After using other online sites to try and meet people, I just wasn't getting the results I was looking for. Joining E&A has been really great at providing me the opportunities to meet such a variety of people, and I have no regrets joining! It is on the pricier side, but they have such a wide range of available activities every single day of the month, that I really believe it's worth the money for the most part. There's really something for everyone. I've participated in a board games night, a day at one of the other members' farm (where we got to help with the animals and chores as well as play with them, followed by an awesome campfire!), bowling, etc. Not only is E&A great for making new friendships, but it's also great for just making connections in general! You never know when you may need a service that one of these people can provide, with the wide range of careers people are in.

There's at least one activity every day. The quality of my life has improved so much that I'm seriously considering a lifetime membership. Everyone commented on how Heritage Ranch is so beautiful and inviting, from the moment you arrive at the entrance, to the drive to the clubhouse. And the staff! Just outstanding. The appetizers (fruit and veggies) and lunch burger bar were made to perfection. Open bar was an added delight, but even those who sipped on lemonade or tea were impressed. From the initial meeting with Patty, to the two gentlemen on the day of party (Octavio and Mitchell?), everything was perfect. They were such a great help and our friends mentioned how nice everyone was even walking through the halls. You can't go wrong with booking a party here at Heritage Ranch.

Unfortunately, our experience was made even more memorable by the course marshal, Dan, who passionately reminded us (multiple times) that joy and relaxation are not permitted here. He found it appropriate to yell in my 25 yo daughter's face, "everyone else here is trying to enjoy their day too!!!!" He's an older gentleman, and based on his behavior, we're genuinely concerned for his mental health and well-being. We're considering starting a GoFundMe for his much needed therapy sessions and organizing a weekly prayer circle to manifest some inner peace for him in 2026. In the meantime, if you're visiting, just know you may be treated like you're in military basic training, but hey, at least your short game will be tight under pressure. :) #scrooge (If I get enough reactions to this review, I'll post the audio /video of him yelling!)

We had a great time, felt confident in what we learned, and certainly will go back soon for more lessons and events. We both wanted to take country dance classes but didn't like that our only option was a bar. When we tripped across Studio 22, this is exactly what we'd hoped for. This event was organized and well planned with professional instructors who were patient and kind. Studio 22 made it fun, not intimidating. The ratio of guests balanced itself out. They encourage frequent rotation of partners (if you go as a couple, that's okay too), no one person was without a partner for too long. There was a wide range of dance lessons, not just country. The studio itself was very spacious, large enough to hold 50 - 80 people comfortably. There are dozens of four top tables along the wall, no reservations, you have to grab one asap. You are allowed to bring your own water bottles (BYOB). They kept the temperature very comfortable, impressive! Dress code is casual attire, something easy to move in, and shoes you can easily shuffle in. There is a fantastic YELP coupon when you check in: 1 Free Group Lesson. I plan to redeem it and will write another review about it.

Teachers are welcoming and patient in group lessons. The community here is also very nice. Parking is super easy-- there's a huge lot with tons of parking spaces. Pricing is so low you'll want to give extra cash to the donation jar at checkout. This shop gives aid to veterans. I've heard the manager offering help to veterans, verifying honorable discharge and defining assistance the veteran is or has received from other agencies. The shop also has a truck to pick up donated items as well as allowing volunteers to lend a hand in keeping the store well stocked. So, whether you give or take, this place has you covered.

My point of contact was Patrick Sowers. One of the biggest red flags was being asked to send copies of my DD-214 containing sensitive personal identifiable information directly to a phone number. At no point was it clarified whether this was a secure work device or a personal cellphone. I was never offered a professional email address or secure document portal, which I found highly questionable given the nature of the documents involved. While I complied in an effort to move the process along, I was not comfortable doing so. In my experience, reputable organizations handling veterans' records typically have clear procedures and safeguards in place for transmitting sensitive information. Beyond the privacy concerns, the conversation itself was frustrating and unprofessional. Instead of feeling heard, I felt repeatedly invalidated, challenged, and put on the defensive regarding my own experiences and concerns. The interaction came across as passive-aggressive and unnecessarily contrarian. I also found it inappropriate that examples of other veterans' personal struggles were repeatedly brought into the conversation as comparisons. I contacted the organization for assistance with my own situation, not to hear about or be compared against the hardships of others. It felt dismissive and unprofessional. What should have been a supportive interaction instead felt judgmental and disrespectful. Trust and professionalism are critical when working with vulnerable veterans, and unfortunately I did not experience either here. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage others to exercise caution when sharing sensitive personal information and to ask questions about how documents are being stored and protected before sending anything. Patrick Sowers is a fucking moron.
