My PLT bluetooth is the one thing I can count on every day. The noise cancellation is even better than expected!

I have 2 Edges ear pieces that are constantly dropping phone calls - no notification of incoming calls, nothing! So after checking to make sure (for the tenth time) that my firm ware is up to date, I reset the sensors, and/or disable the sensors, delete the Edge from the phone's blue tooth listing, pair the phone again, and it will work for a short time, then starts missing calls again. Contacted support at this messed up company, and their only suggestion was to replace the ear pieces. I spent about $225 for these ear pieces and the features they promised, and they don't perform as they should, and I should replace them with 2 more pieces of the same junk? Yeah, that makes sense. All I can say is the quality of the product and the quality of the support are exactly the same - miserable. read more

I use my headset a lot being that I'm a Realtor and always moving. I wanted to let Plantronics know how AWESOME their service was but there was nowhere on the website to do so. I had a Discovery 975 headset that just died for no reason on me and I filed a claim on the website. After I got instructions on how to send the dead unit back to them, I sent it out the next day in the afternoon. I checked my email later only to notice that they had already shipped a replacement (though it was refurbished and not new) unit by next-day mail. They did this before they even received the dead unit I sent back. If this isn't spectacular service, I don't know what is. I've been a long time fan of Plantronics and have always used their headsets. They're excellent and the sound on the other end is the best. I wouldn't go to any other brand for my headset needs. They have a customer for life. read more

HORRIBLE, TIME CONSUMING COMPANY!! Absollutely NO customer service (let alone working products) including their 5200 and 5220 bluetooth headsets! Don't waste your time, like I did for OVER SIX MONTHS with them! They even send you to other companies to buy their products, then refuse to back them up when they don't work FROM DAY ONE!! read more

I have a set of the Backbeat FIT headphones and absolutely love them!! I've never liked the wrap around the ear style of head phones but I now love them! I use them for running and paddling as well as for work on conference calls etc. On average I run or paddle for about an hour to an hour and a half at a time. The headphones are very comfortable and the sound quality is amazing! I've even taken a few work calls while out on the water! The Backbeat FIT are by far the best headphones that I've ever used! read more

Very UnHappy Update 5/27/2016: Now waiting 17 days for a replacement head set I finally got through and spoke to a lady in internet purchases, she told me that plantonics refunded my money???? But I asked for a replacement unit on the return paper work, when I asked her why, she blamed me for filling out the paper work wrong??????? I pushed for her to help me out and she hung up on me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! never again Plantonics after nearly 10 years using their product. 5/17/2016 I was concerned about other reviews that the poorly designed magnetic charging plug charger does not work lots of bad reviews, well guess what. got the new ear piece and plugged it in and it will not charge, now I am waiting for warranty repair on a BRAND NEW PRODUCT. read more

I gave a honest review of the BackBeat Fit on the Plantronics website and they wouldn't publish the review because it didn't "meet a few simple guidelines". Since they wouldn't publish the review on their site I wanted to share my thoughts and experience with the company here. Original post: Poor Experience I got a BackBeat Fit as a Christmas present last year and it worked perfectly. Unfortunately, a year later the battery stopped working all together and the headphones wouldn't even register when being plugged into the USB port. When I contacted customer support, they had me ship them the broken headphones (which cost me $25) and sent me a new pair within the week. After plugging in the new pair, I faced the exact same problem and contacted customer support a second time. This time, the support representative proceeded to cut me off and said that she would send me another pair, but I had to once again return a defective pair of headphones. Overall, I was dissatisfied with the customer service and would not recommend the BackBeat Fit as they have been unreliable in my experience. I have never posted a review in my life, but I hope this helps future Plantronics consumers. read more

I can't recommend Plantronics at all. I have a Gamecon 780 headset, which like all of their products is pretty pricey. TWO YEARS since a driver update and the ONLY way to get the headset to work with a PC is to go download some shady, jury rigged version of the drivers from Eastern Europe. Spend your money with a company that cares enough to put out a quality product, NOT here. read more

I just realized what great a company Plantronics is. I have been using their cs55 wireless headset in my office for about 5 years. The battery is starting to fail. I called tech support and they gave me the part number for a new battery. I ordered it from A****n.com and it is on its way. I also realized that I have been using their backbeat headphones for my cell phone and tablet for years. I have lost several pars over the years, but I have always replaced them with the same model. Way to go Plantronics! I'm a customer for life! read more

I have two high-end Bluetooth earbuds from Plantronics, a Voyager Legend and a Voyager Edge. Each cost about $100, so I was expecting clear, reliable communications. Both, however, suffered from dropped calls, early battery drain and poor transmission (I could hear okay, but my callers complained of very poor quality sound). I would often have to disconnect the earbuds to complete the call. Plantronics, evidently, does not publish a simple e-mail address to contact them with. Odd, considering that it is a telecommunications company. Customers ARE your business and not an inconvenience. I have seen similar complaints, but I will leave this one open to amendment. Others have complained due to poor service. We'll see if they service what they sell, or whether it's a big run-around. Watch this space. read more

Contacted them when having issues with a headset I purchased they were quick to reply and very professional. Offered solutions to fix it helped me find parts and we managed to get it taken care of for way less than I was thinking I needed! Will buy from them more often personally. read more

Do Not Purchase Plantronics Products! Please read on: I purchased a Voyager PRO HD for use with an iPhone 3S. After about 3 months of it preforming poorly (conversations breaking up and distorted) I contacted tech support. After multiple calls and spending quite some time on the phone with Victor, it was determined I may have a defective unit. My problems were still blamed on the iPhone (of course) even though my wife's Motorola Bluetooth headset worked perfectly with my phone. In February a replacement was sent out. It worked ok for about 3 months (intermittent break-ups). Then it started getting severe. I upgraded to an iPhone 4S and the problem continued. I put it in a drawer and started using the cheap headset than came with the iPhone. It worked perfectly. Last week I needed to use a Bluetooth headset for a conference call. I charged the PRO HD and was unable to use it due to the poor audio quality. I called Customer Support and spoke with two representatives. The latter was a supervisor (Jason). He again had me go through all the tests, resets (iPhone), profile clearing, and firmware updates. He admitted that the Voyager Pro HD had complaints by customers and that Plantronics had worked closely with Apple to correct these "issues". He felt that they were resolved (not terribly convincing). He then confirmed, what the first representative told me, that I waited too long to call back and the unit was out of warranty. Even though his records showed my previous call(s) and the replacement being sent for the same problem. He offered me a chance to purchase a replacement at about half the price. I obviously did not take him up on is offer. I highly suggest you avoid this company and their products. read more

love their products and great customer service. Had 3 bluetooth headsets (kept liking new products) and latest one broke. The plastic on the earpiece broke after 5 months. Customer service replaced it no problem. Great service! read more

I bought Plantronics Backbeat Fit sometime in 2016 for $120-$160 (I don't recall the exact price). I used it a couple of times, then I stopped using them due to pregnancy. Now that I want to go back to the gym, I tried turning them on and they don't work. I called customer service and they told me that I had to pay $60 to have them fixed since it seems that the battery inside the device is not charging (mmm.. bad quality). I am very careful and have the original charging cable, packaging, etc. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT buy this expensive headset just to have it broken - you will end up paying half the price of the product when it was broken due to the company's poor quality product. Never buying anything of this brand again. By the way... very poor customer service as well, the representative did not care at all if there was an issue with the headset. read more

The CT-12 has excellent clarity, but has one major drawback. The wire that connects the headset to the phone is easily caught on doorknobs, etc. The method which the wire is secured, internally breaks the wire. Headset replacement is half the cost of the phone. Plantronics doesn't seem interested in suggestions to improve this device. read more
