The rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned - the tomatoes were cooked just right and the sausage' shrimp and other protein were plentiful. My wife had the pecan crusted river trout - she loved it. Liked not only the fish but the sides that went with it. For dessert we shared a piece of Key lime pie. My wife and I love this dessert - we've had it all up and down the south Atlantic coast from Key West to Virginia and this was excellent. A real taste of key Lime. Just an excellent place to sit and relax and have an excellent meal with some nice people.

They also have a small party room which I have attended an event in before which is always a nice touch. It's secluded and of course much quieter than their main dining area which can get pretty loud!

The meal came with a cornbread muffin. Their soft drinks here are canned and with one and tax my bill was $17 and change. The prices here are reasonable. While the vegetables were hot and good tasting the chicken was barely warm. It was a victim of the dreaded non heated serving pan it was in and being kept out on the line too long. That deserves no more than a 3 score from me. The interior was also a little chaotic with a man selling colognes and perfumes inside! I don't believe he was affiliated with Daddy's.....
