This was my second -- and absolutely last -- experience at Plantation Ford. I'd rather drive out of town than deal with them again. When you arrive, nobody greets you. Everyone pretends to be too busy to notice customers, so you just stand there until you figure it out yourself. Horrible customer service. I brought my car in to fix the A/C thinking Ford would handle it properly. They replaced the compressor but couldn't sync the system to the dashboard screen. The A/C now works separately from the car's display. When I pointed it out, they said maybe it "was like that before." Completely insulting. After insisting they review it, I left the car and got a call an hour later: "There's nothing we can do." My advisor even admitted the manager Colby Ferch wouldn't return my call because "he won't do it." I paid nearly $2,000 for this. The car is now worth less, and the A/C still isn't right. They also quoted $850 for a spare key -- without programming! Ridiculous. This dealership overcharges, underdelivers, and takes zero responsibility. Go anywhere else. read more

From the moment I walked in, to paying for my "service" was like trying to get help at Walmart. I came in for a tire service, regular service and a warranty issue. They ignored the warranty issue. They didn't want to honor the tire replacement and finally I had to make all the calls myself to get them to handle the tires. Finally they charged me for things that I didn't need and ended up doing half the work. And they could not find my keys or my paperwork when I went to pick up my car. Comically bad! Took my truck in for an oil change on extended warranty service via Ethos with an appointment made days in advance and it took them 4 1/2 hours to do it. The service department was nice enough when I booked the appointment, but as soon as I got there they didn't know how to handle it. The guy at the service counter was rude. It took them hours before they even started because supposedly they had to confirm my extended warranty first. I gave the woman who booked the appointment the number for Ethos in advance so they could have done that well before I got there. Got a call the next day from a woman in their accounting department who didn't understand what had happened, so I had to explain to her how extended warranties work and give these people the number for Ethos a third time. And while I'm waiting, they start texting me trying to get me to sell them my vehicle and buy a new one from them. I felt treated like a number, not a valued customer. Their whole team seems incompetent and I got the feeling they all hate their jobs. I am new to the area and was looking for service at a dealer. I scheduled a service appointment with them. I am also considering purchasing a vehicle for my wife. When I arrived there were four people in the service dept. the guy who spoke to me seemed indifferent. He told me the guy who was scheduled to help me was scheduled for lunch at the same time my appointment was for. I was instructed to wait by his desk. Then the gentleman came in and was helping another customer. He told me he would assist me when he finished. I stood there waiting for longer than I cared for. They squeezed me in their schedule for the next day. Today I went to sawgrass Ford and was treated as a valued potential customer. The service tech I was scheduled to meet was late. I spent $1,233.00 at Plantation for 4 break pads and 4 new rotors on 01/01/22. On 03/11/22 I brought it into Bozard Ford in St. Augustine because I was hearing noise I hoped was not due to breaks. Unfortunately it was. My front rotors were grooved. After calling Plantation I was informed that my front rotors were turned and not replaced (even though I explained that I wanted all 4 parts new). They have been very hard to get ahold of and still to today are trying to find blame elsewhere knowing there has been less than 2000 miles driven on the pricey job they did. I paid this assuming this was a reputable business and the cost would equally peace of mind. This is a road trip and having my van down has already cost $300.00 more in hotel fees because of the run around instead of taking responsibility for their clear mistake. Acceptable car service with unacceptable customer service. Car was at the dealership for a diagnostic for a total of 8 days. Upfront time estimate for the car to be seen by a mechanic was "a couple of days." From the time I dropped off the car untill the time I picked it up I received no proactive communication from the service center about the expected timeline or status of the vehicle. Three days after the car was dropped off, having not heard anything, I started calling my assigned service representative (Jose) to get an update on the service status of the vehicle. I called a total of 12 times over the following 5 days. Not a single one of those calls was answered. I left a voice mail each of those 12 times with my name and number requesting a call back and did not receive a single call back. After 8 days of being ignored by the service representative I contacted the dealership receptionist first thing in the morning and asked to speak to the service manager. The receptionist was able to confirm that the car had been looked at the previous day and was ready to be picked up (when were they planning to let me know?) and informed me that the service manager would call me back shortly to discuss the details of the service. He never did. Diagnostic work on the car was fine, but the communication was atrocious. read more

DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!! I brought my Lincoln here because a hose came loose (see picture). They had my car for over 7 WEEKS. Told me my motor was good (I have video recording) and I needed a starter, battery and battery cable $940. Julie called and said car is fixed and ready to go. Pulled 15 feet out of parking lot and car died and motor started knocking. Picture included is my car sitting for at least 2 weeks outside, hood open and raining EVERY DAY. Mark Ruffo (service manager) claims that's how it was when I brought it in. Colby Ferch (General Manager) ghosted me after blaming ME for the problems. All I asked for was a refund on my last service since they lied to me. If they told me the motor was hydrolocked, why would I replace a starter and battery? I've emailed the CEO Mike and of course, no response. The incompetence and lack of caring is very disturbing. Now, I will file a formal complaint with Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services and Ford Headquarters. Dispute all charges at the bank. Leave reviews whereever I can and tell my lawyer to file a lawsuit. This will cost them more than it would have. VERY ANGRY and this place should be held accountable. Last June I took my car to Plantation Ford because of a noise that appeared to be a belt problem. I paid over $800. Seven months later, the noise returned. I dropped the car off one evening four weeks ago, hoping I would get a call back the next day with a description of what was wrong. It was 3 o'clock when I called to find out they didn't even look at the car. I went and picked up the car. I brought the car back a week ago to get the problem fixed. On day 2, I still hadn't heard from Plantation Ford about the car. After calling to inquire, I received a call back to say they were ordering parts. On day 4, After calling the management with another inquiry, I received another voice mail from Richard saying that "when we go in we will see what's going on" How could they have ordered parts prior to that? It then became clear to me that they didn't want to do any work because they weren't getting any money (the warranty was still in force. Today, (DAY 5) I was asked to pick up the car because the work was complete. BEHOLD! the same EXACT noise is still there. Richard now says I should bring it back again, sometime in the future to check on the noise. I know that NOTHING WAS DONE ON THE CAR, AND THAT I WAS ASKED TO PICK IT UP BECAUSE I COMPLAINED. Richard believes I am a dummy!! Richard, I know you lied. Here is my opinion for all those who do not treat people the way they THEMSELVES would like to be treated - BEWARE OF KARMA!! Business is rated 'F' by the Better Business Bureau. I brought my truck in for an oil change and to fix my sunroof. They broke my sun roof much worse than it was and smeared grease all over my tan overhead while 'diagnosing' the issue. They told me that my warranty contract (which is valid) would not cover it, when in fact, the warranty company had offered to cover it at a proper cost (not the $2500 this business quoted me). The reason they told me that my warranty company would not cover it was because they would make less money with my warranty company involved. I did not know this until I called the warranty company. The service department also broke the rain catch (according to the second mechanic I took it to) and I did, in fact, take rain damage afterwards. The second mechanic also left grease all over my overhead, and it looks really bad now. I was told it looked as if Plantation Ford broke it worse to make me have to use their service. I had mentioned this before and I am now suing because of it. When I told the service foreman that they broke it worse and left fingerprints all over my tan interior, his reply was 'I'm not doing nothing for ya'. They left everything a mess, including leaving my sunroof glass slanted instead of placing it properly back in place. Save yourself a headache and do not go here. These guys will rip you off, claim they did nothing and tell you they 'ain't gonna do nothin for ya'. I think this review meets community standards. It is truthful and compliant with Yelp Terms of Service. If it is taken down again, I will have to believe that Ford is paying to have it taken down, and will respond accordingly. My hasband had a really horrible experience at Ford plantation his first time taking the car here. He has a Ford Fusion and he took the car in for a couple of different things, main one being water leaking into the car after a couple of bad storms. The first time he went over, he had an appointment and the person who works on the water damage was apparently not there. He was unable to get that done which was the primary reason he went to Ford. While he was there he mentioned to them about having a glitch in the passenger side window acting up when trying to close it. The mechanic worked on it, but unfortunately programmed it such that the window was staying open a tad bit on the top. We went in together to Ford on a Friday to see if they could fix the window problem. It seemed just a computer fix and should not be something that would take long, but the front lady informed us that due to the showroom being busy it would take a long time. My husband got an appointment for Monday morning at 7:30am. He was there at the appointment time and had to wait a ridiculous while to get a simple job done. A couple of hours of waiting, he checked with the front staff and they informed him that they were having a difficult time in locating his car. How in the world can you lose a car?!?!?!?! When my husband, after a 12-hour night shift got upset at them, they had the audacity to tell him to remain calm and they would fix the situation. Regardless, an hour later, they were able to find the car, but never fixed the problem. He had to explain to them the reason he came to Ford was to get the window fixed and at that point, they took it in to take care of the issue. This was extremely unprofessional since how is it that a big corporation like Ford is unable to fix a simple problem and has to be reminded multiple times about the reason why we initially came in. When he asked for the money back, of course the response was a NO. I would highly recommend that if you have to get anything done here, make sure the staff is vigilant and you do not have an unpleasant like we did. We will surely not be going back to this Ford to get any of the servicing done. read more

After 3 and half weeks of waiting on a part, my truck was stolen off their lot in the middle of the day while they were open and nobody stopped the tow truck driver. The service department and owner of the dealership treated us absolutely horrible. Don't ever bring your vehicle here. They do absolutely nothing to protect service vehicles. Terrible Service i had a 7:30 am appt. i arrived at 7:20am door was locked employees were sitting at desks ( trying to avoid eye contact). door was unlocked at exactly 7:30am. 4 service desks but only 3 service employees , and of course the Service guy "Mike" is running late. At 7:45am the other service guy did Mike's work and checked my car in and then Mike shows up at 7:55am, says he's going to get me in and out. ( All i wanted was Oil changed and 2 new tires.). Fast forward to 9:35 am, i go check on the progress of car, and i'm told by service guy,, Mike that he had just submitted my paper work 10 mins ago. i asked why did he take two hours to put paper work in system and he blamed service tech guys in the bay area for slow diagnosis. Now, because it's a fleet car , they need approval before beginning! At this time i decide to speak with the Director Colby , and explain my frustration and he told me that i would be called immediately when paperwork was approved. i left in car to handle some business and waited on call. at 12:45pm i reaches out to Fleet to find out why paperwork was being delayed and i was told paperwork had been approved at 10:06 am ( approx 3 hours earlier). Drove back to dealership and now service guy Mike and his boss director Colby are both at lunch. Have to wait an additional 30 mins. Questioned Mike why he didn't call , and he had no response , except he will get it out to bay to be worked on. It is now 1:45 pm. and i'm hoping that an oil change and two tires with rotation and balance can take less than 1 hour. I seriously doubt the service will be done soon and i seriously doubt service will get better. Plan on speaking to Colby if he ever returns back from Lunch. 1:50am Colby is back from lunch, doesn't seem concerned that no one called to say they had approval and the 3 hour delay. Car is on rack , hopefully out of here on the next hour ... and WIll NOT RETURN. i would suggest you Take your business elsewhere. If you need tires go to a Tire shop. if you need oil change go to Jiffy or any quick oil change location. I scheduled to get 4 recalls done on my 2019 F350 that I haven't even had for a yr and I also have a death wobble that has taken me off the road. Now I had asked for a loaner vehicle or rental since this is my only means of transportation. The service advisor told me that they would need my truck for 2 days, 1 day to fix the recalls and a second day to diagnose my front end. With that being said he also told me they could not supply me with a vehicle until they diagnose my front end and it could take longer to fix it..... what!?!?!?
