I have read some of these reviews this is not Barney's it's a wholesale numbers business. I have purchased from here many times both in person and over the phone they are quick and to the point. But not so quick they didn't text me examples of containers to fit my needs and then walk them down the street to where my trees were purchased. Great value, quick service and awesome product. As a person in the customer service industry I realize that some customers may be more difficult than others; however, it is our responsibility to cater to them as long as they are not being rude, offensive, or unreasonable. To have to be yelled at in front of other customers (as well as other employees) simply because there was ONE change of heart is utterly ridiculous. Having a "shit" day only goes so far in terms of an excuse. Customer service here is trash. Make sure you know EXACTLY what you want, DON'T EVER change your mind, and as a matter of fact NEVER come here. read more

The worst customer service I have ever experienced! How the stay in business is beyond me. Not only are the salespeople rude but so is the owner! They act as if you are being a nuisance by asking questions regarding the products they are selling! I would suggest shopping elsewhere. Yes they do have a large selection of product but it's not worth the abuse in shopping there. I have been reading the reviews on this business and I have some thoughts to share. I love Planter Resources and the folks who work there. There is nobody more caring than Joe (owner), Paula and the entire team. The reviews that are written have one consistent element that keeps coming up: "the selection is great but the service is substandard". Here is the proper perspective: Yes, the selection is amazing. This is the wholesale flower district and you have to carry a large inventory to satisfy the needs of the local florist. As for service, this is not Bloomingdale's people! It is a wholesale business that has made a strategic decision (due to high demand) to sell to the public as well. You cannot beat the prices here but you are not paying for frills. Come in, browse, ask a question or two and make your purchase or move on. This is how wholesale businesses operate and if you go there with the right perspective you will never be disappointed. Joe will give you great prices and he will always stand by his product (even years after the purchase). What they cannot do is hold your hand and engage in small talk when they are overwhelmed trying to help everyone (with a very small markup I may add).
