Mr. Sun Mango W/ Mango Boba 月亮特調
Alicia A.

stopped by here during Pleasanton weekends on Main. We ordered a bunch of drinks and their popcorn chicken. Did not like the popcorn chicken as it was too salty and over cooked, probably due to just 1 person working in the store. The mango colada was super refreshing and I thoroughly enjoyed it, wished that there were more passionfruit seeds. My son enjoyed his Mr. Sun Mango with mango boba. I also ordered the grape green tea with grape pulp and green tea jelly and strawberry boba and added basil seeds. The grape green tea was ok but I paid extra for the basil seeds and there was barely any. Will be back for the mango colada. Easy ordering via the kiosk or touchscreen at the front.

Their signature Mr Sun Green Tea brought me in here. It is green tea mixed with a 0.0 Heineken. Interesting combo that works very well together. I liked it, and I would recommend giving it a try atleast once. I was sad that there was no popcorn chicken available that day, but I'll just have to come back another time. Drinks came out quick, and you can order one of the touch screens.

Whenever I'm craving fruit-flavored teas, I head to Mr. Sun in downtown Pleasanton. All their boba are made in-house and cooked to a perfect chewiness. I love that their fruit-flavored boba doesn't have an artificial flavor to it and tastes...juicy, if ya know what I mean. They've got daily specials for $5.50 and there is the ability to collect points by ordering on the Snackpass app. You can't alter the sweetness level on some of their drinks though. Other than the daily special, my favorites are the: ~ Mr. Sun mango with mango boba ~ Mr. Sun special with strawberry boba ~ Grape green tea with grape pulp, green tea jelly, and grape boba (0% sugar) The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy, and the staff are helpful and super sweet.

Good boba texture means real tapioca flour. Service was professional. Place is clean but I didn't see a bathroom. Many things on the menu, worth future visits. Go support them!

This our favorite boba place in the entire tri-valley and always end up here. The reason, the clean way of preparation, fresh boba being prepared right in front of you and the yummy flavors. Service is efficient and it's a cute little spot in downtown Pleasanton.

A weekday visit allowed me to take advantage of their weekday specialty drinks & snacks for $5. Having arrived around 6:30pm, they often run out of brown sugar boba, so I had to opt for a strawberry one. Strawberry boba really didn't compliment the Oolong Milk Tea, but the boba was pretty fresh. There could have been a little more sweetness, but it was ok. I also ordered the egg waffles. It smelled so good, but was a little on the almost burnt stage, for the bite sized portions, I'm glad I only paid $5. While it was good to try the egg waffles, I wouldn't order it again.

Tried Mr Sun via DoorDash and it was a hit. They packaged it really nicely. The Mr Sun Mango Boba was so good and refreshing. The popcorn chicken was nice and crispy. There was an option of spicy or non-spicy.. We picked the spicy and the flavor was delicious.

Located in downtown Pleasanton! What's unique about this boba place is that they have handcrafted flavored boba (Mango, blueberry, strawerry, passionfruit, rose, chocolate, and grape). It's healthier and less cal. You can order through self kiosk or with the cashier. The staff was friendly and gave us samples to try! I tried their golden brown sugar boba milk tea and it was great. A little sweeter with the brown sugar and I'd recommend getting 50-75% sweetness. My friend got their Strawberry boba milk tea and that was probably my favorite. They don't do remakes.

This little boba franchise is consistently good. What makes their taro milk tea boba stand out from other shops is that they use real taro instead of just taro flavored powder. The tea and boba is fresh and has good flavor. If the sweetness level could be customizable (a little less sweet), it would be even better. The shop is clean and well maintained, service is friendly and efficient, and there's an option to use their self ordering kiosk.

A unique, yet my favorite boba spot in the Bay! I went for a Rainbow Boba Milk Tea, 50% sweetness. I love how the Earl Grey Milk Tea flavor is strong, and pairs well with the mango and strawberry boba. The mango boba is my favorite, and the texture is good - they make their boba in house! Service was fast, and the store was nice. I'll def be back! 10/10

I have come here many times! This place has two of my favorite boba drinks - the Mr. Sun Special with Strawberry Boba, and the Mr. Sun Mango with Mango Boba! The Mr. Sun Special has strawberry puree in the drink, and the Mr. Sun Mango has mango puree in it. There is something about having puree in a drink that I just love!! In addition to the drink tasting so delicious, both drinks come with handmade flavored boba! The boba tastes like mango or strawberry, and it's just so fresh and chewy!! The combination of the handmade flavored boba and the puree in the drink makes these drinks just so heavenly! I can finish the drink in a matter of minutes! Service is always quick and the people are always nice there!

Quite simply, they are a husband and wife team who splits their time between the Big Island of Hawaii and Pleasanton. They own a small farm in Kona, complete with acres of coffee trees that grow from volcanic rock, producing coffee that has been certified as 100% Kona (meaning it is not blended with other types of coffee beans). After the coffee is grown, picked, roasted and packaged, they bring it to Pleasanton where they sell it at the local farmers' market and other events. That's where we become the winners. Having the chance to purchase a half-pound or one-pound bag of this amazing whole bean coffee, direct from the farmers is extremely rare on the mainland. But that's exactly what you get when you buy from Mokulele Farms. The coffee itself has a wonderful aroma that is only outdone by its smooth taste and rich flavor. Oh, and by the way. They also sell wonduful tasting, fresh macadamia nuts, that are also grown on their farm in Kona. These macadamias are full of natural flavor and are even bigger than the over-roasted, salty ones that you find in the supermarket. I also found out that Mokulele Farms sells their products online through their website. So if you can't get out to the farmers' market, you can order right from home. Don't be fulled by the other so-called Kona Coffee's out there. Mokulele Farms 100% Kona Coffee is certified as such and you will find that every drop of this amazing coffee is well-worth every cent that you pay for it.

There's plenty of private parking, lots of indoor and outdoor seating, and the upscale décor makes it a great place to meet friends, get some work done, or simply enjoy a quiet cup of coffee. I ordered the Caramel Macchiato, and it was easily one of the best I've ever had. Rich espresso, perfectly balanced sweetness, and incredibly smooth. The pastries were just as impressive. The Pistachio Baklava Nest was generously filled with pistachios and had the perfect balance of crunch and sweetness. The Biscoff Cheese Danish was another standout, topped with Biscoff drizzle and a whole Biscoff cookie that made every bite even better. The café also has a large-screen TV and clean, separate men's and women's restrooms, making it comfortable for longer visits. Whether you're stopping by for your morning coffee or meeting up with friends, Delah Coffee delivers excellent drinks, delicious pastries, and an inviting atmosphere. Food: I went here twice and every single time I get any of the shwarmas or meat pies, its cold. Not just a little bit, the entire inside and bottom is soggy cold. It tastes good, super light not heavy, but the coldness makes it unappetizing unfortunatly. Additionally, the biscoff cake was super dry for a milk cake, but the taste is still nice. The saffron and caramel cake are nice though, milky, sweet, pairs well with a hot drink. Drink: Dissapointing. Matcha, Chai, Latte, Smoothie, Refresher--I tried them all and was dissapointing. Matcha (latte, mango, and strawberry) tasted insanely water, same with the adani chai--which is something I look forward to at every cafe. I think increasing the milk content in the chai could really improve it. Coffee was also done poorly (iced and hot). Refresher was alright, super sweet but other than that it wasnt bad. The only thing that was the best was the smoothie. The mangorabian tastes like a chocolatey mango lassi, you can't go wrong with a smoothie. Room for improvement on everything. Overall: Very nice elegant cafe that is perfect for hangouts and doing work, the food needs to get warmed up longer to avoid coldness and all the drinks need to be improved to increase the quality of the taste. Looking forward to the change!

We ordered mango and kinako (a roasted soybean flour commonly mixed with sugar). These are large desserts! It takes time to make them since there are fresh ingredients inside. The mango was superb with little bits of fresh mango buried inside the ice. Not sickeningly sweet like the syrups most places use. My husband's had little mochi pieces mixed inside. It is common to add kinako to mochi so this was a bonus and a nice surprise. The kinako dessert was sweeter than the mango. Please know that there seems to be no a/c in this little shop but she has fans going. We went in the late afternoon so it was really uncomfortable inside. I had to leave and wait outside until the dessert was ready. It's hard to take these home as it melts fast so we sat inside to enjoy them. It was like heaven in my mouth and it cooled me down instantly. You must be patient as it takes at least 10-15 minutes for her to prepare the desserts but it is worth the wait!
