Stopped in to work remotely for a couple hours over lunch. The shop is super cute and cozy with a good amount of outlets around for remote workers and a variety of seating. The staff were very friendly and the service was quick. I started with the strawberry matcha when I first arrived. The matcha didn't seem of the highest quality - the color wasn't very vibrant and tasted ok but I appreciated the strawberry puree. Would not get again, especially for $10. For lunch I enjoyed the peach tostada. It was delightful. The fruit was yummy and paired well with the cheese and the kettle chips were good. A great light summer lunch. Would return. read more

I had been here before and really enjoyed the food. On my first visit I ordered a smoothie and a peanut butter & jelly sandwich, and everything was fresh and delicious. I came back because of that positive experience. Unfortunately, my second visit completely changed my opinion. While eating my salad, I noticed several pieces of shredded cheese that had a grayish blue discoloration that looked like mold. I immediately stopped eating and lost my appetite. I wasn't looking for a refund or free food, I just wanted to let the staff know in case there was an issue with the ingredients. What disappointed me the most was how the situation was handled. Instead of taking my concern seriously, they insisted the discoloration was "smoothie powder" and showed us a bright electric blue powder they use. The color on the cheese looked nothing like that, it was a dull grayish-blue, which is why I was concerned in the first place. Rather than acknowledging my concern or checking the ingredient, I felt like my experience was dismissed. Food safety concerns happen, and mistakes can occur at any restaurant. What matters is how they're handled. I left feeling disappointed not because of the salad itself, but because I felt my concern wasn't taken seriously. Really cute coffee house on Main Street I loved the interiors, decide, and theme. Best part is a little nook they have created for little kids-- it's the bare minimum that community spaces should offer to be family friendly. Got iced vanilla bean latte; good latte. Shot pulled perfectly but syrup was lacking. I can tell they are house made and the ratio tasted off. I asked for extra syrup and it made the latte taste sweeter which covered the taste of ratios being off. Got a salmon avocado toast and it's ur classic toast. Parking is difficult, they have 4 spots in total outside the corner as street parking. You'll need to park right by the rose hotel, they have public parking in the back! I came here not long after they opened up last to meet up with a friend for an early breakfast, and I am just getting to reflect on my first impressions. The interior is clean and simple, but I am not sure if I am a fan of the orange appointments. The interior space is deceivingly large. There are some hidden spaces towards the back of the restaurant making it to be a very odd layout. They were well staffed and very attentive. They have a selection of pastries and other basic breakfast items made-to-order. Despite it being a Saturday morning, many of their pastry items were unavailable. That was disappointing. We ended up with a few selections and espresso drinks. Nothing really stood out. The iced oat milk latte gets a solid 4.8 out of 5. Smooth, balanced, and you can taste the richness of the espresso (La Marzocca machine ftw). The hot oat milk latte was a 3.6/5 - I would stick with iced drinks. They also offer foods items like empanadas, croissants, sandwiches, and a few fresh salad options. I really enjoyed the spinach and cheese empanada. It was a 4.3/5. I'm so excited to have another coffee shop in the neighborhood. The space is bright and there are plenty of good study and working spots inside. They're open from 7 to 3, which makes it an easy stop to start the day. Loved my visit to planta! I watched a video on tik tok and when I realized how close it was to work I decided to get up a few mins earlier so I can drop by. The vibes are so cute and feels like you are transported somewhere else. Can definitely do a cute photo op moment with all the orange! The empanadas were a 10/10! My first review for 2026 goes to the Planta Coffee House in downtown Pleasanton. Planta has been open for business for about a month now and I've been itching to stop by sample their coffee. Well, it's New Years Day and pretty much everything downtown is closed except for Planta. What a perfect time to check this place out I told myself. My first impression is the lovely ambiance inside the coffee house. It's bright and clean with wood flooring with ample seating inside. I ordered my go to beverage which is a decaf americano. But wait, there's more! I noticed they had delightful empanadas too! The empanadas are made next door by Brava restaurant. I ordered a spinach empanada and a ham/cheese empanada. Both were delicious! My coffee was excellent as well. Staff was very cordial providing great customer service. There are several coffee shops in downtown Pleasanton. This one has a great vibe and is located on the north end of Main Street. I'll definitely be back again. read more

I had not had a matcha this morning and I'm not ready to go cold turkey. Four stars bc I ordered only one drink and was given the total without being informed the extra fee for sweetener. I asked if it could be sweetened and was shown to a sticker on the glass which labels sweetener choices. This list did not have prices...Would be nice to know so people can decide if it's worth it. Menu said 5.50 was charged 6.90. Plus a tip. $8 for a smallish to medium size tea. The ambiance is nice for a friend meet up if you like the color orange, I do not. Or if you are tired of Starbucks traffic. Theres also sandwiches and food here. The staff could easily upsell. I was not asked if I would "like anything else" I probably would have responded with "what do you recommend ?" When I heard there was a new coffee shop in downtown Pleasanton I knew I had to try, especially when it's only 10-15 mins away from me. I went on a Sunday after church around 11am. It wasn't super busy, but had a good amount of people, about 8-10 ppl. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the bright orange color ... very warm and welcoming. I usually go for coffee but wanted something different so I went for the Tumeric Latte. I like my lattes on the slightly sweet side so I was happy that I asked if it came sweetened or unsweetened. Their Tumeric latte (I believe she said all their lattes) comes unsweetened but you can request for it to be sweetened. I'm happy that she suggested vanilla syrup because it was the perfect amount of sweetness where it didn't over power the Tumeric flavor. I paired my latte with the short rib empanada. The meat was moist, savory, and cheesy, and the outside was soft and slightly crispy. I enjoyed every bite, although it was on the smaller side. I've been here a handful of times in the past few weeks since they've been open. I am pleased to find a new cafe to bunker down and slave over emails on my work laptop. Cheyenne and Tara are the sweet angels who work behind the counter. There's also a gentleman in a sharp suit, but I haven't caught his name yet. The cafe has ample sunlight, it's bright and spacious with many seating areas. There's also a back room if the front gets too loud to concentrate. Their cappuccino is great, my favorite drink to order. Their ham & cheese and short rib empanadas are great bites, too.
