Owner is very rude and combative. I got a full set and pedicure last week, the pedicure was horrible. I called the next day and complained and was told by Katie she would write my name in a book for a redo. Came this morning and had to keep repeating myself over and over. I mentioned to the owner I came for a redo and had to yet again keep repeating myself about what was wrong and even showed him my feet. He said Katie was not there so I asked could he contact her to verify what I said he first said he would then refused to. I had a manicure and pedicure with French polish. I would not do the manicure again because they did not know how to cut cuticles. They pulled it out, which caused my cuticles to break apart and tear, which is really painful and unhealthy. Next time, I'd just get the polish and skip the manicure altogether. read more

I came in for almond shaped nails about last week. When I came in I was greeted by a woman who told me to choose the color, then i sit down to get my nails done. First of all, the color was wrong, second, there were spots on the nail that werent even filled in, and my nails and fingers were bleeding almost every day. The ladies were nice, but a bit aggressive. After work today, I go in to get them removed, and the lady uses the tool, turns it on, and it goes on my skin. I obviously flinch and I told her about my experience. All she said was a sorry and I paid $45 for the nails and $12 for the removal. Don't recommend this place at all, and I have never written a review. This is my worst nail experience by far, and there is still residue on my nails! Never coming back here again. It's a waste of time and money. I recommend at home salons because they actually care. In the photo I have, it looks fine from above and far, but up close they are all crooked and have spots where there is ZERO color. I don't get manicures often (or ever really) so my review might not mean much. I am trying to grow my nails, and needed help getting them shaped and under control. I just went for a regular manicure, with polish. Regular manicure was over $20 after tip. I know this is what you will seen most places, but in general I just can't justify spending this much for someone to paint my nails, this should be $10 cheaper for regular polish! I wanted my nails rounded, I don't like the square look on me. My technician did a pretty weak job rounding them out, and I had to ask her to correct it before she put the polish on. Then I had to practically force the tip on the guy because they insisted no charge for the repair even though it was totally my fault it broke. They wrapped each of my nails And so I didn't get the burning pain on the dry parts of my hands or leave with white tipped skin and raw hands. I love this place. The lady who did my nails was rough and left multiple cuts on my fingers, and was rushing to get my nails done. I showed her a few pictures of the way i wanted my nails, but she was trying to charge me for something that I don't think needs to be an extra charge I just wanted glitter on one nail on each hand, and was not about to pay 15 dollars extra for two glittery nails. From the start I had glue all over my hands while the tech was applying tip nails. She burned my nail-bed while filing them. Did not get the almond shape right even though she saw what my nails looked like when I came in. I had acrylic piled up all under my tips, and when I asked her to clean it up she didn't! She proceeded with putting a nail polish on, and tried to send me off with a smudging nail had 3 clear coats on top. I told her to fix it.... She did.. or did she? I've visited this place before and the service was great! The lady took her time on my feet and they looked awesome. However, today I went back and was not happy at all with my service. The lady Samantha or Amanda can't remember her name rushed on my toes, felt like she was gonna drop the nail polish she was going so damn fast. She did one coat of clear and moved me over to the man who did my nails. I have At least 4-5 cuts on my fingers from being so rushed. It's been a while since I last got my nails done, but this place was the perfect spot to do them at! The interior design of the shop was really clean and chic. They had large TV screens for entertainment while I was getting pampered. I really liked how this salon specified that they had gel colors that already came with a matching regular polish so I didn't have to go looking for one. Since my gel manicure was a pastel color, I received 3 color coats to make sure it did not look faded; thought that was also another nice touch! read more

Late review. Came in one day because I decided to treat myself to a new set of nails. I came in wanting a simple nude ombré, but was instantly drawn to the pinks. This was my first time here since they just opened a month ago. I took my husband too for my bday pedicure. The place is really well decorated and clean. It's mostly asian employees. They have an October 20% every service special going on right now. They did upsize the original package that I picked, but since it was 20% off, it was pretty much the cost as my package that I chose. They were very meticulous with the foot care and the cuticles. Even my husband was surprised with how much attention they paid to his feet (it's his first time). They offered us beverages. my guy forgot to turn off the water so it kinda overflowed a bit, but good thing it was only my flip flops that got wet. I went for the first time today. My appt was accidentally booked for tomorrow, so the manager, Ellie, did my gel manicure. She was excellent. Attention to detail was on point. She doesn't normally perform services, but I was so glad she did my nails today. This is one of the best gel manicures I've had. I'm sure the other employees are held to equally high standards. I usually like this place. I've been about 10 times. This last visit was rough. The nail tech was so kind but she nicked my ring finger several times, my acrylic is very lumpy, the clear coat dried with bubbles. I also asked for a design that was attempted about 6 times but ultimately did not work out and had to be wiped off. I wouldn't usually complain but I paid $64 for a fI'll. I have been their customer since their opening time. Have had various experiences but decided to come back to one nail tech. I liked her work. However had to admit their overall quality if service deteriorated so bad that I may not going back after the last time she was there. Maybe this is due to management change. However there is no excuse about the way my nail lady behaved last time. To start off she stopped being polite and welcoming. Never asks how I am doing and it I would like a glass of water (they do to the new clients). Sometimes she is in a lot of hurry and pulling my fingers and cutting them accidentally which makes me feel uncomfortable every time. This time she did not care to ask what length I need before cutting in a hury all of my nails way too short . So short that the the nail is not reaching the end of the finger and under nail area is exposed. When I checked in I told her that this no is way too short for me , and she offered add tip to all the nails... Which I did not agree too. She got mad at me and stood up and asked what do you want? I don't understand? At this point I told her I wanted to keep the nails as is and let them grow and will come back when they will grow a little for nexgen. I am not putting powder on the length she created by mistake... She stood up and left her customer of many years without finishing anything and started working on another client. Which I noticed later. They still charged me for the initial servíce of taking off the powder and cutting my nails.. I I literally went to the nail salon with three other my friends they booked us for 11:30 we went there and after a couple of minutes they started doing two of my friends nails and after a good hour they started doing my nails and they kept coming to my station saying give me one minute and then coming back and forth and then my other friend waiting for someone to do her nails and had to wait there for two hours after we got into the salon other people came in and they immediately started taking them instead of doing our nails which was stupid we were so pissed off and waited and they all looked so bad and they were all $70 or more it was a terrible place I've ever been to this salon before I realized that the management and the employees changed because I went last year and it was really good but I regret goin there ever again and I wish I lost the money instead giving my money to them because what we all got was horrible and I don't recommend anyone going to this nail salon is the worst salon I have ever seen in my life read more

I really, really like this place! I went in for a complimentary pedicure as part of their grand opening and was literally treated like royalty (who doesn't like that!). The manager is extremely focused on excellence in customer service and requests that her staff does not pressure customers with upselling as some other local nail salons do. They are very clean (the use plastic liners in the water basins) and the massage chairs are state of the art (there's actually a tray for your smart phone, and the remote is a stand up tablet which makes it easy to customize your massage preferences). They provide complimentary soft drinks and adult beverages (score!) and the interior decor is very clean and modern. Some things I hope they do in the near future: 1. Add more colors to their selection 2. Offer mani-pedi combo specials 3. Initiate a rewards program for return customers But either way, I'll be sure to return since service and cleanliness are my top priorities when choosing a nail salon. read more

I've been here twice and each time my manicure lasted longer than any other I've had in DFW to date What I love: Glee is brand new. Everything is in working order and clean! The staff are very friendly. The colors offered are extensive. You'll find the prices are a few dollars more than the competition but you get what you pay for. I have had both shellac and nexgen manicures here and have yet to have a nail chip after 2-3 weeks. Pro tip: Ask for Elle. First time to go to Glee and so happy I popped in on a whim. You must see Lynn!!! She is amazing and gives you exactly what you want. I went in today just for a pedicure. I needed gel taken off my toes and reapplied.
