Minor discomfort (less than expected) and bite is so well aligned I hardly notice that anything was done to 3 teeth, that's excellent. Some personal preferences for the less than perfect rating: especially as a new patient, I would have liked a little bit of personal interaction with the doctor to establish trust or discuss concerns. Clinical may be his style (and staff makes up for this) but lack of interaction felt a bit cold and conveyor belt-y in such a high volume office. Hygienist was very sweet but lacked some self awareness - resting hands with instruments on my face / jaw (which pulled / strained muscles), pushed suction tube against roof of mouth, tapping / shaking her leg while it was brushing against me in the chair, excessively pulling at a band when had difficulty removing (no problem but should have asked for assistance earlier), after procedure complete pushed on tooth (to remove bite paper colorant) despite me putting hand up with fatigued / cramping muscles. I'd given two indications during visit of pre-existing condition / muscle sensitivity and would have been more comfortable if this was better cared for. Dental work is rarely pleasant in any circumstances though. Overall I feel very good work completed.

I had a dental emergency and was in terrible pain on a Thursday. I called the emergency phone number and never got a call back. I finally got an appointment on Monday. Also, I recently got a new crown. Soon after the crown, I noticed throbbing. Dr. Martello said it was due to placque irritaiting the gum. I continued to have throbbing for over 5 months and finally got in to see another dentist. It turned out to be a large abscess that was there long enough to degrade the bone and cause further infection in the sinuses. As a result, I had to have a root canal. Also, the crown is of poor quality and may need to be replaced. I have since heard of other complaints about Dr. Martello. Don't go there!

I was there earlier this month for a cleaning. After the cleaning, Dr. Lemick noticed one of my fillings was aging and there was possible decay to my tooth. They immediately scheduled to have it re-filled. I wanted to use nitrous, but they discouraged me and said it would be extra that my insurance wouldn't cover. Instead they used a light amount of novacaine. She did a great job without any sign of pain or discomfort. So far, so good. Cost is reasonable even with insurance.

This procedure we were unable to schedule due to a shortage of dental hygienists at this location. The office does not provide all services in-house, we were required to seek treatment from another dental facility, incurring additional expenses. Despite scheduling a filling appointment based on a cavity identified during x-rays, the office unexpectedly requested another set of x-rays upon our arrival, necessitating a rescheduled appointment. This deviation from the previously communicated plan is unacceptable.
