Cute little spot with a cozy vibe--there's both couch seating and table seating inside, perfect whether you're catching up with a friend or just hanging out solo. That first sip of coffee? Instant obsession. I was hooked. The baristas were also super friendly, which made the whole experience even better. They've got a great selection of pastries and breakfast options too. I ordered the breakfast burrito (comes with egg, cheese and your choice of protein, plus a veggie option), and it did not disappoint--super satisfying and flavorful. For my drink, I went with an iced vanilla latte with oat milk... and let me just say, it was chef's kiss. Smooth, perfectly sweet, and so refreshing. Safe to say I've found a new go-to coffee spot. It's hard to.access if not going to the mall but needed, $Bux is long gone, but this is so much better and even though it's a Franchise...it works as basically nothing else w Espresso machine in the Mall. Macy s had a cafe and it is also closed at time of this Writ. One of the unique tastes here, is it's Chai although known for it's many mixed coffee drinks and flavours having ample enough syrups to enjoy whilst shopping the Mall inside. In San Leandro is an older one but have seen these around over the years alike Tully's and/or Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf now left in The City. That major in iced coffee drinks famously. I had a similar experience couple times I went since grand opening last year to, AnaSofia Z.'s I believe it's okay and food odors mix in a higher ceiling and kept even in a 1st floor setting here. By men's macy's doors down towards center court. Kinda pricey for a Breakfast burro but expected for Mall Lease prices increasing due to less vendors currently renting space differences. Traffic is less except on the weekends, they always have enough staff at this location inside but still training and different persons and like the options on the shelf, but don't know how long it's been there, especially loose leaf tea. Cups are unique and tasteful. I will return for the 5th time, next time and will try a different drink. To us the avacado bagel toast and the quesedilla had more value, than burrito pricing as much as the flavors. My accompanier had the Hot Nutty Cow which was unlike other drinks. So kudos DESI for them for that on the nationwide menu. Another good thing is sugar free hot and cold drinks upforth on the menu giving others a chance to enjoy a beverage while others only use a sugar free syrup only change to anything, ALWAYS defaults Vanilla. Seating is usually full, good for them, but we occasionally found out of the door seating chairs to enjoy our food and beverage seated there. Only a 3*5 due to box chai and the tables dirty but I asked someone they came around the corner and cleaned as we appreciated that. Don't have any photos today, but you will see for yourself next time you go to Stoneridge Mall across from Game Stop, that closed and was vacant blank black on our last visit last week. Ume was around the bend but favors bobba tea and their drive thru closed to re-open as Cowboy Coffee this week. read more

BUT it smelled so bad like armpit not sure if the workers need deodorant or they cooked something with onions that made the place smell so bad. I had to eat outside from the smell. Cute place with good service. I wouldn't say it's the best coffee house but it's definitely not the worst. It opens earlier than the mall does so it comes in handy. The service is good, staff is friendly and quick. At this point I've tried a couple of their items: Iced Chai 3/10, it was suuuper strong even with less chai and more milk, I couldn't even drink it. It made my stomach hurt so bad. Iced Caramel Latte 8/10, yummy but I wish it had more of the espresso. Iced white mocha 9/10, very good and not too sweet Coconut crunch blend 10/10, it's like a frappe & had the perfect amount of coconut taste. Cheese Danish 10/10 very good. Chocolate croissant 6/10, nothing special. They also get a plus for their crushed ice :) read more

This new location is super clean, and the menu looks great! I really enjoyed my drink, but the service was super slow. The two young women working spent a lot of time chatting about other customers and co-workers, and moved pretty slowly... There were only about 2 other people in the shop at the time. We'll try again and see if the service becomes more efficient. The drink tasted great, though! read more

Service was very friendly an it is a cute little space to chill. I got a pistachio latte, w/50% of the syrup. So glad I did, it was still a bit too sweet. Food was just mid. I ordered bacon breakfast burrito. Bacon was pale and floppy, rice or potatoes, or whatever that was, was diced like it went through a hash grinder. I literally don't know if it was rice or potato!!! I didn't eat 1/4 of it and tossed it. Waste of $12 Croissant sandwiches weren't much better. I gave 4 stars for ambiance and service. Cute mugs and things for sale. Also, it is a franchise and I'd hoped that meant locally owned, but no, it belongs to relax the back store. read more

I never knew this place existed because of its location at the mall, but I'm glad I saw it! It's a great to see another coffee shop other than Starbucks ( no hate, I love me some Starbucks! ). What can I say, it's coffee in the mall. I had a plain cold brew which was fine, just nothing special. My wife had an iced pistachio latte which was also fine, but my iced pistachio at home has quite a bit more depth than this one. If you need a coffee, go for it. If you are more of a coffee snob, you should pass this and go somewhere down the street when you head back out of the mall. read more

I came in on a Friday during the day as I was in the area. At first I couldn't find it since I didn't realize it was in the mall! But it's a grind took over the old Starbucks location. Honestly an upgrade! I was helped quickly! I asked for a nutty latte and asked how it would be. They said it was really good so I got it! Sure enough, they were correct! I used to go to it's a grind when I lived in SoCal and I loved it! I'm not sure if it's the same company here, but it's just as good! I will totally come back! the environment is a bit loud to do work but I still was able to get some things done while waiting for my drink. Staff checked in after to ask if I liked it and they shared the WiFi with me. Overall, great experience and nice staff! I'll be back and you should give it a try!! read more

It was my first time at this cute coffee shop today called "It's a grind coffee." I loved the atmosphere here when I first entered. There's beautiful artwork and then I later found out that you can purchase them. They also have a wall of wonderful cups for sale. I ordered my first ever beautiful mocha latte. It was a perfect temperature and beautifully executed. I also ordered lots of food for my family. The pizza and quesadilla were delicious and made in house. It's a Grind took the place of Starbucks across from the Apple Store in Stoneridge Mall! So excited to see a small business open in a central location, and there aren't other coffee shops in the mall. I didn't get to try anything yet, but I'm enticed by the food options (hello all day breakfast items) and 24oz as a default size for most drinks :o Holy moly. I'll need to sit down and work here to properly enjoy such a mammoth size lol (and imagine the caffeine!). There were cute mugs and tea that they also sold next to the checkout line. This was my first time here. As I was looking at the menu, the cashier told me, "Everything is good," I just thought okay but taste is personal. I decided to order a bagel with avocado spread and tomatoes. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy it, the bagel wasn't baked properly, and the bread had a raw flour taste as I chewed. I wouldn't order it again, and a bit pricy. On the bright side, the caramel blended coffee was excellent, for a small it was 7 something which I though was pricy. read more

Needed a predinner snack to fuel me up for a long drive home and passed by this coffee shop on the bottom level of the mall, next to Macy's. The inside is spacious, with plenty of seating. This would be a good place to pass some time and get some work done. I didn't try any of the drinks during my last visit but decided to get a quesadilla and add sausage as a protein. The food came out HOT - as in, I still couldn't pick it up with my bare hands 10 minutes later. The food was yummy - a good portion of eggs with melty cheese and savory bits of cut up sausage mixed in. They have a comfortable couch and plenty of table space with electrical plugs for the computer. Services reasonably friendly and fast. Prices are expected. Drinks and pastries tasted good. This place used to be really good for coffee. I have mostly tried their cappuccinos and it used to be strong and robust. Lately, the quality has completely gone down. The coffees seem to have a watered down or too much milk taste for the same cappuccino. I have been disappointed twice and I don't think looking at the other reviews this is a coincidence. If you are charging a premium price, you should provide high-quality coffee commensurate with that price point. read more

The coffee is SO delicious. Most drinks have less sugar than you'd expect from a Starbucks drink, but there's a sugar table in the corner, so they really just let the coffee shine. What a pleasant surprise this place was. Solid and satisfying cup of coffee, endless choice of syrups and flavors. They were really patient to tell me about what flavors they offer when I inquired and I got to make my own custom drink. Their blended "funky monkey" was incredibly refreshing and hit the spot, it was a great combination of flavors. Their food was amazing too, they have really good smoked salmon and I've never seen rainbow bagels here in California! Was so surprised to see them when I walked in. You can really tell they put a lot of effort into the quality of the experience thru every aspect. The inside is also super gorgeous, and honestly a great homely break from shopping and the rest of the mall. We ordered a hot cappuccino and an iced latte. It looks like they either messed up with the order or do not know how to make a cappuccino because the drink was pure milk and had no taste of coffee. Even the iced latte was stronger than the cappuccino and cappuccinos are supposed to have less milk and more foam (there was no milk foam in our drink). I feel sad that there's no other places to get coffee in Stoneridge and miss Artly :( read more

The customer service here is terrible! The manager was extremely overworked which was very noticeable. I ordered a blended white chocolate mocha but was given something completely different that clearly had a brown caramel drizzle on top of the whip cream, the color of the drink was light brown, and to top it off the drink did not taste like white chocolate. When I took it to the cashier to ask for another drink and told her my issue with the drink she argued with me saying that it was what I ordered. She told the manager and he also tried to say it was a white chocolate mocha. He then said "just give her money back" with a clear attitude and no respect for the customer. I will never go back to this store and I do not recommend this place to anyone! It's better to just buy a bottle of water from the vending machine! read more
