I like the outcome of the quality as I did regular full set acrylics. However, the steps they took for it seemed odd and interesting. No complains tho. The only complain is that the service given to me seemed a bit rude. I was not offered a beverage of choice while other customers around me were. Honestly will not be coming back here ever again. Last time I went, which was a few weeks ago, the lady was super rude. Never offered me anything to drink until I was about to pay and leave. She was filing the sides of my nails so hard that the skin starting bleeding and didn't even apologize until as I was paying bc I assume she wanted a tip. Now two weeks later my nails are infected and hurt so bad that I just want them taken off and never done again bc this pain is excruciating. read more

I loveeeee Plano Nail Bar! I always feel very relaxed, and comfortable at this nail salon. They offer a good amount of alcoholic beverages for free during your service. The owner (Steve, I think?) is hilarious, always chatting, greeting, and making sure everyone is good. This salon also has a great variety of nail colors, along with NexGen powders. I will say their customer service goes above and beyond. I once broke my nail after moving some furniture, and they fixed it for free; while other salons have charged $5-$7 to fix a nail! So this is the nail bar I always go to but I always have a different person do my nails. But yesterday when I went in with a picture of what I wanted, I couldn't have been more disappointed. She did my nails really bad, so unprofessionally. I had extra product all over my finger I had to go home and wash it with hot water to get it off, the shape was supposed to be coffin but was so uneven and every nail was a different length. I told her to redo my finger, she caught an attitude telling me that they looked fine. Then she finally redid that finger, and it still looked awful, super tilted to one side. They were closing soon so I had no choice but to leave. I was very disappointed with the service, I was still charged $45 for nails that looked really bad. Won't be going back again. read more

This place treats customers disrespectfully. When I walked in the only man in the shop today looked at me with disgust and said what do you want? I gave him another chance as I began picking out a color then he said go sit over there. I sat down. Then another lady came and sat down next to me. She received service right away. I tried this place for the 1st time a, few days ago. My manicure was really good. The massage was perfect. My pedicure i have mixed feelings about. The paint job was awesome but she really didn't scrub my feet. I paid and additional $10 for a longer massage and it was terrible. I could tell she was disappointed when i asked for additional massage time. First time experience was not bad. The salon on a Saturday afternoon was packed, but I only waited less than 10 minutes to get a pedi chair. The salon has an open bar and frequent patrons heads there to get a drink as soon as they arrive. Since the salon was so crowded, I did feel my pedi was a little rushed and not slow and relaxing. Nick was also very gentle while working with my hands. This was a large plus for someone who suffers from nerve sensitivities. I would highly recommend Nick as your technician of choice. This place is legit. I have been to hundreds of nail salons over the years. Some I have been loyal to for 10+ years. The service and quality are above and beyond. The nail tech, gwennie(?) was through on talking to me about what i wanted out of my Nexgen nails, was fast and accurate. Same for the pedicure. They made sure the colors matched and that I always had a full drink (bonus! Full bar!). The owner was walking around making sure everyone was taken care of and had plenty of laughs. The first thing I see when I walk in is the guy at the stand drinking and he seemed drunk. The next problem I have is that the lady that did my pedicure gave me nothing but an attitude and argued with me about the colors I chose for my nails. So I'm conflicted... 3 or 4 stars or somewhere in between. I had a pedicure and a nexgen for the first time ever. Pedicure was nice but I almost kicked my nail tech with my reflexes after she scrubbed my tickle spot on the bottom of my foot. But she was a quick learner and stopped scrubbing there my pedicure lasted perfectly for a month. Nexgen was an experience... the nail tech was lightning fast and I felt like I was a race car at a pit stop and he was the tire-changer. I've been watching too many kid movies. I was no delicate flower in his hands... lots of jerking and voila! Nails done in like 10-15 minutes! They lasted 2 weeks before they started to lift a bit. I managed to go 3 weeks though. If you need nails done fast, it's the place to go. It was poppin with people! Super busy but we got in and out in 30 mins. However, I went to Wylie Nail Bar to get them done again because it's closer for me. The Nail tech there, Henry, spent an hour on my nails (he had to remove the first set of course).
