Adult oriented review.... Having been an open and active swinger every minute of my adult life, I check out as many swingers "lifestyle" clubs as I possibly can. I love seeing how different clubs in different cities set themselves up. Plus, any excuse to meet new people and play with them is a good reason. My wife had some business things to handle via zoom in the hotel room so I went over to this club myself. I had just visited the one in New Orleans a few days earlier and was excited to check this one out. Of course, there is always the waivers, fees and check in stuff when new at any club. As a single female for the night, they definitely streamlined the process. Single, attractive women that swing are treated like royalty at swing clubs. This club was no different. Once was inside, having forgotten to bring anything to drink, as this club was byob, I found myself alcohol deficient. I had to barter for drinks and had fun making trades. If you get my meaning. I found this club fun, clean and had plenty of attractive, fun and play minded men and women. The staff were all pleasant and I saw nobody pushing nor violating the rules. There was a good mix of ages from mid twenties to people in their sixties. Nobody pressured me nor made me feel uncomfortable in any way. I found four like minded women and really enjoyed their company. I only stayed for about three hours but I really enjoyed it. If I lived in the Dallas area, I'd certainly be a member and spend my Saturday nights there. If swinging is your thing or you just like to watch and enjoy the vibe, this club is for you. read more

We are new to this area, my husband and I went there first time last night. We been to different clubs in different states so we had seem better and worse places. We like this place for its a spacious, large dance floor, lots of rooms and sittings area for people to hang out and play. Lots of activities, love the open two stories layout and when people dance, both people upstairs and down stairs interact with each other seems really fun. Staff are very friendly. We really love the movie theater. Couple of things to improve. 1, The floors needs some update/ maintenance. There is duck tape secure some type of wire near the dance floor, my shoes got sticky and almost lost balance when I got up and walk. Some area of the floor has stain/paint doesn't seem part of the decoration. Some area floor are uneven and make it hard for ladies wearing high heels. Even out the floor and fresh coat of nonslick paint will make this place so much nicer. 2. Play area don't have enough clean towels for people to use. 3. Bathroom stalls are very limited at least in the lady's bathroom, and there is no show area to clean up after a whole night of dancing and playing. read more

Our first visit to Colette was two weeks ago on a Friday night and we had a great time as far as the club itself. However, I strongly suggest that you take cash when you pay for your membership. We paid it as a couple and got the $20 discount for panty list Friday at the door therefore we should've paid $88. We paid with a credit card, agreed to the membership, provided our email address, etc. and when we checked our bank account, the following Monday we have been charged for the $88 +2 separate $100 charges. We disputed those charges and even spoke to the manager of the club who asked if we had been drinking and maybe just didn't remember tipping the bartender to separate $100 tips. We did not buy anything at the club. We had our own drinks which were very minimal and we did not tip anyone. We were able to get the funds reversed however Colette then sent them through again again charging our card for the two separate $100 charges that we did not agree to. I strongly strongly suggest that if you do go to this club definitely take cash and do not give them your credit card information. read more

Came here from out of town one night really enjoyed ourselves and thought the staff and company was great! Were told at the door that men's attire was more relaxed with a woman but not for single men. So the next night we decided to stop in and my husband was turned away for a similar outfit that another man was walking out in. First time last night and it was great overall. Busier than I thought for a Friday but thats a good thing IMO. All the staff were friendly. Suggest getting there within the first hour or so of opening if you want good floor seating. Only issue is cost of mixers. The staff are friendly. From the valet to the bartenders. It's a bit dark inside. And I know this is trying for the club feel. My wish is there was a bigger women's bathroom. The 4 times I've been here I've had to wait in line for a bit and then fight for a sink to wash my hands because other ladies are adjusting themselves or putting on makeup etc. it's a small venue. Happy the upstairs is there to have a different space to venture too. The play rooms are small and not recommended on Friday nights due to single men lurking about. There is not a screening process for single men. We were followed and spied upon by a creepy guy. After finishing up playing we stepped out and he was giggling and telling us to we were sexy. We left right then. And will not return on Fridays because of that reason. The music for dance floor is decent but unfortunately way too loud for the low ceilings and small space. There are zero conversations going on that can actually lead anywhere. You are basically smiling and nodding. You can dance and have a good time without the music blasting. Also a good tip for going here is bring a group. This isn't the place to meet new friends, people tend to stick to their groups. It seemed very cliquey, and the only person who spoke to us was the upstairs bartender (who was very sweet thank you girl). The girls greeting us at the door smiled and were kind. Where as when I was entering from the check in counter, a male employee stood directly in my way, and I had to pivot my body to go around him, while he made direct eye contact with me.. Not a very pleasant or comfortable feeling.. it took me a while to shake that off. Nobody wants to drink or take off their clothes somewhere where the employees are anything less than friendly. Especially in such an intimate and vulnerable facility. Atleast, not in my experience. The website says no coolers allowed inside, so we brought a bottle and that was it. Then we saw person after person with small 'coolers'. Like over the shoulder type coolers. Not camping/yeti coolers, but we were still a little frustrated that it was unclear on the info that we read. So hopefully they update that with measurements of the 'allowed' coolers or something. Anyway, the place was pretty nice. Cool vibe. Not enough rooms lol. There were people literally walking around LOOKING for a place to F***. Which was kind of entertaining to watch. The lighting in the viewing rooms suck lol. You can't see anything if they close the little thin black net curtain. Which I get if you're in one of the completely closed private rooms. But some people want to be watched without being in the consent room where others can join, or in the fully enclosed rooms with the solid sheets or doors. I appreciate the variety of rooms they had. But I think there needs to be a room where you can go to watch, and us exhibitionist can be watched. Just a little mood lighting or light strips would go a long way... As I said, we definitely want to give it another go. Hopefully we have better luck next time. =] I think we will try the POP party next. read more

Straight of the bat, trying to get details over the phone for just a tour price/inspection option, unfortunately there is none. It's full on pricing for admission for single men (a hundred bucks). That's quite a tour friendly welcoming to get a feel of an establishment. Lol imaging having to order a full dinner dish just to take a look at a restaurant establishment/patio area for further inquiry. I understand that it's a provocative and private establishment, but if there's not even a fair pricing just for a quick tour look. Literally just for ten minutes, give or take. My girlfriend and I wanted to have a fun night out at Colette. Without warning, my girlfriend was jumped and attacked by multiple male staff members simply because she told one of them not to touch her. They assaulted my girlfriend at the Dallas location on 10/18/2020 at approximately 1:00 AM (Saturday night). They left her with multiple injuries that need surgical correction (including a broken nose and cheekbone). John Melfi, the owner of this establishment , confirmed to me that he has footage of the incident but that he will not release it without a police warrant. We went to Collette's last night (5/25/2024), We drove from Killeen to what we had hoped to be a good night. When We arrived parking was ONLY Vallet at the charge of $20. We went inside to pay for the entry fee. After paying the fee, We had told the front clerk we had not been there before, and if we can get a Tour. She stated they didn't have anyone to do so at the moment. After we found the locker room area on our own, got in the appropriate clothing we thought...Turned around to a tour happening by the front desk clerk who just stated they didn't have anyone to do so. We went into the play room area, where people were waiting for the staff, who was chatting themselves up in the hallway to replace the sheets. The people who had to go find the staff members lost their bed due to no one changing them after the fact. When staff members finally decided to finish their conversation, to change the sheets the people who were waiting for the bed ended up losing it because they had to go find them to do their job. When my wife went into the bathroom, it was a mess. She had to clean the seat before she could use it, so apparently no staff members were doing their job that night unless their job was to stand around talking to each other instead and socialize with the "Regulars". When we went to get a drink from the Bar, I took off my shirt. Immediately, a staff member came over to tell me to put my shirt back on or take my pants off to my underwear. While she was standing there explaining this to me, one of their "Regulars" walked by her without a shirt and not one word was spoken to him only to myself. My wife was wearing A bra, underwear and a robe which was the theme. When We went to go out to the smoking area, She was told to close up her robe because we couldn't be outside showing our underwear due to the hotel next door. And, Yet again 2 other women were outside wearing a bra and Thong...She had to walk past them to get to my wife to tell her to cover up but nothing was said to the "Regulars". She also expressed to me that I had to put my pants on over my boxer shorts due to the same effect....but yet again another "Regular" was told nothing. At 3:15am, We were in the theater room, the staff came in and yelled "5 more minutes till we close", and yet they posted they closed at 4am. Some of the staff members were YELLING! not speaking at guest to leave the curtains alone that who was ever using the bed was in control of them. They yelled so loud about them, we heard them over the music in the next room. Also, the building was nearly full of people. It was hard to walk in the halls, play rooms and theater. When people would stand in the door way to let others past due to no walking space they were YELLED at to keep walking and to stop hovering in the door ways. We have been to Collette's in Austin, Tx several times and this place needs to take a page from their book. It is completely night and day between the two. Even guest outside in the smoking area, we're starting the same fact. It was a disappointing night and I can't believe it cost us $120 total for that horrible experience. And not one staff member had a professional mannerism, each one had some form of attitude. Even when they were asked to do their job by a paid patron. If we could have given 0 stars, we would have. I would be ashamed if I was the Manager/owner, and if the manager was there that night, they failed to do their job to get their staff working correctly and to give a positive experience. read more

I am actually quite sad to leave this review but feel John and Jackie should know how their Dallas location has really gone downhill. We absolutely loved this club two years ago. It was classy, sexy, and the vibe was incredible. Now, it seems as though much of the clientele and the workers are a wee bit "tired" for lack of a better word. First - cell phones everywhere. Privacy should be the first priority at this club yet visibly at any moment last night, I could see minimum 5 phones. I never heard or saw anyone being asked to put their phone away. Second - the workers have changed tremendously in the last two years. In the past, one would almost feel like royalty. Arriving to smiles, compliments, a genuine welcome. From the valet, the girls at check in, and the security guards, they seem to just be indifferent at this stage. No welcoming smiles, lots of inner conversations, seldom even making eye contact with you. The security guards have gone from handsome and attentive gentlemen, to indifferent bystanders discussing football and weekend plans while strangers have sex nearby. The music - ok this has always been an issue for Us/us at this location. The DJ must change but the music is always bland, old "white people" music. (Btw I am an old-ish white person but don't want to hear 80s classics at any club). Play music that people can dance to, get them off the white leather sofas and actually enjoying the dance floor. The nitty gritty here - the clientele. I will say that I am not judgemental of age or weight when it comes to those having a good time. However, cleanliness and overall sex appeal are key. I don't want to feel as though I've busted down the old age trailer park when attending a club. The vibe can just be downright gross. In short, I have an amazing respect for the owners but maybe they have lost sight of the original vibe here. It's no longer the red carpet treatment and thus is drawing in a different crowd with a completely different vibe. I will return in a few months in hopes that things turn around again. read more

If you are young and have the money for a yearly membership, then I hear you will get approved basically overnight. Wife and I (46/39) were looking to enter the lifestyle, did a lot of research and thought this was the safest, most reputable place to start. After almost 8 months, we finally got our rejection letter. No explanation, which was okay I suppose, since by that point we had found closer (and much cheaper) alternatives. Over time, we've heard lots of complaints from the people we have met in the lifestyle about Colette Dallas, especially in recent years. Do yourself a favor, especially if you are over 30 and you don't live in Midlothian, and find an underground establishment. read more

NOTE: We went on a very busy "holiday event" and our review, and especially our concerns, may not be similar to what a regular Saturday night may include. On our night though, we felt the place was very clean, with a bit of an upscale vibe to it. The average age in the place was probably about 30, and a very attractive group - but without any judgement or attitude towards older folks. It may have had some clickyness to it, but There was a great "everyone gets along" vibe in the club and was a ton of fun! The music matched the younger crowd, but the dance floor was amazing, inclusive and busy. Generally - the "club" was as good as we've been to in a swing club ... lots of fun. Our problem was in the play area. It was couples only but clearly had single dudes hanging out in the theatre room, perched like super creepy vultures. We enjoy group rooms a lot, but the only large play room (with the circle bed) had windows for people in the hall to watch. This may have been a fun option, but there were so many people, it just felt super distracting as nobody was really creating a sexy vibe as they walked by and or stood watching. We ended up in one of the semi private rooms, and pulled the curtain of one of the big beds. It was crazy how disrespectful so many people were as they walked by - pulling the curtain open, making comments about why people would close curtains, and talking LOUDLY about what to have for dinner .... while they were just on the other side of the curtain. It was very difficult to keep the sexy flow with such a distracting atmosphere around. The staff tried - no hate to them - but we can't give it any more than 3 stars because it's a sex club, and we had to work WAY to hard to enjoy the sex part. I first gave this place one star because I went on a Friday night when single males were allowed. So I went on a Saturday night where only couples were allowed and I still give it one star and here's why. Guys in polos that work there swarmed the place, it felt like they were breathing down your neck, and they were barking at people like dogs all night screaming down the halls. They would yell "keep it moving keep it moving" when people would be in a room. One guy came up to me at 2 o'clock in the morning when most people were pretty stripped down, and said put your shirt on man. You can't walk around back here with your shirt off. Are you kidding me I said? There's naked people all around me! Then they kept yelling every time the room was about to close every 10 minutes with how many minutes you had left as a warning. 30 minutes people they would yell, 20 minutes people. It was this never ending countdown. In Fort Lauderdale for example, the club there, if you go into the play area you have to take your clothes off and walk around in towels. People at this club all around me are stripped down to nothing but I get yelled at because I'm walking around with my shirt off? I will never go back to this place again. It was like a small army of workers back there, and then having them breath down your neck, having them yell at you for having your shirt off, and constantly barking at everyone like dogs herding us like we are cattle, ruined the entire night. I will never go back to this place. What should have been a relaxing luxurious sensual experience, made it feel like a circus or freak show that they had to monitor. Very classless. Workers should be on a hand if you need them but not present like an army yelling at everyone, and especially not yelling at people who take a shirt off in a play area! My fiancee and I have been talking about this place for months and we finally went. I recommend utilizing valet ($20) b/c they were on point from start to finish! The front desk was very receptive. Once we paid our entrance fee of $80 (couples night) we was given a tour of the facility. The young lady gave us a 5 min tour and answered our questions. There's a mixed crowd. I'm 37 and she's 33 years old. At one point I was talking to a married couple of 30 years. Colette is BYOB. Do yourself a favor and bring a small lunch cooler to keep your beverages in. Fellas....there's a dress code! If you think your outfit might be questionable, bring a whole different outfit and keep it in the car. Ladies basically wore whatever they wanted. I felt very safe inside Colette. There's plenty of security guards and they had no problem giving guidance where it's needed. I'm big on restrooms and their restrooms was very clean. Even had a bottle of Listerine if you needed some. Overall the establishment was pretty clean. There's multiple rooms in Colette. Once I seen how other couples were getting down, it was time for my fiancee and I to open up. If you're afraid of people watching you while being intimate with your partner, you might want to hang out in the common areas. There's plenty of common areas where you can hold a conversation, enjoy the DJ, and sip on your drink. We ended up in the "blue room" where you can be 100% intimate with your partner. If you elect to keep the curtains open, people can watch EVERYTHING you're doing and they're within 2-3 feet from you. If your curtain is closed, that indicates you want privacy. Security was big on informing spectators to not peek while the curtain was closed. My fiancee and I kept the curtain open. We had a few people complement us after. We definitely enjoyed watching others as they didn't care what was going on. We ended our night in this one room where people was just chillin/being intimate. We felt even more comfortable, in that room, and put on a show for about 30 mins. I'm not gonna lie...we was a little nervous with how our night was going to turn out. We ended up having a great time and recaped our experience the whole drive home. My husband and I filled out an application and when no one responded initially i emailed them again and they said not to worry and to just come in. We ended up bringing more people with us because she said " not to worry " and they denied our friends because they didn't have an application in. We visited from the LA club scene. The biggest turn off w this club that will most likely keep us from going back is how much they drain every penny from members. We paid $80 - they have the nerve to charge for ICE & all mixers. Really? Really? The ice? Tacky! To make matters worse, they have a bar area and won't even allow u to check your bottle. It is a very clean and visually nice club. The crowd is better looking and more sophisticated than average. The staff is fine. Prices are a little higher, as they charge for setups, ice... every little thing.. But the lower stars is basically not on the club, but it's patrons... Most are pretty stuck up and clicky... many without any clear reason to be so. And there was almost nothing going on in the play rooms at any time during the night... When we like to be around sexually charged people, we like to do it out of town and at Club Collette, either NOLA or Big D. This place is probably our favorite because they will lower the AC to cool the place. If you do not like rap or black culture, do not go on Thursday. Friday's offers single men and you need to fight them off from your lady but the single men are restricted from couple-only areas. so a tease can lead to something less adventuresome but as gratifying if you catch my drift. My wife and I have been to Colettes many times. Even when it had a different name. We have ALWAYS enjoyed ourselves in the room with the couches that overlook the round bed room. We can be as playful as we fill and people walking through the room enjoy watching us. We prefer Friday night mainly because they allow single men into the club. On occasion we enjoy the company of an extra male for my wife. We also like the movie room which can get the excitement to another level. Then we usually to to the room that has beds with curtains. We enjoy leaving the curtains open so anyone can enjoy our playtime. We also enjoy watching others play together. Most Fridays they give a discount if you can prove your wife has no panties on. My wife enjoys pulling up her dress to expose nothing but skin. You should try this club out if you are interested in the LIFESTYLE. read more

Tonight was our first night attending and I was very impressed. The hostess was super sweet and gave us a tour and a promotion for $30 off our next two visits. My only reals complaint were the sheets were used by several different couples for different sexual groups several times and not changed every session as we were told they would be in the first room with sheer curtains around the room and several people had their phones out despite the waiver they have you sign stating otherwise. The second room was definitely a bit more intimate where you and your partner could discreetly engage in sexual activity :-). The third room off that room has a large circular bed in the middle that everyone pretty much shares. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and will be returning. read more
