Have to say one of the worst customer service in the service department!!! I scheduled to get 4 recalls done on my 2019 F350 that I haven't even had for a yr and I also have a death wobble that has taken me off the road. Now I had asked for a loaner vehicle or rental since this is my only means of transportation. The service advisor told me that they would need my truck for 2 days, 1 day to fix the recalls and a second day to diagnose my front end. With that being said he also told me they could not supply me with a vehicle until they diagnose my front end and it could take longer to fix it..... what!?!?!? I spent 90k on a KING RANCH super duty and you're telling me you can't give me a rental while you fix your manufacturing defects!!!!! Never bring your vehicle here!!!!! read more

Came here because it is close to my job.... I have a tire warranty through Ford. I came to fix my tire, it has been an hour and there is no resolution in sight. First, he could not find the warranty.... I repeated that I had it and it appeared on the sheet. Then he said they didn't have the tire, so I said to put any tire (didn't want to leave with a nail in my tire), then he came back and said they didn't have ANY tires to fit my car. They have not offered any other solutions.... it is a waste of my time to sit here and not have a resolution. There should be a plan in order to help customers. They broke the lever to open my vehicle trunk. They said they couldn't open my trunk and my assumption was they were having trouble with the release for my hood once it was popped with the lever. I decided that if they couldn't use muscle to open my vehicle they weren't going to touch it. As I was leaving I tried to see why they were having such a hard time. The broke the release. They were running a diagnostic and didn't need to open my hood. Why did they try to open my hood? They offered no service recovery. Their manager Coby Fisch said it was family owned and operated. The customer service representative Richard took 3-4 business days to contact my warranty company and I had to tell them to contact the rental company. It took me 20 minutes to contact the same company. They didn't call me until I called several times. Every time they had a chance they told me I would have to pay and then I would get reimbursed. I had to tell them that wasn't how warranty works. There were too many red flags telling me not to have them service my vehicle. I will go somewhere where they don't pop my hood to runs a diagnostic, break my vehicle release lever to attempt to make more money, and their experience with servicing a vehicle is beyond my knowledge. Good only for changing oil. Last week, after a while, I picked up my MUSTANG. I paid $ 702 and left. Unfortunately I found that the car was delivered to me dirty and smelly. The passenger seat was fully reclined as if it had been the rest of a homeless. Now, I don't expect it to be returned to me clean, but at least not dirty. I also own a TOYOTA LAND CRUISER and in the past I had a MAZDA, where I performed all the services and the car was always returned to me clean and perfumed, in addition, under pandemic, even sanitized. Spending $ 700, it seems to me that a minimum of attention to a customer who has always carried out by maintenance service at FORD PLANTATION is a must. Then, the icing on the cake: the resolution of the claim regarding the rear camera defect was carried out by low-level amateurs, in addition to having left the trunk dirty with debris of copper and wire, the wires were left unprotected  and not secured to the bodywork. Therefore, I believe that my trust in FORD PLANTATION is definitively closed. With the consequence that, the work of the replacement of the tank (as previously agreed) and the next services will be carried out by a different subject. read more

I purchased a 2018 mustang and within 3 weeks the clutch starts slipping and I can't drive my car trust has 22k miles on it, I take it to service they call me saying it'll be 2400 for a new clutch assembly, I have all the warranties I can get but it won't cover. Ok fine, but what about the fact that it's only been 3 weeks since the car drive off the lot, a clutch takes a lot longer then 3 weeks to go out like that and no I didn't burn it out or shift bad I drive it fine. If that wasn't bad enough I was told to come back on Monday because they don't come in on the weekend. A simple phone call would have saved me over an hour in traffic. about a year ago I bought a new set of tires from them, and have been driving on them no problem. But I just recently had a flat and when I tried to change to my spare, I found the lug nuts on my wheel were totally stripped. The road side service guy told me whoever put the wheels on must have used and air gun instead of a normal socket driver. When I came back and talked to the service manager Mark, he told me that they couldn't offer me any sort of warranty or discount on a job they did a year ago. I left and took my car to USA Tires one block down. Got my tire patched and 4 new lugs in about half an hour and for under fifty bucks. Don't buy a vehicle from here if you want to be treated fairly. I bought a vehicle from here, with a trade in. I have been in the automobile industry in Florida for most of my life, so I at least have some idea of what I'm dealing with and what to expect when I walk into a dealership. I paid nearly a premium for what seemed to be a quality vehicle. Here's the kicker - when I took the vehicle out on the highway after the deal was done, I went to turn on the cruise control which was clearly listed in the ad and to my surprise, NO CRUISE CONTROL! NO TILT STEERING! An options package worth about $1,000.00! Ok, fine. But when I tried to return the vehicle with ad in hand to exchange for the proper vehicle, no dice. No refund, no rebates, no unwinding the deal, no alternate vehicle, customer satisfaction or mention thereof. Basically, their attitude was "You bought it, now get out of here." When I showed up back on the lot 5 minutes after leaving, the Sales department wouldn't even speak to me - completely ignored. I had to go in to the customer service department and ask to speak to a general manager. My advise is that there are plenty of other Ford dealers out there, or dealerships in general for that matter. read more

Went there for an oil change and tire rotation. We ended up needing front brakes and a motor mount. $700 for new rotors and pads, $200 for the mount. I didn't have a choice since we were going out of town the next day. Asked for a quote on fixing the front windshield pillar covers and they quoted $900! This is a defective design from Ford and they rip you off to fix it! Bought kit from Jegs for $225 and fixed myself. On top of all this when I get home I notice they didn't do the tire rotation. When I call the service guy he made it sound like he didn't believe me or I didn't know what I was talking about! I know that the wheels with the heavy brake dust are front wheels and after a rotation they should be on the back. He was arguing with me over a $19.99 service when I just spent $1000 on a motor mount and brakes! I will not be going back there for anything! read more

They charged me $159.70. They had me pre-pay the charge. It was for a new part with installation. After an hour they told me they could not install the part nor refund my payment. They insisted that my only option was to take store credit, as if I would ever return to this business in the future. I insisted on a refund of my payment and they refused. After two hours I called the police and filed a report. Now I'm on my way to small claims court. Can you believe? Hand to God this is all true. read more

This is my second review because Yelp received complaints from the "yelp community" also known as plantation ford and deleted my review.....(not enough info according to yelp/ford) So here it goes. Some time ago I went to PF and test drove a mustang....I kept telling the the salesman that there was not enough gas but he said there was plenty. I wanted to drive around the back of the dealership before we went on the highway and thank goodness we did because we ran out of gas!!!!! literally ran out of gas driving from the front of the dealership to the back!!!! The salesman went and got a gas can and put 50 cents more in the tank. I should have left then but I really wanted a convertable so i bought the piece of junk. As I was leaving I noticed that the gas tank was on empty and I asked why there was no gas and was told that they do NOT put gas in used vehicles!!!! I am not making this crap up, my daughter was with me!!! I made him give me $20.00 so I could make it home...yes, I would have run out gas again. Anyway, long story short (there is so much more I could say about the horrible place) but suffice to say if you must buy a mustang go to Sawgrass Ford where at least you will be treated with respect. Oh and that XM radio that they said was operable was only operable if you paid $800.00 to hook it up!! Is this enough info for you yelp??? 3/17/18 I have since traded this crappy mustang in and have 2 toyota's, the second one was a used 2016 Toyota...not only did the dealer deliver the vehicle but they stopped and FILLED up the gas tank before bringing it to my house!!! I received a call from the service manager who was very concerned about what happened and he made me promises that it would never happen again. He also offered to give me my next service for free. My appointment was for 12:30 pm, I arrived at 12:05 pm, my truck was taken to the service department immediately, after 45 minutes I was told they wanted to replace a blinker sending unit, I gave the go ahead. The truck sat in service until 1:45 with no one even so much as looked at it. I asked to get my truck back and forget the service to the blinker. My company has bought 3 trucks now from Plantation Ford. They just expanded and updated their facility. The people from the top down are first class. That is Mike Hooley and is team members. I read some reviews and I see that it must be easy to complain as you are motivated by feeling that you will get heard.....but it much less likely to write about successful experiences because we have a tendency to take it for granted in the USA. But this business is old school and family run. You have an issue then call Mike Hooley directly. He owns the place and if you got a beef then call him. Believe me, he gets stuff done. I leased a 2018 Expedition at Plantation Ford. I worked with Fleet Manager Rafael Yokell. This was hands down the best auto dealership interaction I have ever experienced. I had to order the vehicle. Price was agreed upon right up front and Rafael kept me updated throughout the whole build and delivery process. Once the vehicle as ready for pick up, I was at the dealership less than an hour. All paperwork was prepared in advance of my arrival, and there was no waiting around. Rafael's associates in finance and accessories were equally as courteous and efficient. The dealership is clean, modern, attractive and convenient. The Expedition is awesome as well. There is a closer Ford dealership to my home, which I visited first (bad vibes). I'm glad I spent the extra time and a few extra miles to do business with Rafael and Plantation Ford. I highly recommend them. read more

My story is about a Ford Dealers recall ! Plantation was given my Explorer and did the first of two recall items in the beginning of 2021 . I was told parts for the luggage rack ( second part recall ) were not in , " we'll call you when they are in" . Well after more than a dozen phone calls to Plantation Ford , none of them were returned. Finally my last call ( now at the end of July, had me making an appointment after they confirmed that the parts were now in. Appointment was for 9 am Wednesday . I arrived at 8:30am and got in the service line of vehicles. Ms. Spencer advised me to go around the line which I did, only to be told by another service person to get back in the vehicle line, which I did. I pulled up to the service office doors and announce to service person at the desk, at 8:50am , I have an appointment for recall at 9:00am . I sat and waited until 9:20 when ms Spencer came by. She asked if I was dropping the car, I said no I'm going to wait for it to be done, with that she excused herself and left me for another customer. my best efforts to be timely yielded a hour wait because Plantation Ford was not ready to honor the service appointment and chose to keep me waiting. I waited until 9:35am when I left I left with my disappointment. My discussion with Ms Spencer was less than a minute or two , 20 minutes after our appointment time. Why make an appointment if you're not ready to actually meet with the customer at that time and commence working on the vehicle ? I'm again in search of a Ford Dealership that is professional and businesslike . After the performances Pines Ford and now Plantation Ford, I'm not sure how far and how much time that might take. read more

I used to use Plantation Ford as it was close and I didn't know of any others near me. The service level has seemed to degrade over the past year when bringing my car in for service. In the past they were very helpful and willing to work with you on offering the best service for the price. Today it seems they are just looking for people to come in and drop off their cars and don't seem to offer any real customer service.
